Gasp!
Papy tries his best to stand the gaze but eventually fells fascinated.
Will 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Will 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10 that's A 15 if this is a spell like ability, otherwise Guntir is hosed

The machine slowly lumbers towards the fascinated Guntir, and rams a piece of machinery at him.
Attack 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 vs FF
The first blow goes wide, but that isenough to stir Guntir back to reality before the second swing comes down!
Attack 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Damage 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
+DC14 check vs Fear or cower in terror.
The second blow catches him though, and the machine starts delivering dents of its own.
Everyone gets a fresh DC14 will save to overcome the Fascination
If you overcome the Will save, you may then act
Kaya - Fascinated?
Guntir - Feared?
Graxzos - Fascinated?
Irudiel - Fascinated?
Lissa - Fascinated?
Papy - Fascinated?

Will Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 Nope...
Inspite of the beginning of the robot's assualt, the lights still keep Lissa slack jawed as the idly watchs them.

Will DC 14: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
As he hears Guntir's reaction to the blow, Graxzos is startled out of his fascination. "Aw, HELLS no! No way some damned machine's gonna be doin' what I laid claim t'do! We're gettin' outta here!" Striding forward, Graxzos takes his place by the northerner's side and, snapping his gun up with a snarl, blasts a shot at the robot!
Attack (Rage, UC&D) vs. TOUCH: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 2 = 14
Damage: 1d8 + 1d6 ⇒ (8) + (5) = 13
Move up to the square west of Guntir (drawing pistol), rage as a swift action for +4 to DEX, and shoot!
| Shifty |
With a thunderous crack the pistol rips out a shot that smashes through the machines visor, and in a shower of sparks it goes still and silent.
You quickly rouse your fellows and make a break for it - retracing your path through the upper dungeon and back to the surface is simple.
Arriving home you quickly move to report to Ambrus Valsin.
He is stunned into silence by your report, then heaps simultaneous praise and disapproval on you—he commends you for surviving a much tougher test than intended, but criticizes you for not immediately leaving and reporting in upon discovering the security sublevel.
In the end, though, both the deed and discovery stand out, and local Pathfinders—many of whom begin in-depth investigation and cataloging of the hidden complex— regard you all with high esteem.
In the months to come, explorers seeking more hidden secrets will no doubt swarm the Red Redoubt.
What of Meleren and Schechera? hand them in... or...?

Guntir, being the lawful type and of a sour nature that disapproves of breakers-in, would be all for turning them in--unless we made some promise I'm forgetting, telling them we would do otherwise. He would not break such a vow

Thanks for saving us, Graxos. That thing distracted me too much to react correctly.
Graxzos Glyphkeeper

"Huh. Yer welcome. I gotta thing 'bout nasty beasties trappin' me in corners unnergroun'." Graxzos glowers at the decommissioned pile of robot as they pass.
Once outside, he turns to the others, speaking in a voice low enough not to be overheard by Meren and Shechera. "Wha' 'bout them? I don' think th'Society OWNS this ol' pile, so I don' know that they did anythin' wrong venturin' in. Person'lly, I'm inclined to let 'em be on their merry way..."
Grax will happily let them go but doesn't have strong feelings about it one way or the other.

"Well, seein' as they were helpful, I'd be willin' ta let 'em go, but it's also true they were in a spot as being they had no place to be." Kaya said with a shrug. Having a hand in thieving herself, she had no place to point fingers, but any good thief knew that they should at least cover their asses going in.
Or, at the least, know not to get caught.

Papy shrugs the last effects of the fascinating light, seeing his fellow dwarf blast the machine.
"I don't care. Let them flee if they don't have the guts. Nearly all their squad is dead. That's a lesson. Isn't it?" says the dwarf, looking at the two persons.

Oh, surely they're guilty for something, but for what? They done nothing to us besides being in the same abandoned siege castle we where sent. Because its not property of our Society, right?
Sending them to jail for being in the worst moment in a bad place doesn´t sounds good to me. Let them go and let them decide if they want this kind of life
And let me meet them again in case I need to employ someone of their aptitudes

The party seems of a mood to cut the pair loose after a bit of a heart to heart.
"You've shown us a better way, maybe we need to look more closely at our allegiances and get a better purpose"
You let them go free to hopefully turn their lives around. It is a long, hard journey of redemption ahead for either bandit, and they might fail, but the one final lesson you taught the ex-bandits before parting ways is the value of hope.
