The scenarios we're allowing GMs to pick from for PF1 are more limited in scope than usual in order to fit with the general theme but there are still basically all of the PF1 quests and modules to select from, as well as all of Season 10.
I believe that SFS and PF2 are wide open in terms of what GMs can select from to run.
I'll be running something but I'm as-yet-undecided on what.
I also have official word that pre-mustered or even mostly pre-mustered groups for OutPost are a no-go. So be quick on the draw when player sign-ups open if there's a specific table you want to play at.
I'm guessing Siege of Gallowspire? That's the PF1 special; Fate of the Scoured God is the SFS special that'll be offered. PF2 hasn't been out long enough to have a special yet :)
I'll probably keep my player plate light and just play in the Special. I'd really like to play Corona (7th) for Siege of Gallowspire since I've got a history of playing specials with her (Blood Under Absalom + all 4 Solstice Scars) even though my -01 cleric is actually one level higher than she is (8th).

It's the 15th here in Singapore. I didn't have time to post yesterday cause I spent the day with my GF here. Sleeping in, hotel breakfast buffet, some Valentine's shopping, dinner at the Singapore Botanical Gardens restaurant, and drinks back at the hotel bar overlooking the water.
But, on a note related to hand washing and virus protection. The citizenry of Hong Kong and Singapore are handling the Wu-Flu very differently. Although the number of cases in each city are roughly the same (last I saw), in HK everyone(!) is wearing a mask. The only exceptions are when exercising and the occasional Caucasian foreigner that didn't bring one with them. Of course HK is completely sold out of masks, with long lines forming at stores in the early mornings on the rumor or chance of them having restocks. If you're not wearing a mask people give you dirty looks and avoid contact.
In Singapore, OTOH, the vast majority of the populace is not wearing masks. Those that do are mainly the ethnic Chinese. But the city was having trouble with taxis and Grab (Asian version of Uber) drivers refusing to pick up or accept rides to or near hospitals. Meaning the staff can't get to and from work in many cases, especially in the wee hours when transit isn't running. The Interior Minister had to put out a statement forbidding them from refusing those rides. Many people will don a mask when riding in a taxi or Grab cause they don't know who the last passengers might have been. Many knowledge workers are simply working from home, too, so transit, malls, etc are much less crowded.
Interesting. I admit that I'd been wondering if the whole Wu-Flu thing was having much (or any) effect on your employer and the usual jobs you guys have.
I'm glad that everyone had (is having) a good Valentine's Day! No special happenings here since I'm working tonight but then again it's an occasion neither one of us feel super strongly about anyway so it varies from year to year on whether we celebrate or not.
It's a bit early but since we've been making (what I think is) fair progress through the scenario considering everyone's posting availability and habits, I'd like to go ahead and start figuring out what our next scenario will be so that I can start doing some prep work now.
If I remember correctly, once the chronicles for Tome are applied everyone will be, at minimum, 5th level and no higher than 7th/8th even after GM chronicles are accounted for. This opens up a few new options for us, assuming everyone's been keeping up with their PFS Session Tracker info:

There's also now the option to replay scenarios using those Paizo-generated replays that happened late last year, so if someone has a scenario they'd like to spend a replay on then we can certainly look at that and see if it's feasible. As to how to use the replays? Um...it's basically honor system; you tell me you're using one and I'll document it on the chronicle in question.
^Heh, nice. And no worries, it can be easy to forget about updating the tracker sometimes.
Oh and 'no preference' is just as viable an option as any. If folks have no preference then I'll just pick whatever strikes my fancy. Really, I probably ought to run you guys through Halflight Path just to take advantage of the fact that it's an evergreen and to squeeze in one more 3-7 before folks start to level out of that tier range.
After that, my personal pick would be Corpses in Kalsgard because it's one I've actually played *and* rather enjoyed. I was really tempted to offer that as a second game during the upcoming Outpost but got talked out of it, which is probably for the best...

That said, I'll need to actually buy it and read it, but based on the reviews I really want to try running The House on Hook Street eventually. Maybe something I can fire up this summer after Outpost and PaizoCon (I'll be at PaizoCon this year!) are done, for those of you that would be interested and have the time?

Updated my PFS Tracker.
I've played #10-19 Corpses in Kalsgard, and I've also GMed it a couple of times. I'd prefer we selected one of the other options.
If we choose #10-14 Debt to the Quah, I'd like to be able to play Skye, Shaman of the Lyrune Quah. He's level-6. Some of you have met him before.
I've never played nor GMed #6-17 Fires of Karamoss or #10-11 Hao Jin Hierophant, either.
Alrighty, since most of you don't have any preference we'll go with #10-14 Debt to the Quah as our next scenario once we're finished with Tome. If you want to keep playing your current character for that one, that's fine, and if you want to bring in a character that might have a special interest in the mission - such as Laz swapping out for Skye - that's also fine.
Since it's not going to change the outcome of Jan's actions - or the ooze's - I'm fine with assuming that Jan would've moved a bit further to give Serge room to get in there right away.
Regarding the AoO, I was (admittedly) a little surprised to see that there's some disagreement on whether a creature who acts in the Surprise Round is FF or not until their turn comes up in Round 1.
Flat-Footed: At the start of a battle, before you have had a chance to act (specifically, before your first regular turn in the initiative order), you are flat-footed. You can’t use your Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) while flat-footed. Barbarians and rogues of high enough level have the uncanny dodge extraordinary ability, which means that they cannot be caught flat-footed. Characters with uncanny dodge retain their Dexterity bonus to their AC and can make attacks of opportunity before they have acted in the first round of combat. A flat-footed character can’t make attacks of opportunity, unless he has the Combat Reflexes feat.
The bolded part above seems to be the sticking point since a surprise round isn't a 'regular turn'. That said...it really doesn't make sense to me for a creature to act in a Surprise Round (whether monster or PC) but then is somehow flat-footed until their first turn comes up on Round 1. The AoO stands this time but I'm happy to entertain reasoning to the contrary and would be willing to change my ruling for the future depending on said reasoning.

I've always treated the Surprise Round that way, too. If you can act in the Surprise Round, then once it's your turn, you're no longer flat-footed. If you haven't yet acted, then you're still flat-footed.
I expect there's something somewhere that makes that clearer, but I can't recall it off the top of my head.
Sorta! It was a Deathtrap Ooze and hopefully I ran it correctly since that was my first time using one as a monster.

I'll be GMing the subtier 15-16 table of PFS Special #10-98: Siege of Gallowspire (soldier - not champion - mode).
I'm not sure when sign-ups will open, but I hope some of you will join my table.
Subtier 15-16!? Yowza! I sadly don't have any characters remotely close to those levels but thank you for checking. I hope you end up with a good table and that everyone, including you, have fun with it!
As far as sign-ups go, those who are GMing for Outpost get early access to sign up starting Monday, February 24th and general player sign-ups open a week later on Monday, March 2nd.
In other news, finally working on an update for you guys now. Thank you for your patience.
I really must devote some time to learning Tien. Perhaps after this mission.
Clearly your GM needs to try and see if there are any higher-level scenarios she can eventually run for you guys that take place in Tian Xia :)

What makes that even more hilarious is that I'm pretty straightedge by nature/personality and always have been.
It went fine, though. Weirdest part of training is just...having someone else with me in the first place. I'm used to working by myself on nights.
In other news, yesterday was largely a 'catch up on sleep day' and today was another painting day, hence the delay in posting on my end. Working on rectifying that right now~
(And if you're wondering why I'm still painting after 3 months in the new house, this is what happens when you end up with only two weeks to get your crap into the new place and you end up moving the weekend before Thanksgiving. We just said, "Screw it, we'll do this stuff after the holidays.")
No, that was what the previous owners did - albeit on a small scale. I'm still finding random things in the back corners of cabinets and forgotten toys (for children and dogs) scattered around the yard.
In other news, posts finally up. Felt fine yesterday but could not, for the life of me, manage to concentrate on writing posts for some reason. I'd been considering the possibility of maybe running a second table for Outpost after all but perhaps I should take yesterday as a sign that I'm risking flying too close to the sun again with those sorts of thoughts :\
*edit* I know I probably sound pretty wishywashy about bandwidth and running games/playing in games and all but it's incredibly frustrating sometimes; I want to be more active and involved but the meat suit that I roll around in seems to often have other ideas.
