"Rikket stay behind me, tell the others to come back!"Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 The tower is lit, this can't be good...Do I learn anything from that roll?
-Posted with Wayfinder

GM Fuzzfoot |

Not really, but... You can guess that a fire on a tower is probably meant to signal someone far away. You can also tell the at the moment, the wind is keeping the smoke from being too obvious, but that won't last for long.

GM Fuzzfoot |

Rikket runs in the fog, not able to see where he is going. You don't know if he is ignoring or trying to follow orders.
Snacks continues to eat rations, and asks for more.
We'll give Korvalis a bit more to decide his action for round 2, and Kamda and Charn can go ahead with round 3.
Round 3: (Bold may act)
Korvalis
Kamda
Icetooth Shaman (S) - 12 damage, unconscious and bleeding.
fire burns for 2 rounds.
Stinker (Grey)
Happyfeet (Purple)
Charn
Animal (Red)
Icetooth Goblins (I1-I4)
Stew (Blue)
Jazmine & Giggles
Vrothum
Snacks (Yellow)
Rikket (Green)
Cirri

![]() |

Sighing at the frustration of being relegated to "covering fire", Kamda looks to see if he can see any of the goblins on top of the towers.

GM Fuzzfoot |

You do not see any goblins on the top of the towers.

![]() |

Kamda hollers out
I ain't fer seein' no goblins ta be shootin'!! Methinks they're all gettin' ready ta skewer ye!!
Delay in case something attacks the goblins in melee.

![]() |

Animal stay in here and hide. Thanks for the warning Kamda!
Charn moves into the Tower and starts climbing the stairs or however one goes about getting up.
If there is no one in sight then he makes a second 25' move to climb the rest of the tower. If after his first move he can see a goblin then he pauses and will do something else depending on how close they are.

GM Fuzzfoot |

@Charn: There is 50-foot ladder rises from the ground of the tower to a wooden hatch leading to the roof. The hatch is open, and a goblin is looking down at you.
So, you can double move to the top, but provide an AoO to get out.

![]() |

Charn looks around the tower, seeing the ladder he rushes up it.
We need to get that fire out as soon as possible!
he'll climb the ladder and take the aoo on the nose.

GM Fuzzfoot |

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
The goblin does not manage to damage Charn or make him fall. Charn is on top of the tower.

![]() |

little confused. I thought giggles was going through the north tower with Korvalis, but her post makes it sound like she is in the south tower with Charn.
Korvalis kicks the door in and steps inside. If he sees a ladder like Charn that he think he can climb quickly in this round with fast movement of 40ft then he does so.

![]() |

I'm sorry he didn't specify south tower and I got yall confused..
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

Kamda delays still, waiting in case something comes after the goblins. I swear, this is his second scenario and he has not once used rage. The only kill he's landed is the Shaman he just took out. Worst. Barbarian. Ever.

GM Fuzzfoot |

OK, now I may be confused. My understanding is that everything has been happening in what I have been referring to the "north" tower (although now that I look at the map, apparently north is to the map-left). The map shows all icons on the map-upper tower, and the map-bottom tower has been untouched. The fire is burning at the top of the upper tower, which is where I thought Charn just climbed. The goblins on the bottom tower have disappeared (likely into the tower). Do we need to reset soemthing? Or is everyone ok with this?
@Kamda - Hang in there - we have plenty more for you to rage against!

![]() |

That's what I thought happened.
I'm with ya, Kamda. Cirri is currently babysitting. No melee quarterstaff action for her.

![]() |

I understood two of us were going to the North tower and two to the south tower. That's what Korvalis yelled for us to do at the beginning. That's the direction the tokens were moving last time I saw the map.
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

hi folks, i may be a source of the confusion. I was heading to the south tower (bottom of map). I changed my mind when we saw the shaman and more importantly the fire. Although i indicated that i was doing something different IC i didn't spell it out OOC - sorry!

![]() |

I still feel it's important to take the North tower... not sure what to do about that since I'm at the North tower already.
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

Definitely put out that fire. Bah, I finally have a chance to use Hydraulic Push on something and I don't prepare it today!

![]() |

ah whoops. I meant to say "south tower" in the first sentence of my last post. Isn't there a fire in both towers?
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

Yes, def need to take both towers. and i thought the fire was the priority. as i understood it from our dm the only fire was on the north, hence the change of direction... Maybe some of the speedy folk can shift over, or we pile in here kill the gobs and then shoot the ones on the other tower? Also vrothum was meant to be coming with us, not sure if he's a move behind, he might be able to reach the south quite quickly?

![]() |

I have 50 ft speed so I can double move to south tower no biggie and Kamda is with Cirri so we are good there."Rikket you keep the other gobs in line." Vrothum double moves to south tower.
-Posted with Wayfinder

GM Fuzzfoot |

Correct, there is only 1 fire, and Charn is looking right at it now. It will take a move action to extinguish it.
Korvalis, I have no problem with you moving to the second tower. For that matter, I have no problem with you all resetting yourselves anywhere. The basic situation now is that the first tower is cleared (except for the burning fire), and the second tower has a locked or bolted door, at least two goblins inside, and neither of them still on the roof (which Charn can see from his position).
Now, we will stay in initiative even though combat appears temporarily over, because your goblins are still active and not necessarily under control - although they are also not being threatening to you in any way right now. But I will be moving them on their turn.
So, let's start at the top of round 4, and Korvalis can relocate to where he thinks he should be on the map prior to taking his action. Sound fair?
Round 4: (Bold may act)
Korvalis
Kamda
fire burning for 3 rounds.
Stinker (Grey)
Happyfeet (Purple)
Charn
Animal (Red)
Icetooth Goblins (I3-I4)
Stew (Blue)
Jazmine & Giggles
Vrothum
Snacks (Yellow)
Rikket (Green)
Cirri

![]() |

Sure. Let's say Korvalis charged the locked door, Raged, and struck it with his Lucerne Hammer last round, putting him next to it in an unknown state.
Lucerne Hammer vs. door, damage, Rage: 1d12 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

Kamda, unfortunately, still must delay.
Bah! It don't be soundin like yer 'avin' any fun in there! Do I gotta-- STEW!! GET BACK BEHIN' ME AFORE I TIE YE TA THA INSIDE O ME SHIELD!!-- come in there an' assault 'em for ye?!

GM Fuzzfoot |

Sorry, Charn - my mistake. When I posted the last update, the icons for I1 and I2 were hidden, and I somehow translated that to dead... the part about the fire is still accurate, but there are two goblins right on top of you. They were trying to descend when you came up.
Meanwhile, I believe Korvalis is meaning to use his round 3 action to bash the door down on the lower tower, which if that is the case, we need to move his icon. (I can do so, but wanted confirmation first). If this is the case, I can describe what he sees before we proceed to round 4 (although I expect it will not change Charn's actions).

![]() |

that is correct. I will not get to the map before tomorrow at the soonest, so if you can move it that would be great.
-Posted with Wayfinder

GM Fuzzfoot |

As Korvalis splinters the door, the two goblins inside grin and brandish their swords.
Korvalis can now take round 4 action.

![]() |

Korvalis returns their grin with one of his own and shakes his head at their naivete. "You puny things cannot match the power that boils in my veins!" His hammer hits the ground with a thud as he steps into the doorway and swings at the one on his right with one claw, and the one on his left with the other claw.
First claw, damage, bloodrage: 1d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 2 = 8
Second claw, attack, bloodrage: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 2 = 15
First claw, damage, bloodrage: 1d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 2 = 8

GM Fuzzfoot |

That would have been brutal if you had rolled just a bit higher, but unfortunately both attacks miss.
Stinker and Happyfeet both run forward to the towers, and Stinker even gets in the door.
Round 4: (Bold may act)
Korvalis
Kamda
fire burns for 3 rounds.
Stinker (Grey)
Happyfeet (Purple)
Charn
Animal (Red)
Icetooth Goblins (I1-I4)

Jazmine & Giggles
Vrothum

Can i use my move action to put out the fire and still hit the goblins with my attack? in which case i do that. if not then i use martial flexibility to give me power attack.
Charn roars as he reaches the top of the tower and swings at the goblins with his morning star.
morning star: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
power attack -1/+2 not included as waiting to see if i can put out the fire too...
ho-hum no goblin squishing just yet. maybe we're just saving them for Kamda ;-)

GM Fuzzfoot |

Yes, you can use a move action to put out the fire, so while you missed the goblin, the fire is out.
I1 & I2 attack Charn together, but fail to hit him.
I1 Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
I2 Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
I3 & I4 attack Korvalis together, but fail to hit him.
I3 Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
I4 Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
These are some useless goblins...;)
Animal runs in and starts climbing the ladder. Stew continues to eat rations.

![]() |

i posted earlier that I would double move to south tower, if someone doesn't mind I can move 20 sqs. "I'm on my way Korvalis!"

![]() |

fire's out thats good :-), Vrothum i moved you what i think is 20 squares (left a little box if any one thinks they can draw a faster line.) Anyone able to go on goblin herding duties? i'm a bit worried that some at the back seem to be edging off the map...

![]() |

When Cirri's turn is up, she will dismiss the Obscuring Mist around her so she can track the party's quarry. "Goblins! We're moving inbetween the tower. Follow me please!"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
move action to dismiss spell, standard action to move towards the towers. It looks like we'll have control of the towers soon, so I'll work on controlling the goblins.

![]() |

Kamda grins wickedly at the goblins.
Ye best be doin what she says, 'cause iffen ye don't, I'll be makin ye write yer names an' tha word "breathe" onna piece o' paper, an' that'll take tha air outta all o' ye right quick, won't it?
Intimidate: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

GM Fuzzfoot |

While the remaining charges were happy to ignore Cirri, Kamda's grin put them back in line. This only applies to the ones still near you, however.

![]() |

Jazmine looks around and sees the ladder before her, then looks down at Giggles. "Go gather up the gobbies. We need to get them back together. After she sends Giggles on its way, she grabs the one next to her and waits for the others to make it up to her.
I think all of the bad gobbies are dead??

GM Fuzzfoot |

No, there are still four attacking you. Two at the top of the upper tower, and two at the bottom of the lower tower.

![]() |

In that case After sending Giggles out after the gobbies, Jazmine climbs the tower
Standard to send Giggles out, and move to climb the ladder.. If I have an attack, just let me know. And there should be an AOO against her.

GM Fuzzfoot |

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
One of the goblins, seeing an opportunity to skewer Jazmine, poke is sword right at her head. His grin turns to shock, however, when she dodges the blow just at the last second.
Jazmine climbs to the roof, unscathed. (But no attack this round)
Round 5: (Bold may act)
Korvalis
Kamda
Stinker (Grey)
Happyfeet (Purple)
Charn
Animal (Red)
Icetooth Goblins (I1-I4)
Stew (Blue)
Jazmine & Giggles
Vrothum
Snacks (Yellow)
Rikket (Green)
Cirri

![]() |

Korvalis grins at the two goblins. He swings his right claw at one of them, then his left claw at the other, then steps into an open space in the tower to make room for his companions.
First claw, damage, bloodrage: 1d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 2 = 11
Second claw, attack, bloodrage: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 2 = 11
Second claw, damage, bloodrage: 1d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 2 = 7
I figure the first swing will probably let him 5' step onto a space previously occupied by a goblin. ;)

GM Fuzzfoot |

You are correct!
The first goblin crumples in a heap, but the second goblin manages to duck out of the way.

![]() |

glad you could join me, shall we put an end to this.
Charm smiles when he sees jazmine join him on the tower as he takes another swing at the goblins around him.
