Lyanif moves around the chair staying out of its reach and climbs up over the corner of the table drawing her punching dagger.
Not sure if that will leave me with enough time to attack. If not, then ignore the following:
Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 5 + 2 = 17
damage: 1d4 - 3 + 1d8 ⇒ (4) - 3 + (8) = 9

GM Harker |

Lyanif, if your BaB is higher than 0, then you can draw a weapon as part of a move action. Since yours is not yet higher than 0, you'll have to use another move action to draw your dagger.
Quiella takes out a hunk of red chair with her greatsword, but the object's hardness reduces the total damage done to it.
Lyanif moves around the black chair to flank with Valik, and then begins to ready an attack by drawing her punching dagger.
The red chair makes a vain attempt to penetrate Valik's defenses and misses. The black chair, however, goes after Lyanif and slams her hard into unconsciousness. Lyanif takes 14 damage from the critical hit.

"Lyanif! Don't fall yet!" Quiella swings at the chair again, then touches her own cheek to heal herself of the wounds she took from the rogue.

GM Harker |

If you have more than one potential target in your threat range, please let me know which one you're attacking. Thus far, I've been assuming the most damaged one.
Valik lands a solid hit on the black chair, but his blow lacks enough power to properly damage it.
T'kk'tck's eagles have a similar problem, as their claws and beaks strike the chairs, but do nothing to hurt them.
Quiella's oracle powers heal Lyanif back to consciousness at the expense of her own health, which it quickly made moot by laying a healing hand on herself. Then with a forceful attack, Quiella slices some cushions and wood off the red chair.
Lyanif can take a set of actions, although the window will probably be brief since we've been sitting on this round for a few days.

Ack, I just realized I'm prone :(
Cursing herself for jumping so carelessly into melee, Lyanif tries to protect herself as much as possible.
Using total defense

GM Harker |

Lyanif puts herself in a defensive posture to offset her prone state.
Apparently quite distracted by the summoned eagles, the chairs both attack them. The black chair slams its eagle target back to its plane of origin, while the red chair doesn't hit nearly hard enough to dismiss the bird attacking it. The eagle on red took 4 damage

Halkale, with cover penalties I'm afraid that does not confirm.
With almost perfect aim, Halkale's arrow shatters off more pieces of the black chair.
While healing Lyanif further through her life link, Quiella also participates in the slow destruction of the animated furniture as her greatsword smashes most of the back of the red chair.
Moadis, T'kk'tck, Valik, Lyanif.

GM Harker |

Yes, you do get a +1 bonus for higher ground when in melee.
Now severely damaged, the black chair's range of motion is much more restricted which causes it to miss Lyanif as she stands up.
Lyanif then retaliates with her punching dagger, hitting the chair but not overcoming its hardness.

Please forgive my brevity, but the website keeps eating my posts so now I just want to finish up the update.
I'll assume Moadis will attack the black chair since it's the most damaged.

The focused Valik turns his attention to the remaining chair and lands a solid, damaging hit.

T'kk'tck begins the long process of summoning his eidolon, while Halkale steps around him and fires an arrow at the chair that just barely misses due to the cover provided by his companions.
Still slightly injured, Lyanif chooses to hang back for a few moments while she assesses her next move.
The chair then turns its attention to Quiella, as it quickly slams her into its seat, grapples her with its wooden arms and begins to painfully constrict her. Quiella takes 12 damage all together. She takes 4 from the slam, then was grabbed, and finally was constricted in the grapple for 8 damage. She is still grappled.

Delaying a bit to see how things unfold

GM Harker |

Valik's sansetsukon nearly slips out of his grasp as he attempts another attack, forcing him to forfeit his strike in lieu of keeping the weapon in his hands.
Lyanif delays her action as she waits the combat situation to shift to a more advantageous tactical configuration.
Quiella also waits, probably hoping someone will destroy the chair that is currently crushing her.
Moadis is up! T'kk'tck is summoning his eidolon, while Lyanif and Quiella are delaying for the moment.

In the wreckage of both animated chairs you find an exquisitely carved jade amulet each probably worth a few hundred gold pieces.

Perhaps wasting little time before looking around the room, you find a helpful map identifying the contents of the cabinets in the room. The room map can be found here and also in the campaign info.
You'll probably want to start searching the files now. To gather the information Valsin requested you'll need two find two pieces of evidence. The first is a prisoner receipt document revealing Zarta's current location. The second is the evidence used to indict Zarta in criminal activities. You may need to find the prisoner receipt first before you'll be able locate the proper file containing the evidence.
To do this, please refer to the map link above and let me know which cabinets each of you are searching and make a Perception roll. It'll take several minutes to search a cabinet, more if you roll poorly, less if you roll well.

I put my eidolon on the map.
