ugg nothing like being in a corner

Frustrated with the lack of room, Jarreck drops the rifle as he dives into a roll between the two attackers coming up with sword in hand swinging at blue. Hoping to pick up some benefit from the croc drawing the creatures attention.

I can't do anything, there is no line of sight round the corner. Feels a bit silly really since a crocodile is long and thin. We ought to be able to stand along side it.

Mort moves up to south of Jarreck, bypassing the crocodile with a soft "Scuse me."

He then begins casting a spell and multiple vines and small plants, coated in slime that itches and gives a nasty rash, rise up from the ground and wrap themselves around all the enemies in the room.

Casting Sickening Entanglement at the intersection north-west of the top left barrel marked with an x. It should catch every enemy except for the green one and the purple smiler. Works like Entangle, but need to make Fort Save DC 15 or be sickened for 1d4 rounds and a Ref Save DC 14 or be entangled.

I'm think Mark 5 Dermal Plating and Mark III wirejack tendons to be a good thing right now, just short a few hundred thousand gp :-) I know Niles says a +1 or 2 here and there doesn't make a huge difference , but dang if he hasn't been rolling well on attacks against me

I was just asking you if there was any plant life inside the area Niles. I assumed yes as you didn't say no.

I guess Mort will cast Produce Flame instead and help out Jarreck in the front.

Seventeen analyses the situation, 'They are in the way. The crocadile is too big and has become a liability. Time to test a theory. It should be possible to hit swap the summon.'

She focuses and chants several arcane words, "Globus, lucem illam voco!"

She spends 3 arcane reservoir points and summons a Lantern Archon which replaces the croc.

Suddenly the crocodile vanishes with a loud pop and a whisp of smoke! Flying above and behind Jarreck is a floating ball of light which buzzes like a hive of angry bees. Rays of seating light lance out to strike Jarreck's target!

I've backed out of the doorway a couple of times but there has never been room for it to move forward due to the size - 4 squares - since the door has opened.
If Mort or Omo could hit me with the wand or hypo gun it would be great but at 4 HP standing in the LOS of 5-6 bad guys seems like a bad idea. That was Jarreck reasoning for stepping back to 'catch' his breath

Seventeen moves under the flying mote of angry light, and her eyes momentarily blaze with an arcane blue fire as she intones spidery phrases an mimes digging with a miniature toy shovel. The shovel vanishes with a pop at the very same time as a 30' deep hole appears in the middle of the room!

Seventeen casts a Create Pit spell underneath the two enemies in the middle of the room. DC 20 reflex save. 10gp deducted for material component.

The lantern archon, buzzing like a hive of angry bees, flies into the room and hovers over the pit. It begins blasting the unfortunate creatures with rays of searing light.

Frustrated at being in the wrong spot pretty much throughout this encounter Jarreck bellows with rage seeing Mort go down and Omo attacked. Pushing past the archon once more he dives into a role past the smiler, tries to bring his sword to bear on the hobgoblin in front of him.
