The gnoll falls under your onslaught, and the room goes silent, though your footsteps do echo dully through the vast cistern. A staircase, crudely carved from the stone waits in the southern half of the room. After thoroughly inspecting it, you head downstairs.
The stairs empty into a small chamber of partially worked natural caverns lit by greasy torches mounted onto the walls. A barrier of iron bars, adorned with a pair of heavy doors, blocks the passage leading west. A long passage extends beyond the bars, occasionally interrupted by flowstone columns. Wedged between some of the columns, wooden walls partition the passage into smaller sections.
Mikail examines the lock and discovers the key from the gnolls above opens it with a slow creak. Directly in front of you is a door and a room built from wood, while a hallway heads south past it. You can hear the sounds of crying and a high-pitched humming, accompanied by heavy hoof-falls.

Mikail slides out of Ferabras way and watches his friend savage the gnoll. He cleans his blade on the dead gnolls before digging through their pockets. "I found several cure potions.. and some salve. I don't know what it does though. And heres a key! We may need that!"
He unlocks the gate and ushers the rest of the team through the door with a formal bow, just as if her were a footman! Smiling, he pokes his head down the hall before considering the door.

Mikail quickly waves for everyone to stop and be quiet. Carefully, he points towards the half seen figures and whispers "One big and one smaller enemy, and one captive in a cage, all down the hall. What now?"
Taking a second, he quickly and quietly pokes his head into the room to make sure that they are not leaving any enemies to hit them from the rear.

Mikail nods as the others offer their opinions to his own. "Then lets do this. I will try and sneak in around the corner and attack the closest one from behind as the rest of you run in. Once the enemy is down, we can release the prisoner. No sense in having them running around unarmed in the middle of a fight."

Mikail sees no one inside the room, but does spot a couple bedrolls: one small and one very large and reeking of animal. He also spots a couple locked chests.
This twisting cavern is divided by several flowstone columns. Four large rusted cages are haphazardly shoved against the passage walls. In addition you see a cave shut off by iron bars. Inside are seven women and four men, all looking scared and huddled and wearing rags.
As soon as Mikail gets closer, he can see four large man-sized cages, inside which is a single dirty human: 2 men and 2 women. Standing next to the northern cage is a gnome, dressed in outlandish finery and bearing several wands as well as a large spellbook. Behind him, looking every inch the bodyguard, is a scarred minotaur bearing a greataxe. Further south two men who look to be slavers move among the prisoners, distributing water and food from a slop pail.
Mikail pops around the corner and stabs the gnome, causing him to let out a scream of pain!

Hoshiko moves invisibly, while Zolarus blesses his allies!
The gnome topples to the ground, bleeding profusely. The minotaur bellows in rage, his voice shaking the walls! He swings at Mikail twice!

Ferabras moves up to the minotaur!
The two slaver thugs clutch stout clubs and move up, too. Seeing that they cannot get pass the bulky minotaur, they draw whips!
Acrobatics vs his CMD+5 to move through an enemy's space.
Zolarus' sound burst goes off!
The minotaur seems shaken slightly, as does one of the slavers. The other one seems stunned!

Invisibly Hoshiko jukes around the minotaur, who doesn't seem to notice her movement!

Mikail holds for a moment, thinking before he reaches into his pack for a scroll. "I've got something for ya, you overgrown cow!!" he calls out. Mikail quickly reads the scroll, creating a pit right under the beast!
Soran continues to fire his arrows into the mess, this time aiming over 5he pit at the slavers.

The minotaur lets out a bellow of anger as he is insulted, but no pit appears!
Soran fires twice, hitting both times! One of the slavers pitches backwards, bleeding out.
Ferabras solves the problem of the minotaur with a butcher's grace, cutting and carving the beast into its component parts in seconds!
The two slavers lash out at Ferabras, trying to pull him from his feet with their whips!
But neither can trip the tiefling!
Between Mikail and Soran the last slaver falls with many bloody wounds!

Mikail wipes the blood from his blade, and shakes his head as he re heathes it. "Damn slavers.. I hate the killing, but some people just beg for it!" he mutters. Turning away from the corpses for the moment, he moves over to the cages and the victims. "We will be freeing you, just give us a moment please. Are any of you hurt? Do any of you know who was carrying the keys or how to open the cages?" he calls out as he begins to examine the cages.
Hoshiko can hear moment behind the door!

Hearing Ferabras call out, Mikail quickly abandons his attempt to investigate the cages and rushes forward, drawing out his rapier along the way.
Soran moves up behind the group, readying an arrow.
The door opens with a CLICK and you can see three slavers followed by a woman with an air of authority. All four have drawn weapons! This thick, squat woman is just shy of 30 years old and has coarse, ruddy skin. She wears heavy eyeliner, and her hideous grin exposes tobacco-blackened gums.
"What is the meaning of this insufferable attack?!? Men, kill these fools!"

Mikail steps into line between Ferabras and Hoshiko, poking madly with his rapier against the foe he feinted against a moment before. As he steps in, he slides his weapon deep into the slavers chest, before withdrawing the blade with a dismissive flick of his wrist.
Soran:
Soran moves in behind the main line of the fighting so that he can fire his shot through the cover of the door.
Mikail cuts down the slaver with a wicked rapier strike! Soran fires at another slaver inside the room, wounding him!
One slaver steps through the door, brandishing a club at Mikail, while the other steps behind him and draws a whip and attacks Hoshiko!

However the GM fails to roll above a 5 and cries softly into his keyboard...
