Kynrac and Atum are up.

Not sure if the AoO can be made with the polearm or not so I'll roll both just in case and you can take whichever is more appropriate:
+3 impact adamantine bec de corbin: 1d20 + 19 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 19 + 1 + 2 = 27
damage: 3d8 + 27 ⇒ (2, 2, 7) + 27 = 38

"Indeed, Karu. He should be punished for that." Atum moves around the man and swing his bec de corbin as hard as he can at the killer's weapon, trying to leave him helpless.
Trying to sunder this guy's weapon. Adamantine will ignore the hardness and I moved so just a single standard action attack.
+3 impact adamantine bec de corbin: 1d20 + 27 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 27 + 1 + 2 = 39
vital strike damage: 9d8 + 27 ⇒ (3, 7, 7, 3, 2, 2, 5, 7, 7) + 27 = 70

About the possibility of Divine Interposition for Voss, I'm afraid it was impossible because I had already spent my immediate action (thus this round's swift action) to free Markavious with liberating command.
Question: Voss has died for less than 1 round, correct? If not I'll retcon.
Seeing their staunch supporter fall to Scelg's blows, Kynrac feels it is his duty to help the native of Akiton. Flying to the lifeless body, he infuses life forces into it.
"The Pathfinder Society owes a great debt to you. Now return to the realm of the living and breathe again to see Akiton being freed from Hestram's clutch!"
Breath of life @Kol Voss: 5d8 + 13 ⇒ (1, 1, 5, 4, 2) + 13 = 26
| DM Feral |
Correct. Voss is still within the breath of life window.
Kynrac's surge of powerful healing energies mends the prince's broken body just enough for life to flow through him once again. Kol Voss takes a pained shuddering breath as his eyes weakly flutter open.
The champion discards the remnants of his ruined weapon and leaps on Atum with his bare hands in a frenzy. "Ha! No weapons then, just fists and fury!"

Atum punches back as the man moves to hand-to-hand combat. "Your accuracy is impressive but you could learn a few things from my friend Karu over there about how to make your body a more effective weapon."
| DM Feral |
I assume Atum's doing lethal damage with his punches?
AoO from the AoO (because that's a thing): 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (4) + 24 = 28
Nonlethal Damage: 1d3 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17
Atum catches the champion across the chin with a quick jab but his opponent takes the punch... like a champ... and then counter punches with a shot to Atum's ribs.
Karu is up.
Atum Nakhti

Yes, Atum is doing lethal damage. Was is the AoO from the AoO for though? Atum has Improved Unarmed Strike.
Atum Nakhti
|
Oh! I forgot that you mentioned he had that. So Atum is at 66 nonlethal damage and 65/146 hp. Normally this means you fall unconscious (without bleeding though) but I'm not sure how Diehard interacts with that.
| DM Feral |
The consensus on the boards seems to be that you are unconscious because the wording of nonlethal damage is very specific but I tend to think that was an oversight by the folks that wrote diehard 20ish years ago.
In any case it's a moot point currently because I think you missed a heal from Kynrac during the last round of the previous combat.
Atum Nakhti

Ah! Yes I did. Thanks Kynrac! 66 nonlethal damage and 91/146 hp.

Karu quickly moves through the sand, stepping over the carcass of Boomer as his eyes stay locked on Skelg.

Karu punishes the champion for his wild blow and Atum swiftly finishes him off with a flurry of armored kicks.
Against Kynrac's wishes, Kol Voss weakly climbs to his feet and addresses Adril. "Adril Hestram! We've defeated your monsters and your champion. Now I challenge you to the the Rite of Ascension for control of the Starsword."
At this challenge, the crowd slowly quiets and then begins to shout at Hestram in their native tongue. The party can't understand their language but it's clear they're unhappy with their king's inaction.
"I think not!" Adril shouts in refusal. "You'll never have the Starsword! You'll never take this city from me!"
Kol Voss smirks and the crowd that so recently supported the new King Adril immediately turns violent and begins shouting in anger. Even the princess, chained to the floor beside him, shouts her disappointment at Adril's cowardice.
Adril is visibly angry, but when the crowd begins to climb into his luxury box, he quickly unchains the princess and flees. "To hell with all of you!"
| DM Feral |
Conveniently enough...
A minute later a crash is heard as the rampaging crowd smashes something within Adril's luxury box. There's a shimmer in the air as the dome of force fades away freeing the party to pursue the rogue venture-captain.
As party chases after Adril through the maze of hallways beneath the arena’s stands, they hear a huge booming roar. Once they reach the outside, they see an airship — a large sailing vessel similar to those on Golarion, but with leathery wings and stabilizers — sailing quickly up and away from a nearby skydock trailing a cloud of thick black smoke. Dozens of citizens of Arl lay dead across the skydock and several other airships are burning. One ship, however, seems intact.
Several armed Akitonians arrive, more of Voss's allies apparently, and give the prince a nod of deference. "Onto the other ship. He's getting away!"
Faldoc Tisbane
|
You want us to get on that? Faldoc looks to the others as the chase is on. Surely there is another way.
Faldoc Tisbane

I'm guess by now my Fly spell has expired.
No, and not for very long either.
Kynrac
|
After the fight ends, but before the dome crumbles:
Kynrac quickly heals his companions, biding his time to set out in pursuit of the traitor.
Casting CSW on both Atum and Karu, then one charge of infernal healing each (provided they accept). Let me know if you need more.
CSW @Atum: 3d8 + 13 ⇒ (1, 2, 7) + 13 = 23
CSW @Karu: 3d8 + 13 ⇒ (8, 1, 1) + 13 = 23
How much time has passed since the fight in the arena?
At the airship:
"We need everything we can to catch up with him and stop the traitor. Let's take off immediately!"
Atum Nakhti
|
26 nonlethal damage and 141/146 hp after Kynrac's heals. No objections to infernal healing from Atum, he's a LN atheist from Rahadoum.
Atum falters at sight of the airship. "I take it airship is a literal term? I think they have them in Alkenstar back on Golarion. Never been there." Atum only shrugs slightly and hurries onto the ship, looking for something useful to do to help the pursuit.
Karu the Bold Strider
|
Karu sighs as he helps deliver the knockout blow to the traitorous Jarl. When the man falls and Voss challenges Adril, the Champion waits expectantly in the arena as Kynrac teens to the wounds.
"I appreciate your aid, Kynrac, however my wounds are nothing compared to Atum. Tend to him. " he tells the ranking member of the faith.
Karu has 2 nonlethal only after the mass CLW. Use the extra CSW on Atum. :D
---
Karu hoists Boomer onto his shoulder as the group pursues the coward. "We will find solace for your hound, Faldoc." he assures the man.
---
As the group rushes into the airship, Karu nods to Atum, Faldoc, Mark and Kynrac. Once on the deck, near the railing, the aasimar sets down Boomer and lashes his body to the railing to prevent the loss of the beloved pet.
Turning to the group, he starts planning. "Let's quickly board their ship once we catch up. Hopefully, we have some long range artillery or ideas to make that happen..." he says, looking expectantly at the two miracle creators.
-Posted with Wayfinder
| DM Feral |
You probably can't drag Boomer's body around. I don't think Karu can carry it and even if you could it'd slow you to a crawl.
Whatever magic/technology is in use to power this craft is currently behind Markavious's understanding. With some time and study he could probably figure out the workings of these wondrous ships but for now there's nothing he can do but wait. Fortunately, after a bit of observation, Markavious notes that the party's ship is much faster than Adril's and the gap looks to be rapidly closing. Whatever Kol Voss and his men are doing is working.
The party's vessel moves faster and climbs higher until the ship is almost close enough for the party to board the enemy vessel. Suddenly there's an explosion and the airship leans hard to starboard and begins to rapidly descend. Within the span of seconds, Adril's ship pulls away once again.
Kol’s men scream in alarm and point in the direction Voss and the rest of his men departed. Despite the language barrier, their message is clear: something is wrong with the engine.
Edit: After a bit of checking, Karu definitely cannot carry Boomer's remains. He caps out at 520 lbs. If he stays enlarged, Atum could probably do it depending on how much weight he's already carrying.
Kynrac
|
Then I'll redirect the second CSW to Atum and use my wand of infernal healing on him, so he should be at max Hp or close. Moreover, does Atum want me to use one of his scrolls of stoneskin on him? Now would seem an appropriate moment, knowing that a possible confrontation with Adril is at hand.
Faldoc Tisbane
|
Let him be, Karu. Though his service was short, it was loyal. Let him rest.
Atum Nakhti
|
So I think if that second cure is on me, I'm at 3 nonlethal damage and full hp. Thanks!
Re: carrying Boomer: I don't think Atum's ka-stone would last long enough to carry Boomer the whole way.
When Kynrac inquires about using one of the scrolls Atum gave him, Atum simply nods and waits for the spell to be applied.
When something goes wrong on the ship, Atum moves into action as quickly as he can. He finds the engine room and starts looking about, trying to understand the machinery and what has gone wrong.

That's fine. It was more of a roleplay thing, so no worries.
Trying to lift the dog, Karu struggles under the hound's weight. "If you insist Faldoc, at least I can..." he starts as he places a finger on the furry, decapitated body and blesses it with Irori's favor.
---
At the sudden news of a faulty airship, the Champion rushes with the rest to the engine room. "We can't let Adril escape! "
Our previous stoneskin is still active, yes?

Yes, the original communal stonekskin is still up for much of the party.
The party descend into a gory mess as the dismembered bodies of Kol Voss and his men litter the walls and floor of the engine room. Aside from that, the party quickly realizes that the ship is likely powered by a large diamond-shaped crystal near the rear of the room. A bright red glow dims and winks out just as they arrive.
