Earth Blast!: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
After the knife-thrower sets them down, Dustwich replies, "Sure, sure, nicknames are great, but are you really allowed to give yourself titles?"
Dustwich then lets loose another blast of earth at the Aspis agents. "I mean, don't you usually have to, I dunno, earn titles and have them bestowed on you or something, Mister Magnificent? Also, pay attention to where you're throwing those things! I don't want to become 'Dustwich the Impaled.'"

"I am not sure how these things work in Avistan or Garund, but in Minkai only the Emperor can bestow titles. Although he delegates that power to his daimyos." Myrd hesitates for a moment "I wonder what the Jade Regent will do, now that the Emperor is absent"

EndlessForms |

The party works together to take down one of the Aspis agents. The tyrannosaur comes up from behind and lets out a roar as it snatches up another Aspis agent and throws him into the air, catching him and swallowing him whole.
Now you just have to get up out of the ravine to escape the dinosaur's wrath....

Dustwich looks around, and spying a boulder, mutters, "Well, when in doubt, throw a rock at it..."
Dexterity: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 Is this modified by ACP? If so, my check is 1 less.

Carlyle will help Dustwich to push the boulder. "No worries, Dusty the Dust-laden! I shall aid you!"
Dex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
He becomes distracted by the banter. "Well, I just gave Dusty a title. Does that count? Also, I think I could do better..."

![]() |

"You definitely could. But maybe, for now, we could focus on the huge monster lizard that just ate an Aspis Agent like a sliver of jerky?" Dustwich replies with a nervous look at the dinosaur's snapping jaws.

Cyrinda holds on tight to the egg as she tries to run out of the way of the big rock that the party is trying to shove over.

Torean heaves into the rock Dustwich is trying to move. It's tilts up precariously. The dwarf shouts, "Now! Move it now!"

"I am confused, did you make Dustwich a count?" Myrd asks while selecting the best position to push against the rock.

Everyone works together tumbling rocks towards the increasingly maddened dinosaur, who in her rage snatches up another Aspis agent for a light snack!
The journey back to the grippli village will take several hours.
I forgot something during the chase so I'll let you do it now:
One of the trees growing along your path bears a single glowing fruit.

![]() |

"Is that fruit...glowing?" Dustwich asks, puzzled enough to stop their conversation with Carlyle about what nickname to give the knife-thrower. "Should we be worried? The other strange plants we've encountered have mostly tried to kill us, but who knows? We just escaped being eaten by a huge lizard monster and got all her eggs, so maybe things are looking up."

![]() |

"I wouldn't count on it Dustwich. That glowing fruit is probably a lure to entice the lesser beasts of the forest. Thanks to our intellect we won't fall for such a simple trap, best leave it alone."
If aid other is allowed, I don't have knowledge nature trained: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Torean takes the glowing fruit and peers at it. "Ain't no fruit like I've ever seen. But maybe we'l take it back and see if Mother Bogwynne knows."

![]() |

Cyrinda walks up and stares at the fruit, almost entranced. "Oh wow...glowing fruit!" After a few moments, she turns her head and smirks, "Neat, but I'm not gonna eat it if nobody knows what it is..."
"What do you say, bring these babies back to the camp?" She holds up her egg.

![]() |

"Yeah, I'm with Cyrinda on this. Torean, good thinking, we'll see if the krihirik know what that fruit is. Hopefully it's not more plants that want to kill us..."

EndlessForms |

Cyrinda chomps down on the fruit and finds that it is quite delicious. Furthermore, she can feel its restorative powers coursing through her veins.
Functions as cure moderate wounds and neutralize poison (CL 7th), although I don't think either of those give you any benefit at the moment.
At the outskirts of the Krihirik village, grippli possessions lie scattered about as if they were dropped or tossed carelessly from the dwellings above. Where before gripplis hurried about the village, now none are to be found. Shouting from the direction of the elders’ hut carries through the empty jungle—“Find the others!”—followed by the loud crash of something falling to the jungle floor.
You can approach the center of the village along the jungle floor, or they can climb into the trees and use the rope bridges to approach from the north or west.

EndlessForms |

Well, their hut is up in the trees. Last time you were able to climb a ladder up near their hut. All of the buildings are connected by raised walkways.

![]() |

Myrd starts running towards the elder's hut. "Don't just stand there!"

Torean rushes to the center of the village, looking for a ladder along the way. "What the devil is happening?! Where is everyone?!"

Cyrinda chomps down on the fruit and finds that it is quite delicious. Furthermore, she can feel its restorative powers coursing through her veins.
I think Cyrinda's post said she wouldn't eat the fruit until we knew what it was. Glad it didn't kill her, though!
Running into the center of the village, Dustwich spots a ladder assuming the map is correct. "Put the ladder up! Here!" Dustwich motions, and raises a wall of earth to brace the ladder against. "Set up the ladder and get everyone up! I'll blast anyone who tries to interfere--it sounds like we have a fight on our hands!"
What's the distance to the top of the walkways? I can hit anything within 30 ft normally, and 120ft if I extend my range.

EndlessForms |

The party starts running on the ground towards the center of the village. You can see that some of the Aspis leaders must have waited behind and, not hearing back from their egg-gathering crew, must have started ransacking the village looking for this weapon the grippli supposedly have.
The 20-foot ladder you used to reach the tree tops now lies on the ground; clearly the source of the crashing noise you heard earlier. You see movement from inside the elder's hut and two Aspis guard the walkways. A small panther prowls about below.
