Lay on Hands as a swift action to heal one point of damage from Barundar and use the mercy to remove Fatigued.

Barundar quickly places a hand on his chest, a brief flash of light encompassing him after which he seems suddenly rested, no longer feeling the tiredness of a moment ago, then takes another couple of swings at Purple, hoping to put the thing down and let the others concern themselves with more important foes.

"Vic, Barundar can take care of the loner here, help me get the casters." Konny asks the warrior woman and, not waiting for an answer, moves quickly inside the second room.

He dances nimbly around one of the ghouls to get behind them...

Figures that the threat would come on the lower attack roll and that the confirmation would be low enough that no amount of boosting would make it a hit. Blarg. That was my first threat this entire campaign, too, I think.

3 silver holy symbols of Kabiri, a pouch of powdered silver, a key, three vials of unholy water

Perception DC 15:
A locked strongbox lay in the corner near what you surmise was Nulkineth's bed...on the bed lay several pieces of tanned "leather" which looks suspiciously like humanoid skin. Disable Device DC 20 to open the box.

The Book that Nulkineth was reading:
A prayer book to Kabiri, demon lord of Ghouls and cannibalism. It is written is abyssal and has copious handwritten notes praising a being known as Maugla, a drawing and detailed description indicate that this being is a high ranking demon who comes to this location to collect tribute in the form of humanoids to feed upon. Kn:Planes will identify more information about Maugla.

Victrix's rage still envelops her when Brighton heals her of some of her wounds.

Konny's quip helps calm her down somewhat. "Yeah... *pant* *pant*"

She wanders back into the other room and picks up her greatsword. She then channels her mace's power of rejuvenation, feeling her fatigue leave her.

My new abilities tell me it is magical, but I am afraid they are not good enough to tell me how exactly. And uncle Anvil always said, never don anything unless you check it for fleas and curses first. I do like it, am not afraid of fleas - but curses, that is another matter entirely..." Konny says as he inspects the contents of the box.
"Oh, and there are some other items here, a magical dagger and a pennon with a symbol of unknown noble house. Unknown to me, at least."

As Belledonna has not been able to identify the chain shirt, Konny decided to have a closer look himself.

Barundar clears his throat, looking to Konny, and speaks slowly. "Ah know mah accent is thick from mah raising; ah will have a go to speak mair clearly. Are there mair enemies tae fight 'ere? Thay must know we are 'ere now if there ur, wi' all th' racket. If nae, I'd like to stairt cleaning th' temple. Ah dinnae want to leave a temple tae holy Torag in this sacrilegious state."

"Looks like this chain shirt could come in handy. Everyone ok with me keeping it?" Konny asks.
Then he turns to Barundar. "Thank you. As I said, we should at least briefly search all the rooms before we start any cleaning here."

Barundar gives a curt nod in response to Konny, then huffs out a breath as he looks around the room. The other dwarf was right, of course. A cursory glance at the gear they had amassed revealed nothing of particular importance to Barundar, so he waves his hand at the otherwise-tempting pile of enchanted goodies.

Contemplating the other's words, Belledonna once more summons eldrich energies of perception, focusing them upon the chamber beyond that which the Ghouls occupied.

Swift action: expend one Mythic Power to cast Clairvoyance, focal point 5' beyond the door on the other side of D5.

Three stone tables stand in this room, and their wooden benches lie broken and half- rotten a round them . Leather straps with restraints stretch a cross their surface, buckled tightly in place. Several wicked looking instruments lay on a stool. Nearby, a knotted rope descends through a tiny hole in the ceiling.

The ripe stench of decay chokes the air of this room, emanating from the bodies of two deceased soldiers hanging from the rafters. Various cabinets and tables stand a round a fireplace in the south wall, and doors lead east, west, and north.

The imminent sadness that Barundar feels as they move forward is nearly overwhelming. Seeing the bodies hanging from the rafters, the death and decay all around them filling the temple of his god...for once, the burly dwarf seems almost overcome. He is, at once, saddened by the sight of it and enraged at the demons who would desecrate such a site as this. Before they move on to the next area, he offers to use his ability to discern the presence of evil before them to try and establish anything that might be beyond the door.

I haven't used Detect Evil once in this entire game...sheesh. What kind of Paladin am I?

Konny pays attention to every detail in the rooms. He is also trying to discern any sounds coming from the rest of the building.

As they leave the room where he fought the clerics he asks Barundar. "This being a chapel to Torag, do you know what the rope coming through the ceiling is for?"

Victrix is quiet as she follows Konny, her greatsword ready for trouble.

Konny moves into the first room. D5 Barundar follows and cuts down the corpses tied to the ceiling. Vic and Belle follow suit.

Konny enters the second room D4 and he notices that the rope leads up to a belltower that was once used to call the faithful of Torag to prayer.

Konny finally scouts the last room of the Chapel. The vaulted ceiling of this massive sanctuary reaches nearly thirty
feet overhead. Smashed stained-glass windows stretch in narrow
bands above the doors. Four angelic statues occupy each corner
of the room, though their faces and wings are cracked and broken
almost beyond recognition. The walls are covered with disturbing shapes and runes that have been scratched into the stone. An
altar, befouled with grime and filth, sits against the southern wall.
It is from this room that the powerful Desecration spell emanates. Brighton offers to dispel this and reconsecrate the chapel to Torag once the place is cleansed.

Nodding in agreement with Brighton's words, Belledonna once more calls a brace of household spirits up to aid in the Temple's cleansing.

Expend two Mythic Power to cast two Unseen Servants to help clean. Once she has done that & directed them, she also casts Prestidigitation as needed to speed the cleaning along.

Victrix nods. "Go fer it, Broighton."

Once Belledonna summons her spirit servants, Victrix sets her greatsword on her back and begins tidying up the place alongside them.

If there is significance to the rope from the ceiling, would I need to roll for it, or would Barundar just know since he worships Torag?

Barundar nods, also expressing his encouragement to Brighton. He seems particularly eager to have the desecration of the temple removed.

@ Barundar It's just a bell to summon worshippers to prayer. Wanna ring it?
Cleaning the chapel proper will take a while, hours in fact. So I'll just handwave that part as the unseen servants do their thing and Brighton casts Consecrate using Terendelevs Scale. Konny slips outside to the stable and finds a jumble of weapons, a few of them aren't damaged like the others. It seems that the ghouls dumped the bodies/bones in the old stable along with whatever gear the crusader happened to have on them. I'll assume that Konny studies the items for a while, taking 20.

Konny Finds:

Victrix and Barundar begin to dispose of the ghoul corpses by piling them up outside the chapel and setting fire to them.

While cleaning the chapel proper, Belledonna makes a discovery, a cache of Cure Light Wounds potions, dozens of them. Enough to equip an army in fact. The healing potions will give your army's 3 uses of Healing potions resource.

After some time, a few hours, the party hears sounds from overhead...something is coming. Kn:Planes or Perception for a little more information, describe what you are doing, where you are in the Temple

If we are sure we've already cleared out the temple, then yes, Barundar wants to ring the bell. His thinking is that maybe any crusaders in the area will hear it and extrapolate that the temple has become safe again since it's doubtful that the demons would've concerned themselves with the thing. If there might still be bad guys in it, he waits until there aren't. No need to paint a big bullseye on the party as low on resources as we are.

If we finish cleaning out the sanctuary before we hear the sound, Barundar will next move to the stables to start cleaning out the bodies from them.

After searching the building, taking some of the potions (and drinking enough of them to be fully healed again), Konny rests in the courtyard. He also changes into the new enchanted chain shirt.

"Desna weeps, not again so soon..." he says as he hears something approach.

Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27
Knowledge(planes): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

"Incoming! As we are deep in the enemy territory, it is best to be prepared for the worst." he says loudly enough for the rest of the team to hear.

Arcane Spell Failure: 1d100 ⇒ 18

He tries to cast Shield again, but his armor prevents his movements from being accurate enough and the spell fails.

Konny spots something flying above the chapel. He knows that the creature is a demon of an advanced type. However, he cannot identify it in particular.
