Male Raven Familiar 1

Morde quickly makes his way through the window

Shadow Lodge

Male Tiefling (Hungerseed) - AC 17/15/15, HP 16/16, Saves 4/6/6, Ini +2, Percep +7 - Monk Lv2

I'll assume you don't mind if we post out of turn like before.

It would take a miracle for Daimonji to be let into that bathhouse legitimately, especially seeing how well his teammates are faring on that front. Instead, he goes for the long shot of leaping through that window.

Acrobatics 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Grand Lodge

M Ulfen Oracle/Tattooed Mystic 8 [ HP 53/69 (0 NL) | AC 23 (26 with barkskin, 28 vs the first 3 attacks per turn) Tch 15 FF 19 | Fort +9 Ref +4 Will +8 | CMD 32 | Init -2 | Perc +8 | Effects: barkskin, stoneskin (43 stoneskin down), heroism, shield other]
Resources:
Mammoth Hide 7/7 | Divination 0/2 | 1st 7/7 | 2nd 6/7 | 3rd 5/5

Hrolf approaches the bathhouse guards and, after seeing that simple truth would not be enough to get by, fabricates a ridiculous lie.

"You must let me through. The water in this bathhouse is poisoned!"

Bluff: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 3 - 2 = 12

Scarab Sages

Female Human | AC: 14 (FF: 13; T: 11) | HP: 11/11 | Saves: +4/+1/+2 | Init +1 | Perception: +5 Magus 1

Iolande comes up from behind, and starts moving back and forth. "And I really have to go," she adds.

Bluff 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Shadow Lodge

Male Tiefling (Hungerseed) - AC 17/15/15, HP 16/16, Saves 4/6/6, Ini +2, Percep +7 - Monk Lv2

I'm picturing everyone bunching around the same unmoving guard while Daimonji goes "Screw this!", tries to jump through the window and flies into a wall instead. At least Morde can trivialize most of this chase, though I doubt a raven will be enough to stop the guy.

The Exchange

He will madly peck him lol. Hopefully if we fail to chase then at least Morde can shadow him

The Exchange

I'm going to post my next round action, I'm a little busy later today

Giving up on the guard, Tiasar tries the window

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

with about as much success

Male Raven Familiar 1

Morde quickly moves on, flying over the ivy wall with no trouble

lawwlzz familiars OP apparently

Jake is still working his way around to the back of the row houses that include the Bath House. Upon arriving in the back, he will use perception to give himself the best vantage point of potential rear exits.

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 10

Round 1, Init. 19

Barnel hastily attempts to unlock the gate at the embassy wall before his pursuers can gain on him

Disable Device: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14

After slipping through, the gate closes again and rearms the lock.

Grand Lodge

Hrolf growls as the guard stands his ground.

"Listen. If you don't let me through all of these people are going to die!"

Bluff: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 3 - 2 = 15

Success!

Jake, it doesn't seem as if there's an easy way to a rear exit. It likely comes out in an alley or neighboring street, both of which would take too long to find.

Still waiting on Jake's round 1 action before moving on.

Liberty's Edge

Round 1

Jake will attempt to bluff the guard.

Bluff: 1d20 ⇒ 7

Ho there friend, my brother is inside and asked me to meet him here.

Scarab Sages

Ryster tries to follow Hrolf into the bath house.

Bluff: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

Unfortunately, the bath house guards are resolute and no one except Morde and Barnel make any progress this round.

Round 2 Map

Male Raven Familiar 1

Ya I think Morde is just gonna fly that wall lol

Shadow Lodge

Male Tiefling (Hungerseed) - AC 17/15/15, HP 16/16, Saves 4/6/6, Ini +2, Percep +7 - Monk Lv2

Daimonji glances at the guards his teammates are having no luck with. The urge is strong to just get it over with and knock them out... but that would be a spectacularly bad idea.

Another attempt at the window it is, for him.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

oh darn

Scarab Sages

Female Human | AC: 14 (FF: 13; T: 11) | HP: 11/11 | Saves: +4/+1/+2 | Init +1 | Perception: +5 Magus 1

She knew that wasn't going to work, but Iolande just shrugs it off. "To the hells with it," she mutters, and makes an attempt to go through the window.

Acrobatics1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12

The Exchange

Well I bet this is quite the scene lol

Shadow Lodge

Male Tiefling (Hungerseed) - AC 17/15/15, HP 16/16, Saves 4/6/6, Ini +2, Percep +7 - Monk Lv2

Iolande joins Daimonji in unsuccessfully trying to get through that window... then an idea occurs to him.

"How 'bout you give me a boost? Better one of us tries and gets through, than two try and fail."

And by "boost", Daimonji means "Aid Another", next round. Just a suggestion, since that'd more or less take you out of the chase, but Daimonji has overall better rolls for it.

I am totally all right with that, Dai. This is not Iolande's balliwick.

Round 2

Jake will literrally attempt to push Daimonji through the window.

Acrobatics (to aid): 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11

Round 2, Init. 19

As he enters the tea party, Barnel attempts to shove past the guests in an attempt to flee quickly.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

Several guests go flying as Barnel shoves them with all his might.

Hrolf is finally able to convince the guard to let him pass, while the others are still stuck trying to get in. Several people are pointing and looking in the direction where some man just ran through moments before.

Morde also continues flying in pursuit of Barnel.

Unfortunately, Barnel's luck continues and he pushes through the tea party with ease.

Hurray! On to skills I have.

Attempting two scenes at once.

Seeing the shortest route is over the mezzanine the big ulfen grunts and tries to heave himself over it.

Climb: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 6 - 2 = 18

Along the way he dodges the various awkward bathers.

Reflex: 1d20 - 1 - 2 ⇒ (17) - 1 - 2 = 14

But some of them slow him down. =(

I was mistaken on how that works but it worked out anyway.

Actually, in order to do a "double", you have to accomplish both tasks in the same card. Meaning, both Climb and Reflex skill checks. If successful, you move ahead 3 cards. Otherwise, it's a standard action to try one, and then a move action to move to the next card (if successful.)

Also, don't forget that instead of moving, you can cast spells or make ranged attacks. Each card is 30' apart from each other, so you can use that to calculate your distance from Barnel.

Spells like Expeditious Retreat are clutch in chases. :)

Round 3

Again, Jake will attempt to push Daimonji through the window.

Bluff: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16

Male Raven Familiar 1

Morde continues on his merry way, flying over the next fence

The Exchange

1d20 ⇒ 2

Tiasar manages to come up with a rediculous lie and fall out of the window at the same time

ya...im gonna take a nap under the window lol

Shadow Lodge

Male Tiefling (Hungerseed) - AC 17/15/15, HP 16/16, Saves 4/6/6, Ini +2, Percep +7 - Monk Lv2

I'll roll after Iolande, so that she can attempt to boost Daimonji in addition to Jake's shove. (I was picturing the window being really high up rather than a tight squeeze, so I'm not gonna ponder too hard exactly how that works.) :) Gotta make this one count!

Scarab Sages

Female Human | AC: 14 (FF: 13; T: 11) | HP: 11/11 | Saves: +4/+1/+2 | Init +1 | Perception: +5 Magus 1

Iolande crouches down for a moment at Daimonji's urging, cupping her hands together into a step for the Monk. "Alley Oop!" she says, trying to use her strength to give Dai a boost.

Acrobatics 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Shadow Lodge

Male Tiefling (Hungerseed) - AC 17/15/15, HP 16/16, Saves 4/6/6, Ini +2, Percep +7 - Monk Lv2

Crud! But now let's see.

Daimonji may have been a little heavier than Iolande anticipated, but Jake had his own way of handling this. Will it work this time?

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 6 + 2 = 26

Yesssss! Next cards should be a little easier.

Round 3, Init. 19

Barnel hopes his acrobatic skills don't fail him across the slippery pond.

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

His luck continues as he pushes further through Ascendant Court.

Map is updated. The dice are apparently loving me at the moment!

Round 4

I believe Ryster made his last Bluff attempt.

Climb: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (5) - 2 = 3

Shadow Lodge

Male Tiefling (Hungerseed) - AC 17/15/15, HP 16/16, Saves 4/6/6, Ini +2, Percep +7 - Monk Lv2

Round 4

Having finally made it through, Daimonji can begin to chase in earnest. He's caught sight of Hrolf attempting to take a shortcut but getting slowed down. Will Daimonji manage to face his greatest challenge yet, slippery bathers?

Going for a double!

Climb: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Aaaaah, crud.

Male Raven Familiar 1

Ohhh nooo, Morde can't just fly his way through this one lol...well i guess it's a good thing he can talk? This is gonna get interesting...

Diplomacy1d20 ⇒ 13

Morde politely greets the hostess and finds his way through

Apparently Morde is a great talker as well. I think Tiasar will be having a chat with him

Hrolf approaches the gate leading into the chelaxian embassy.

After studying the scene for a moment, he approaches the wall and tries to scale it.

Climb: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Round 4, Init. 19

Barnel finds the market more crowded than usual, but is determined to make his way through.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23

He finds an opening and tumbles through easily. He knows that if he keeps up this pace, he should be able to slip away successfully from his pursuers.

The Exchange

Lol Hrolf. Well lucky for us I have a flying AND talking familiar. It's like we're in one of those situations where we realize a length of rope is more useful than a weapon lol

Shadow Lodge

Male Tiefling (Hungerseed) - AC 17/15/15, HP 16/16, Saves 4/6/6, Ini +2, Percep +7 - Monk Lv2

I've been neglecting my rope+grappling hook combo because setting it up is at the very least a standard action. 8( I might try to get creative with my move actions and inventory items later, though... Anyway, I think there's only Ryster left for this round, assuming those still chilling at the entrance remain there.

Still waiting on Round 4 actions from Tiasar, Iolande and Jake.
