Rissi flies within 200 feet of the creature and takes a small piece of burnt oak from her spell pouch. She snaps the branch.

Thunderstrike (see bottom of profile for spell description). Using metamagic master: persistent. Two fortitude DC 24 saves required or be stunned for 1 round. plus sonic, half on successful save: 5d8 ⇒ (6, 3, 5, 6, 7) = 27

Rissi blasts the dragon, stunning it before it can take off from the top of the cathedral. She recognizes that as a juvenile red dragon it is immune to fire, sleep, and paralysis and vulnerable to cold damage.

How far is Miana? Within flying charge range or flying run range?

The giant dwarf leaps from the ground and soars toward the dragon with his dorn whirling. Charging blinding toward winged death, Seal tries to slap the dragon down to the ground.

Lucian hurries to reach the cathedral on his phantom steed, then casts debilitating portent at the dragon.

There's no save for this spell. Every time the dragon attacks or casts a damaging spell, it must make a DC 21 Will save. If it fails the saving throw, it deals half damage with the attack or spell.

Flying charge range, sure. I'll get an update up tomorrow morning.

Miana charges in on the stunned dragon, invoking her elemental blood to imbue her hands and feet with frost.

Rissi pulls another wand and closes to some 40' from the brutish beast.

Seal Will: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Miana Will: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (8) + 15 = 23

Seal starts charging in but upon getting a closer look at the dragon he starts to have second thoughts! Shaken for 5d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 5, 2, 2) = 19 rounds.

The dragon bites at Seal as he moves in!

Seal is unable to get past the tough scales of the dragon but Miana's kick finds a soft spot! The dragon unfurls its long leathery wings and backs up in the air above the cathedral. Its booming voice echoes out an arcane phrase over the town.

Rissi points her wand and sickly green ray leaps out at the creature, striking its side and turning its scales an ugly, mottled red.

Miana continues assaulting the dragon, unleashing a flurry of kicks as try to cripple the dragon quickly. Imagine Chun Li lightning kicks right now

Kufieno conjures a snowball and throws it at the dragon.

Evanya flies and catches up with Sealman, bestowing him a bit of Desnan luck.

Luck domain power: during this round, roll each d20 twice, take the best result.

As for Lucian, he gets closer to the melee, and casts blessing of fervor.

Blessing of Fervor: Don't forget to pick one of the following bonuses that can be changed each turn!
- Increase its speed by 30 feet.
- Stand up as a swift action without provoking an attack of opportunity.
- Make one extra attack as part of a full attack action, using its highest base attack bonus.
- Gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls and a +2 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves.
- Cast a single spell of 2nd level or lower as if it were an enlarged, extended, silent, or still spell.
Note: It doesn't stack with haste! Pick a different or better bonus than those provided with haste.

Miana lands a powerful kick and Kufieno hits with a snowball that seems to sizzle against the dragon's hide! When Rissi's spell saps the dragon's strength, it plummets from the sky, leaving behind a trail of smoke and landing with a resounding thud and a mushroom-cloud of fire and ash on the front steps of the cathedral!

From your vantage point above the town, however, you can see that there are a trio of stone giants moving in towards the Mill Pond!

You can take a couple rounds to regroup and whatnot though.

Wow, good job Miana. That also saved me a good 30 minutes of If A then B type of post. Lucian you take 4 points of damage from that last Bite.

Seal chuckles as the dragon turns his mouth away at the last moment to only gnash the dwarf with his molars. Seeing giants on the vista, Seal flies in the direction of the trio as quickly as he can.

Rissi casts haste upon Sealman and the rest before they fly off too

In transit, Seal will stow his dorn and re-wield Isoult.

Lucian steers his phantom mount towards the new front, following his companions.

"By Desna, this town will not fall! You cannot break our resolve!" he shouts on the top of his voice, obviously quite taken by the epic scale of the fight.

Arriving to where his companions intend to make their stand, he casts prayer, asking Desna to bring them luck.

Prayer: +1 luck bonus to attack, damage, saves, skill checks.

You prepare and regroup as you head towards the Mill Pond where the three giants have closed on the town, holding tree-trunk-like clubs in one hand and using the other hand to reach into buildings and pull out victims! The third giant looks as if he is directing the others.

If someone wants to get into combat faster, with a very temporary 90' fly speed, I can help with that. I probably only have the strength for Rissi or Kufieno while maintaining a medium load for 4x speed.

Lucian prods his mount to get in range for a couple of fiery rays emanating from his burnt hands. Aiming one of the lesser ones.

The natural 1 only deactivates the wand for the day if the roll's also a failure.

Try Again: Yes, but if you ever roll a natural 1 while attempting to activate an item and you fail, then you can't try to activate that item again for 24 hours.

Huh. Never realized that before. I had to check the CRB to make sure the wording was the same but it is.

Seal and Miana work to take the remaining giants down. Seal's blow is quite devastating but only one of Miana's kicks lands. Lucian's touch is able to drain the energy of one of the giants.

As a group you then quickly overwhelm the last stone giant!

You hear booming voices screaming from the city and hurry to investigate: two giants shout threats at Two Knight Brewery, their voices booming and insistent. “If you don’t give us all the beer, we’ll smash you flat!” shouts one of them. Another throws a stone at the building. “Beer or death! Your choice!”

As soon as you move in to attack though, they find themselves overwhelmed and retreat from the brewery and the city.

Soon though you notice smoke rising from what can only be Scarnetti Manor....
