Well, minus the dogs and the chantry-stuff.


Also less demons more fey I think, not certain though, its been a few years since I bought the APs :P

Yeah, this one sounds fey-tastic. (see what I did there) At least compared to any other AP.

Well I posted a question that kinda needs a response from GM Skull. I can't really go forward without one. I'm trying to remember if he said he's slower to post on weekends. DM Skull... yoo hoo, come back, we miss you....

From my experience, most PbP games don't see much activity on weekends. I've learned that weekend posting is an exception, not generally a rule.


Yeah I understand that, I'm just asking becase our GMs last post was Thursday my time and its now Tuesday (Very early morning) my time. Not angry or anything like that, just eager to game, I've wanted to play in a Kingmaker game for a while :)

Well, here is my suggestion.

Since we started the PBP, I have been asked to GM a face to face Kingmaker Campaign for my friends locally. Even though I am very good at not metagaming with knowledge from the campaign, since I have had to read the first books now, it is always a bit awkward and I'd have to contribute much less to not spoil anything. I have already read the first 2 books actually, so I'd have no trouble diving in right now and getting us going.

So my suggestion is, I can run as the GM for now, at least until we hear back from Skull. You never know, maybe he had a pretty bad personal life event and needs to step back for a few weeks. It happens. If he wants to come back and re-take the reins, then he can choose to either leave Norn on the sidelines and run with you five, or he can ping me back in, his choice.

This would let us continue with this cast, which I do like as well, and maybe we hear from Skull eventually.

What does everyone think?

So I think I'll be going Abadarian with this priest, apparently I have a thing for neutrallity at the moment. Anyway, I'll update my character sheet tomorrow to reflect the change, I'll probably also update the description to reflect his new allegiances.


MMmmm I love me some Abadar. And I think he would be ok for Kingmaker. I think he has some decently sized following here. Not Erastil levels, but good presence.


I was attracted to the idea of bringing civilization to the stolen lands and nurturing the kingdom I believe we start growing at a later point.


Oh, and for you all, I do tend to be a compulsive poster, so please do ask me to slow down if I'm progressing the story too fast. I don't expect anyone to post more than 1/day on weekdays. But I know a few of us do. Please do ask me to hold back a bit if you want more chances to participate.

I'm back, too, and glad we're continuing.

I usually check the forum multiple times a day, actually did on Monday, but some hours before Norn's posting (I'm in GMT+1 ^^), and didn't have time on Tuesday, as I was on the road and at a concert. Bad timing, as usual. ;)

That said... As it totally suits our campaign theme:

I like the discussion going on in the gameplay thread. Looks like everyone is in support of the surprise attack in some way atm. Still, I'll give you all a RL day or two to finish up any preparations etc... before we go to the next morning in-game.

I got a question regarding the map that I'll post here as to not clog the gameplay thread with stuff like that:

Would it be possible to place the cart under the walkway right next to the gate...? Maybe even between A2 and the palisade (probably depends on wether the walkway is just fixed to the palisade or got its own supporting balks, but I thought it was worth asking)...?

Then maybe we could close half the gate, and then push/pull the cart to block the other half, as a rolling gate if you want, if that is faster than closing one of the massive wings?

Oh, and btw... Can we put the tax-furs further to A4 to encourage all the thugs to come in?


Sure, cart is movable.

You can re-pile the furs to A4, but it will take probably the rest of the afternoon to do so if the whole group helps. It took Oleg a few days to pile them here.

Also Oleg mentions that the bandits had demanded them be piled in the courtyard 2 months before.

Alright. If those furs are so much of a burden, I suppose we just wait until the bandits are over their carrying capacity and got their hands full before we clubber them unconscious.

I shall be up in the tower until they arrive (B16). And before they enter the gate I will move along the walkway to get the best angle for my spell (I15).

Drispeera tosses a healing potion to Kaeso with a wink. Since you asked so nicely. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to rest.

Drispeera will activate Wind Barrier as bandits approach. +4 AC for 1 hour.

Whoops. Wind Barrier=Mage Armor (I have another character thats an oracle, and I got confused.) Effect is the same +4 AC for one hour. (18 AC)
