I would like to recommend that everyone take a chance to re-read Intimidate, Bluff and Diplomacy for this one. For instance, Vrothum's Intimidate here would work to get the goblin more likely to follow a specific request, but at a cost of him becoming unfriendly soon after. On the other hand, Charn's diplomacy changes the goblin's demeanor to Friendly for a few hours, but then back to Indifferent, and she won't be able to use it again for 24 hours. Same for Jazmine, except she could not just take a second diplomacy check to change the mood (only 1 in 24 hours), but could continue to make rolls for additional specific quests (as long as they are different, and the first roll she made would have made her goblin more defiant to begin with.
I wouldn't normally meta-rule you here, but I had to look these up in preparation, and I expect you will have enough of a challenge using these skills to your best advantage without using it all up in the intro.

Very good point.. Thank you for the heads up.. I will go back and reread these. Sometimes, I think that these are something that just gets taken for granted, and becuase talking encounters are pretty short and one sided, the nuances get missed.
As for my goblin, does it speak common or just grab the food?
They do all seem to speak some amount of common, although he didn't say anything - just gobbled down the food.

Just a heads up..My wife's grandmother is being placed on hospice this coming week and is not expected to last for very long. There will probably be some very severe lapses on my part as we travel and take care of things, but I will at least try to post once a day.

GM, I just discovered that if you use Google Slides instead of Google Drawings, mobile users that can install the Slides app can move their tokens from that app.

I will have to look into this. I have been having sizing issues with Googledocs anyways. For some reason all of the maps that I put up have to be taken from the PDF into Paint, uploaded as a picture, and then copied into the google drawing (keeps tellimg me file too large if I skip paint) and it comes out all kinds of screwy.. Thanks!!
