Supercharge Weapon:
"You supercharge the target weapon. If the weapon’s next attack hits (provided it is made before the end of the next round), the attack deals 4d6 additional damage if the weapon is a single target attack or 2d6 additional damage if the weapon attacks all creatures in an area. This bonus damage is of the same type as the weapon’s normal damage."

I don't see anything requiring it to be a tech weapon. Basically you give it the extra 'oomph' that does the damage. Still, really looking forward to enjoying the 4d6 damage. Probably finish any threat off with that much extra damage at level 1!

Of course, having just tried playing Destiny 2... I see supercharge and I want to fling a black hole at someone.

From a game where I am playing a technomancer with a bombard soldier I started thinking about the wonders of comboing supercharge weapon with sticky bombs (I can't remember the real name but you get the idea). Normally you do no damage and just entangle people... now you do more damage than a frag grenade at this level and entangle people.

Does the sticky grenade have a damage type? Cause if it has no damage type (because it does no damage) then the supercharge does 2d6... of no damage type... which tells me that you couldn't supercharge weapons that don't do damage, but probably needs errata to clarify.

But seriously though, supercharge me some frag grenades and lets clear a room!


Just to advise, Kneeling/Crouching is a condition that I have created (so it might be a little rough/unbalanced), because who doesn't like crouching behind pillars shooting at their enemies? :)

Kneeling/Crouching
You have lowered your body to reduce your profile against ranged attacks. You take a -2 penalty to melee attack rolls. You gain a +2 to your AC against ranged attacks but a -2 penalty to your AC against melee attacks. You also take a -4 penalty to your KAC against the Bull Rush, Grapple, Reposition, and Trip combat manoeuvres. Standing up from kneeling/crouching is a swift action.

Like with dropping prone, you can drop to one knee/crouch as a swift action, and you can move at double movement cost while crouching as opposed to crawling 5 ft. while prone.

Effectively I've taken the prone condition, halved it (since you're not flat bellied to the ground), and added in a balance in that it is easier to use certain combat manoeuvers against you due to your impacted range of movement. Let me know what you think and if there's any tweaks to be made to these rules.

It seems my toggle-able stellar mote and my attunement class features are difficult for others to keep track of. Should I adjust my stat bar to include both totals and have an attunement tracker?


Apologies for missing that - with all the issues the website has been having, I'd come to rely a little more heavily on the status bars of characters for vital information than I normally would. I'll get a small retcon in place as soon as possible.

Going forward if people can update their status bars with what conditions/abilities/spells they are affected by, it would be greatly appreciated. Any modified stats - AC, temp HP, saves, etc - can be put in parentheses after their normal stat. For example, KAC 16 (17) for Herald while stellar armour is active.

Hey all - just a bit of a word for over the next few days to let you know that I'll still be around to keep the games moving along, but if you guys go silent between now and the 28th, then that's no worry. I'm expecting that the games will have a bit of a reduced posting rate for the next few days thanks to the holiday season. So no dramas at all :)

Yeah you did great! Adding the new races is a good idea. I'll try to be active since I'm not a hardcore adherent to big holiday hooplah.

Are we still good to go on? It's been almost a month since Cree and Herald have posted, and we've been interrogating Ferani for longer than that. Just wanted to see whether we need to take a break or something.


I’m good to keep the game going if you guys are still interested in keeping involved. If Cree and Herald have disappeared from the game I’ll look into recruiting more people.

I am sorry for not being the most on-the-ball GM around. I haven’t forgotten about the game, but sometimes my headspace gets a bit full and it takes longer than I’d like to clear through the crud in it to get on top of posting. I will try to do better going forward.
