@Nel: Er, just trying to save your character, um, are you sure about what Kressle does? I mean, I get that she has Quickdraw, but those two attacks at +6 each...? Can't be Cleave, can't be TWF, can't be BAB 6/1 - just wondering how she does it... (And starting to think this "6 player balancing" stuff is a bit much.)
But of course, you're our GM, and it's your character you're killing, so...
But I still hope someone gets over in time to stabilize him. DC 15 Heal check sounds a bit nicer than the DC 23 fort save Norn has to make...

And we're a party of 4 now, plus 1 npc. and we have no cleric. and our only character with any healing magic is the one that's down. sure would be a great time for a cleric to come wandering through the woods...

To be fair we will say she only hit me once then, with the crit axe. so im at only -5 or so.
and the not smiting was my fault. It didn't feel right to kill the main villain with the GM npc person... maybe I should have!

What would it do to Kaeso's psyche I wonder, if the gods were deaf to his pleas, but after one night with Drispeera he started rolling 20's? Not that there are guarantees mind you. But Bingo's sneaking *appears* to have become more proficient.
I have also submitted my vote to DM Nel. I also considered a later applicant Hermia.

sorry about the long encounter. Thankfully those are few and far between in Kingmaker. I have a few ideas to streamline them a bit more in the future as well.
Oh, don't worry. If we improve our tactical cooperation a bit, we will be faster next time.
By the way, if I'm posting too quickly, let me know. My real life situation lets me check and post pretty often, most days. I don't mean to rush everyone.

Nah, I'm totally psyched about it. I love that we post a lot here. I'm in another PbP, we're in combat, and we've got two guys that only post once a week. AArrrgh!
We should give time for players who post with decent frequency to get their actions in, though. Otherwise uber-frequent posters make assumptions about what everyone else is doing. And we might end up back tracking when, for example, Drispeera says... Yeah, but I didn't do any of that, I didn't have that discussion with you, because I was doing something else completely way over there.... ;)
And bingo's 2nd healing potion dropped to the ground, btw, because Drispeera, still injured, was making a beeline back to the campsite.

Yeah, I know. It's still the same if you can't see the light at all like if he is crazy far away. Survival was what they needed to find the dude in the forest since he had a head start. Once Kaeso found him though, it would be hard to hide. Didnt need to though, since he one-shotted him. (he hit something for once!)
