Medghar Relagh |

Medghar does not ... well, anymore anyway. He used to smoke a pipe but it nearly blew his face off one night while drinking when he accidentally spilled some of his black powder into his tobacco without realizing it... well, without realizing before trying to smoke some. And yes, Medghar might very well do nothing deliberately this round, transfixed by the beauty his flames had wrote upon the world. In fact...
Transfixed if over 50: 1d100 ⇒ 24 Nope, just waiting to see if his companions need help finishing it off and enjoying the show until then, ;)

Hemiantus of Erages |

Hemiantus adjusts his stance a bit and takes a swing at the burning golem while his familiar chirps at him from his pocket. Elven blade+familiar+flanking: 1d20 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 + 2 + 2 = 15,Slashing damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

The golem smoulders on the floor, its tower shields stubbornly refuse to crackle. The door to the south reveals a tight room with a small table loaded down with supplies, arranged into 5 neat piles. Each load has a small note attached, containing your names. This must be the supplies Roldare mentioned.
So, in the module as written, it has loot by class. Since you are all the same class, give me a sec to rewrite the loot.

GM Infinity +1 |
Chamber of sweet stuff
Along with the name, the notes identify the piles contents
Og: masterwork falchion and scroll of levitate
Hem: wand of true strike (10 charges) and scroll of embrace destiny
Medghar: masterwork pistol and scroll of pyrotechnics
Erald: wand of animate rope (10 charges) and scroll of web and magic mouth
William: Wand of Ray of Sickening (10 charges) and scroll of spectral hand

Medghar Relagh |

Think I could get a gunsmith's kit instead of the scroll? It would allow me to make black powder, solving the imminent "Out of ammo" crisis. Not to be greedy or anything, (whistles to himself) but given the thing only costs 15 gp that would be a major discount for the townsfolk.

Medghar Relagh |

Happy gnomish pyrodance....
Medghar finally stops staring at the wreckage of the golem, its embers glowing gently in the room. <Now THAT was an epic bonfire... too bad the shields didn't go up as well, but I guess they were.... shielded!> The gnome chuckles at the mental joke, then proceeds into the room.
"Sword for Og... wand for Erald... more wands for William and Hemiantus... scrolls... ooh, what is this now." Medghar finally comes to his own pile and note. "For me? Wow, now this is a quality firearm! And my own gunsmith kit! The master's confiscated my last one, I have been dying to replace it!" Looking toward William, he hastily adds, "Not literally though, Will old boy, don't get any ideas."

Erald Moral |

Casting detect magic Erald reviews the items passed to him with a grin, "Well not a clue what they are, but I look forward to finding out. Did anyone prepare read magic?"

Cool fight guys. Sorry I missed it. No connectivity to speak of then entire con. Spent last night with the wife since I had left her at home for a 4 day weekend and am catching up now. Oh, Og already has a masterwork Falchion and the town would certainly know that its his bonded weapon as he has to hold it to cast spells. He would rather have received wizard stuff...
Og looks at the key from the pool and the smoldering wood that at one time was a construct. <<But Key. Key likely turned off golem. I would have loved to have this golem at home. Now its charcoal... After they cool Og will try to free the tower shields looking them over with interest. He will also use his Infernal Healing spell to heal his 5 points of damage.

Hemiantus of Erages |

Hemiantus shrugs. <<Sorry, Og, I tried to use the key, but the damn thing was just too big of a threat.>>
He then carefully picks up the magic items that have been parceled to him and admires then.
<<Oh, and yes, Erald, I have read magic prepared should you ever need it.>>

Erald Moral |

Erald blinks, "Oh wait, they're gift wrapped... That is just weird. Animate rope, ugh, I hope they got a discount. Web's a great spell though, some time my Master uses it for children's birthdays and we, I mean they muck about in it. Magic Mouth has great comedic potential to. Thanks Hem, good to know especially if we find unlabelled loot later."

Og Booklover |

Gladly :) This looks like a nice place to rest too. Anyone want a tower shield? What could one do with total concealment? Hey, what about that arrow trap room?

Medghar Relagh |

Very awesome.
Medghar places the new gun reverentially on his hip. "A shame I will have to wait to try this girl out, but I can only attune weapons to me as I am preparing my spells. Tomorrow though we will hear her sing. I might even have the chance to fabricate more ammunition now, thanks to this," the gnome lovingly caresses the gunsmith's kit as he places it within his belt pouch.
"Where to now?"

Erald Moral |

Erlad shrugs, "Looks like we will need to brave the arrow room. Did anyone prepare mage hand? Arrows should weight less than 5lbs so I suggest we just pluck them out one at a time from distance, we can spare the time, but I like my innards to keep their in personally."

Og Booklover |

I do not have mage hand. But it seems to me that these shields might protect those under them from arrows from above. I would be willing to try out that theory. Og says as he hefts the shield.

GM Infinity +1 |
Og, entering the arrow trap chamber seems to trigger the trap. A volley of many arrows occurs roughly every 6 seconds. With the massive tower shield, and the circular nature of the chamber, it is quite easy to make it to the southern door with the wall of wood always between you. The blunted arrows feel like tiny fists striking your shield as you go. Basically you just do a single move and establish the tower shield wall each round until you reach the door
Giving the door a try reveals it is locked, however. DC 20 disable, DC 18 strength to burst it open. No take 10/20 since you still need to be mindful of the arrows

Og Booklover |

Loosing posts today. I posted this before but its not here. :(
Before returning Og tries the key he has from the water.
Also William can use the other tower shield. :)

Entering, a continuous carving of mourners runs along the walls here, leading to a staircase on the south side of the room.
GM: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Og: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
William: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Up ahead you see 4 pillars as the room opens up, and the faint sound of running water and light moaning. Additionally, everyone but Medghar sees blood pooling at the base of the pillars...

Erald Moral |

<They spoil us don't they?> Erald replies silenty,
"Do we have something to wedge this door open? One of the shields perhaps? I don't fancy drowning in blood."

GM Infinity +1 |
Og, as soon as you get near a pillar to investigate, 4 red skeletons dripping blood from the surface of their bones step from behind.
No surprise round

The two bloody skeletons in the front scrape at Og with this claws, flicking drops of blood into the air across the room.
Blue: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Green: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Luckily, his mage armor is still active and their claws bounce off of thin air, sparks of a purple light flash brilliantly as the skeletons hiss at their failure.

Medghar Relagh |

Medghar pulls out his old pistol and aims downrange at the yellow skeleton behind the green one. "Will, Og, snap out of it. Time to smash more skeletons!"
Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 2 + 1 = 18

<<Ach, skeletons again!>>
Hemiantus moves in, slicing at the nearest undead creature with his curved blade.
Elven slice: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 + 2 = 14Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Hem, your blade tears into the bloody bones, but you notice most of the damage came from the force of your blow alone, not the razor edge. DR 5/B
The skeleton in the back jangles forward and throws his claws at Og's head...

...Og seems disoriented but quickly regains his stamina as his orc blood boils within. Assuming you choose to use ferocity at this point...sorry you waited so long for this

Og Booklover |

Ouch! That is a lot from a claw and is a threat too. Oh wait, auto confirm. But I had forgotten to update his health after he cast Infernal Healing so at least he was at full.
Looking surprised as blood pours from the new and terrible wound Og counters red and steps 5' back.
Falchion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 232d4 + 6 ⇒ (3, 2) + 6 = 11
