Interesting seeing the different methods taken by the group. Karn is trying to get the man to their side while Ben is trying to intimidate others that might think to cross the group.
How are Ben and Karn's actions to reconcile?
If Ben's action happens first, it nullifies Karn's. If Karn's happens, Ben can still do his action, but then the whole crew will know that we have a cleric among us, since healing won't hide the blood stains.

I did note that if no one disagreed that that was the action I would take. However since Karn stepped in to deal with the situation I relent and will attempt to wipe the blood off. I am shirtless so not a terribly difficult feat. Otherwise I was guttin ah fish!
We will most likely still face the whip, but hopefully us saving the man's life will net us some brownie points for later. Might want to have someone else throw an intimidate on the man though to secure his silence. We can bluff the blood with the right roll and maybe a few aid another checks.
Maybe even not bluff it, tout the idea that were rough and tumble and won't shrink in a fight, could Harrigan want any more from his press-ganged swabs that he wants to mold into pirates!

Just letting you all know that I am in the middle of relocating to Shanghai for a summer internship. That and the laptop crapped out on me means that my posting will be very sporadic. I hope to get my hands on another laptop after I settle in, but currently looking for a place to live for the three months, so I can;t be too sure when that will be. All - you now have one helpful NPC and one friendly NPC, thanks to Gregor. Please look at the campaign info thread for what bonuses these attitudes provide. Note that, if I don't have any attitude next to the NPC, it means that they're indifferent or hostile to you.

Unrelated note. Has anyone else had a PbP ruined because one or two players have such bad grammar and continuously switch tense? Not this one but my other one is KILLING me. Every time I start to get into it these people post and it's like a brick on the windshield...

They even used "Oh snap!". And continue to use terms like hyper op and other weird modern slang in game. Its painful. I got so annoyed I posted "lol grammar" in discussion hoping to give a friendly hint. It didn't help lol. Fail.
on a related note, if Bosun Moon ever gets annoying in that same way just tell me and I'll drop the bad cliche pirate speech
I played with someone like that once, but it was a scottish accent. I had to reread their posts 2 or 3 times to get it. It was funny for a post or two, but to my horror, he kept going with it for about 6 months.
