Alright, then when the BoF goes off, I'll select the +2 AC/atk/ref (which will only be an additional +1 since haste is already in play) until next turn, then stand up at that time. Moving one extra square with time hop.

Also, please move my Magic Circle vs Evil, I can't seem to be able to do.

Okay, so you're readying (but still prone). Assuming Karu emerges he'll be able to stand as a swift.

What is the higher ground bonus for? From the description it sounded like a flat-grounded arena and none of them are flying. I've never seen that type of bonus used simply because of a size discrepancy; that's what the built-in size bonuses are for, I thought.

A 5-foot step while prone is not going to be possible. I'm being generous letting you burrow at all while prone.

I'm going to assume Karu takes the one attack over ruining Kynrac's ready.

The giant is surprised when Karu crawls from the sand and springs to his feet under the power of Kynrac's blessing. He groans in pain when the Bold Strider pounds on his shin.

Surrounded by enemies, he focuses his wrath on the more wounded Atum.

Primary vs Atum: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (14) + 26 = 40

Damage: 4d6 + 16 ⇒ (4, 4, 6, 3) + 16 = 33

The sand-fist switches back to beating on Boomer.

Despite the weight of his injuries, Atum resumes his attack on the ferocious giant. With a groan, the huge brute collapses to the ground.

Markavious is up.

I think this is Mark's last round of blind anyway.

Markavious's vision returns, blurry at first, just in time to see the final huge ape tumble from the air in death.

Adril’s thrilled laughter echoes throughout the arena, drowning out the din of the roaring crowd. “Well done, my little apprentices. You’ve bested my pets. Now face my CHAMPION!”

At that moment, doors open on the south side of the arena and a huge Ulfen man, gifted with hulking musculature that challenges even the Bold Strider and dressed in the regalia of an Ulfen jarl, enters the arena. He's joined by two enormous reptilian multi-legged beasts.

"This is madness! Just give us Hestram and let's be done with this!" Atum thumps to the side and swings hard at one of the monsters, putting too much muscle and not enough accuracy into the swing.

Poo!

Markavious recognizes these creatures as some local species of behir. They're dim but quick and hardy. They're immune to electricity and have partial elemental immunities.

Target: 1d2 ⇒ 1

Unimpressed with Atum's wild swing, he sets his sight on Boomer and bears down on the hound, heedless of the wall of flames. Kynrac give me some wall of fire damage.

With absolute brute strength he cleaves the dog's head from his shoulders sending a shower of gore across the sands.

Markavious and Karu are up. Karu still has a pre-combat action as well.

I'm pretty sure gets both of you. If not, disregard this.

The reptilian monsters wrap their tails around Markavious and Faldoc, pulling the wizard close, lifting the ranger into the air, and crushing both.

Faldoc, Kynrac, and Atum are up. Both Markavious and Faldoc are grappled and 15 feet off the ground.

Kynrac slowly elevates in the air, reaching out for Markavious. He extends one hand, and with a slight touch, the wizard now become impossible to keep a grasp on for the behir.

Swift action: casting grace to avoid any AoOs due to movement.
Move: flying to reach Markavious.
Standard: casting freedom of movement defensively on Markavious to free him from the grapple.

Concentration DC 23, casting defensively: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (2) + 25 = 27

Because this seems to come up a lot, it's worth mentioning preemptively: freedom of movement doesn't make the recipient immediately pop free from a grapple. In this case, Markvious needs to spend the standard to break free (which automatically succeeds) or wait for the behir to maintain the grapple and fail.

Oh! Also, Atum gets an AoO against the behir of his choosing as they fly overhead.

I'm sure some surprise will come out of this...

Sorry, no AoO. The southern one was actually 10' away when it attacked but I didn't want to overlap Atum's mini on the map.

Atum catches one of the behirs with his mighty polearm when it drifts back but struggles to land a solid blow against the beast's thick scales with his bare hands.

Faldoc flies out of the behir's reach and lines up a shot, nailing the huge ulfen man with an arrow in the shoulder. The arrow sinks deep but the savage jarl hardly seems to notice it. He's got DR/-.

Kol Voss snarls and charges Adril's champion with bloody weapon held high. I remembered him for once!

Voss lands a shallow cut across the champion's chest but the brute reacts with lightning quickness burying his axe deep into Kol Voss's leg. The prince howls in pain and retreats a step but the champion doesn't give him an inch.

Primary: 1d20 + 26 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 26 - 2 = 32

Damage: 1d12 + 2d6 + 26 ⇒ (4) + (5, 5) + 26 = 40

Kol Voss tries to muster a defense but he's powerless against the champion's brute strength. The jarl's final blow cuts deep into the prince's spine nearly splitting him in two. With one last groan he falls to the ground dead.

The champion roars in triumph and hacks the ice from around his angles.

The burst of colorful glitter does little to impede the champion. It does serve to make him look slightly less fearsome.
