And, thank you for that link, I will start using the bold for what my character is saying. And was my last bit in the gameplay a "wall of text"?
I was definitely going more for well mannered and respectful.

Couple bricks, maybe... not a wall. :)
Our live group has just started book 5 of RotRL... so far, four PC deaths and two animal companions. Don't forget to post in the obituaries thread when you kill your first PC!

lol, I will have to do that. For years I was a regular on the WOTC boards for similar things. When I ran shackled I had a TPK halfway through the seventh chapter. It really saddened me cause a TPK really has no way to pick up and I gave the group ample warning that they were not prepared for the fight they were picking.

I assumed we wondered off during the conversation. I thought if my character was more conscientious that he would have opposed being so rude.
If he was going to do that he wouldn't whisper in someone's ear in front of others either.

Mrach - I am going to play the ultimate herbalist just because of you someday. LOL. I am from Washington state after all.

I forgot to mention this but I left a gold piece on the table for the food. From a character perspective it was primarily because he had no idea what he ordered cost.
Zatqualmie Fire-Top
Out of game, I figured it was compensation for them not chopping me to pieces with a wood chopping axe. Either that or forcing me to kill them.
Is there anything particular you would like in in the grey text under our names? Looking at other play by posts, I've seen different people list out different things.
Zatqualmie Fire-Top
The items in parenthesis are when raging. I went ahead and incorporated the bonus to will saves for being within 30' of an animal.
Let me know if I need anything else.
GM Poisonblade
No problem. I run and play in a table top on Saturdays and I generally am messing around with that for most of the day.
If your in transition thing like shopping, just tag the end of your post "ready to go" in OOC and if I am waiting and I see that everyone is ready I will post the next step.
In this case it was me just being a bit lazy on a Sunday.
edit - so now is a perfect time for a not-so-random-encounter.

Going to make a wave here. We need to make sure we don't over run Makvor. He posts slower than the rest of us and that is a GOOD thing. We each as a group and as people need to respect his real life and time.
Also please cut down the straight OOC Posts in the IC board. I know your excited to see what's next and that thrills me but its kind of getting stale. In short its metagaming and simply will not do.
If your wanting to plan IC then post IC. I gave you a post to post your action, not inner action. Speak IC as much as you like, but do it IC. If you wanna talk about whats going on or ask an OOC question this is the board to do that at length.
Makvor
Well, I'll just add this - I will have spurts of activity, but will only really post if there's something to post *about*. If I've stated my intent, I'll generally leave it at that unless something happens to interrupt the process. Once I get a response, repeat. I'll try to post more frequently if I see that combat is imminent, etc.
Zatqualmie Fire-Top
All good points. I'll try to follow the direction GM. If I'm not, then let me know.
I wondered in Makvor was more the quiet character who only spoke when there was something worth saying or if it was a slower posting rate. :)
Also GM, please let me know if posted the combat round information correctly.
Thanks.

For skills, it's generally better to do all modifiers in the roll itself; i.e. 1d20 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 1 - 2 = 18. (Man, wish I could give you that roll to use...)
Quaylon
Oops, looks like I misread, you are right, I should have put 1/2 shaken (current/max) instead of counting it down.
For the roll, I will actually do that next time, I was not sure how it would handle that so I did the math and included only the last modifier, certainly will be easier to let the boards handle it in the future, and yes your roll is a lot better than mine. Hopefully mine will get us some needed info though.

I don't know about picking another character up and placing him elsewhere. That seems like it should be far more difficult than you made it seem. :)
Quaylon
last I checked, gnomes came in about a whopping 50lbs soaking wet, unless you are struggling against it I think it would be pretty easy, if you are struggling it would be a touch attack against your, most likely flat footed AC cause I doubt you saw it coming. Either way, it is a really good laugh for most of us!
Mrachni
I couldn't find a weight on your character sheet, but the gnome I'm playing in another PbP is 38lbs without gear. Mrachni can lift 150lbs over his head, so I figure unless you're carrying thrice your weight in gear, it's not going to be a problem. ;)
Of course, that's if you don't struggle, as Quaylon said.
Zatqualmie Fire-Top
Just remember, when raging the gnome can lift 450lbs over his head or 262.5lbs normally.
If we are going to play this game, you might not like the way it ends. ;P

If I was struggling, I think it'd be a reposition combat maneuver and I'd get an attack of opportunity. Mrachni, you should be glad the gnome likes you. ;)
Zatqualmie Fire-Top
How d'ya figure? Small creature with a strength of 14 can lift 131.25 pounds... with 18 strength you can lift a max of 225 pounds. ;)
You are right, I was thinking lift off ground, not over head.
Mrachni
So... yeah. If you hug me while you're in a rage, you can lift me off the ground and stagger around. For some reason, I'm not terribly concerned about that (unless you decide to drop me off a cliff, I suppose... but then I'm pretty sure I'd object to that).
