Iolande
|
Iolande doesn't have much time at all for back-patting at the success of her spell. She hears something and her head snaps up sharply and she looks to the cart, just in time to see the cask shrink and vanish. "Nethys' staff," she curses, and looks around the cart, trying to figure out what just happened.
Spellcraft check 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Daimonji
|
Daimonji's curse is loud but muffled as he notices the cask up and vanishing away from them. "Unless..."
Thinking quickly, he grabs one of the small bags of powdered chalk he keeps in his bag, then throws it where the shrunken cask was just a second ago.

I think I'm waiting on my trip victim to act.

If Ryster makes it he will try to Grapple the outline
Grapple: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Ryster should stop trying to Grapple :)
Jake Hargrove
|
Seeing her down, and dazed with Hrolf nearby, Jake turns his attention back to the cart and approaches where Ryster appears to be grappling the air.
He too attempts to grab whatever Ryster is attempting to grab.

"Tell your sister to show herself and no more magic from either of you."
Hrolf lifts the woman roughly from the ground.
"Start talking. Which of the Greycloaks put you up to this."
| GM Sloth |
"Damn!"
The cask reappears in its original location, but still at a much-reduced size. Once the chalk fades away, there is a brief moment of perfect invisibility before the woman completely appears before the group. She looks very similar to the other woman that is surrounded in the nearby alley.
"You're precious little artifact is safe. Let us go, you dirty mongrels."
Hrolf 'Beastheart' Hakonson
|
"Now tell us about the Greycloaks. How are they involved?", Hrolf growls into his victim's ear. "Where were you going to take that thing?"
Jake Hargrove
|
Jake will drag the Dazed woman in the alley over to the cart and tie her hands to the same.
Well, will you be giving us the keg, or will your sister here be coming with us?
Intimidate: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Hrolf 'Beastheart' Hakonson

We have the keg. They shrunk it.

Just to speed things up a little bit...
As the woman scowls at Hrolf, she begins to break down and plead for the life of her sister. The information she gives you is the same as what Barnel told you - They've never seen their boss, but she suspects a Graycloak, and she has a strong hatred for clerics or other god-worshipers. However, one additional piece of useful information does come from her lips. She begins to describe in detail about a warehouse that her boss uses to store goods, and can even give you directions to the warehouse.
Hrolf 'Beastheart' Hakonson
|
"The warehouse. That's where we'll find our dirty Graycloak", Hrolf says. "Let's hurry. There's no telling how many eyes and ears the Graycloak has in the city and if he or she gets wind that we're on to them, they'll be ready for us."
Ryster Demarkarios
|
Yes, no time to waste. says Ryster, as he takes the cask and puts it in his pocket.
Is it that small? I assume the Society will have a way to dispel the magic. As long as the spell doesn't end while it is in his pocket. That wouldn't be good.
| GM Sloth |
The exterior of this run-down warehouse is rotting, and the
roof is clearly sagging in places. Any paint that once coated
its walls has long since flaked off the parched-looking gray
wood. The windows are boarded firmly shut, and both pairs of
loading doors appear to be jammed closed.
I've never used Google Docs to make a map before, so I hope this turned out alright. Let me know if you have any questions.
The two sets of doors are located at Q-12 - S-12, and K-15 - K-17. Let me know where you'd like to go.
Ryster Demarkarios
|
Ryster creeps up and examines both doors for traps, locks and the ability to bar one of the doors.

Hrolf 'Beastheart' Hakonson
|
Hrolf stifles a growl at the barred door.
"Jake, check the other doors."
Daimonji
|
Daimonji crosses his arms, tapping his fingers impatiently as he gazes at one of the doors. "There must be a secret knock or somethin'. I say we try to... figure it out, an' if the door comes off its hinges, well, can't be helped."
He starts stretching out, just waiting for a signal.
Hrolf 'Beastheart' Hakonson
|
"These doors are coming down. On three, one, two, three!"
Strength: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
I'm sure a couple could assist.
Hrolf 'Beastheart' Hakonson
|
The western one.
| GM Sloth |
After a big heave of his shoulders, the doors come off of their hinges and fall to the ground. The interior of the warehouse is dim, even during the day, as very little light creeps in through the boarded up windows.
After the loud echo of the doors falling ceases, only silence can be heard from within the building.
Tell me where you guys would like to go.
Hrolf 'Beastheart' Hakonson
|
Hrolf will head inside and start clearing the place starting by heading down toward A20 and then northward.
