Just to clarify, I think Anara should do most of the talking for the sisters as a group, both because that seems more logical for their relationship and skills/personalities and because I have another character already, but it is not really copasetic to post actual dialogue or actions as another PC.

Ok, I think I got what you mean now, sorry, I must have misunderstood when we talked last. So for the example of the last post from Anara I was fine to have the sisters watching the hall together but skip doing both sides of any dialog?

Would you rather I skip the dialog altogether or just let you take care of Shars side of it?

It's important to me to setup the sisters relationship and Anaras personality early on so let me know if I overdue it :)

Sorry guys, I feel like were (Im) a little disjointed.

We were wrapping up at the door, that we aren't opening, and making ready to head down the hall.

Then we got room details as if we had members in there so I had the sisters watching the hall. Technically, no marching order, no walking and no door opening. All of which, in this specific case, seem irrelevant.

Now Fenra is responding to Draevens outlash from before we 'walked' down the hall.

Obviously people want and need to respond but do we need some kind of "situational realignment"?

Sometimes people have posted before others and things happen a bit out of order. Just post what you want and it may be a little out of order but everyone gets the jist. If you want to have an actual conversation you may have to wait for the other person to post.

When in combat, however, only post in the initiative order and wait for the person ahead of you in initiative to post so those actions are resolved correctly.

I've updated the Campaign tab to include the changes to HP recovery. Please update your characters (spells & HP) for the remaining encounter. With everyone refreshed, I'd like to play test the HP changes, it shouldn't be too rough with everyone at 100%! Afterwards, I'll get everyone leveled up to 7th as this will end Part 2 of the AP!

The party did rest/sleep leaving the statues to guard. It was a little confusing as there was a conversation going on with Skygni prior to resting that got combined with speaking with Ulf in the morning.

Yes. You can still try to use it but could fail and possibly suffer a mishap.

Activate the Spell: Activating a scroll requires reading the spell from the scroll. The character must be able to see and read the writing on the scroll. If she fails, she must make a DC 5 Wisdom check to avoid a scroll mishap. A natural roll of 1 always fails, whatever the modifiers. Activating a scroll is a standard action (or the spell’s casting time, whichever is longer) and it provokes attacks of opportunity exactly as casting a spell does. If the caster level check fails but no mishap occurs, the scroll is not expended.

Determine Effect: A spell successfully activated from a scroll works exactly like a spell prepared and cast the normal way. Assume the scroll spell’s caster level is always the minimum level required to cast the spell for the character who scribed the scroll, unless the scriber specifically desired otherwise.

The writing for an activated spell disappears from the scroll as the spell is cast.

Scroll Mishaps: When a mishap occurs, the spell on the scroll has a reversed or harmful effect. Possible mishaps are given below.

-A surge of uncontrolled magical energy deals 1d6 points of damage per spell level to the scroll user.
-Spell strikes the scroll user or an ally instead of the intended target, or a random target nearby if the scroll user was the intended recipient.
-Spell takes effect at some random location within spell range.
-Spell’s effect on the target is contrary to the spell’s normal effect.
-The scroll user suffers some minor but bizarre effect related to the spell in some way. Most such effects should last only as long as the original spell’s duration, or 2d10 minutes for instantaneous spells.
-Some innocuous item or items appear in the spell’s area.
-Spell has delayed effect. Sometime within the next 1d12 hours, the spell activates. If the scroll user was the intended recipient, the spell takes effect normally. If the user was not the intended recipient, the spell goes off in the general direction of the original recipient or target, up to the spell’s maximum range, if the target has moved away.

Fenra also has a ring of counterspells which may not be the most useful for her now that she has the ring of freedom of movement. Unless someone else is casting spells into it. Otherwise I don't have many spells that would make sense to cast into it. Hold person makes the most sense but I don't need it with the other ring. If someone else wants the counterspells ring I could charge it with hold person.

Also Fenra likes to keep a portion of her share of gold in gems and other pretty things so when you know how much "gold" each of us gets I will buy something really good and/or exchange it for some of the other treasure.

I just assumed we couldn't sell a boatload of expensive exotic swords and ninja pajamas to a bunch of Vikings, and that we could sell just them in Minkai. Kind of like we can't sell wizardly things because of "Baba Yaga".

Boots of the Winterlands to Sharadei? Rennyn has magical boots and is protected by endure elements from the katana. Draeven has endure elements (cold) as well from barbarian. No tracks isn't super important but the movement is pretty nice. Draeven could use that to get around but has decent Acrobatics anyhow.

Sharadei good with the +1 chain shirt?

Draeven isn't super interested in Frost Giver.

The +3 studded leather only adds +1 to Draeven so give it to Sharadei who will see +2 from it?

We will have to look at wealth distribution. Seems like a lot of the claimed treasure is going to Anara and Sharadei.

Draeven is also carrying "Dancing Wasp" that will likely never be used by anyone. It is worth 12,392 gp.

Anything I have missed? Should we sell "Oathtaker"? What about the Hat of Disguise? It hasn't really been effective at all. Probably even less so above the arctic circle. :P

Once we finalize the loot, we should do a wealth comparison and see where each character is at. I think we are going to have each character declare one item each that is exempt from this calculation as we have a few high value items that will throw things out of whack otherwise. Ie Suishen and the Ring of Freedom of Movement. We want to keep the wealth gap within the party to a minumum.

We should also divide the spoils into 6 shares. One for each character and one for party (consumable) purchases.

I'll definately take the helmet but the staff is arcane and I'm not, it's also a level above me. Can I recharge it if I take magic missle? At least that's what I got from reading about it.

My understanding is as long as you have access to those spells, you may cast them into the staff to recharge it. It is one of those items you charge during downtimes, handy for when on the job.

Oathtaker might be a necessary item. We may need its abilities at some point. Hat of disguise- it's not a really expensive item and may come in handy at some point, might as well keep it.

I would agree with keeping both for now as well, I dont think were hurting for the money.

Regarding the staff, take magic misiles to charge the staff and I can use either imbued spell from the staff as long as it has the required charges.

I think I will need to level the NPCs up at some point. They are all currently stuck at level 4 and will remain that way until the end as the AP does not provide insight. I presume this is done to allow the GM freedom to adapt to the needs of the players. As I warm up HL, are there any suggestions you'd like the NPCs to consider?

Well I was looking at their stat sheets online but I don't know if they are different for different APs as Pierre stated Shalelu doesn't have precise shot and the info I found said she does. If she doesn't have it on your info I would suggest she gets it, otherwise she's a semi-useless archer.

Pierre was drunk, doesn't know how to read a stat block, doesn't care to read the stat block or was lying. You decide. Her stat block shows she has Precise Shot. And she is 6th level both in JR and RotRL.

I can level them all up to 7th if you wish. (Ameiko, Shalelu, Sandru, Koya and Spivey?)

Probably doesn't care. That's best case scenario to keep his moral and intellectual statuses intact.

Sandru and Koya are 4th, Ameiko is 5th, based on internet. What I have read suggests keeping helpful/companion NPCs at a level below the Pcs, but the GM would know better what the needs would be.
