I think Baz has one already.

Baz watches his companions battle the illusion, then waits to move forward, carefully.

Seeing no further traps in this room or on the doors heading in, you move to the next chamber.

This elegant chamber opens to the heavens. Dragon carvings crawl over the columns, moving with each glance away. An altar rests to the north, topped with a pair of marble thrones. The thrones suspend a platinum peacock statue between them, its tail adorned with emeralds and sapphires cut to radiant perfection. The low susurrus of party chatter echoes from tastefully darkened corners. The scene briefly flickers, revealing a mud-covered hall, stripped and looted, before the glamer returns.

DC 30 KN (religion):
You recognize the altar as belonging to the Peacock Spirit, a long-forgotten Thassilonian deity. This would be worth tens of thousands of gold pieces.

Luckily Awen and Baz note that the entire front half of this hall is trapped and rigged with electricity in the floor except for the runes which ward off the electrical charge. So stepping anywhere but the green runes will shock you.

Step forward, shield others, and take total defense. Effective AC is 26 this round.

Orik and Victoria wait to see what the gnome does. The man next to her grunts and takes a defensive stance as well. "You're gonna need to pay me more for this, Melnat." Yes, the spell was intended for Baz.

@Orik: yes he should, thanks for reminding me. I forgot about that part of the spell. Not that the archer is able to do much anyways.

Also, another sorry: Melnat is not on the map because she has been using a swift to turn invisible at the end of each round. I forgot to put it in the description above. Let's say Baz was shooting at the gladiator guy (Nalme) instead, not that it really matters.

As such, I don't think Victoria could really ready to hit her with MM during casting since you won't be able to see the casting. So Victoria might want to change her action. You could always just ready it with the trigger to shoot her when she is visible but it won't disrupt her spell.

The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

@Insidion: yep, the wall causes you to be nauseated for 1 round and you need a DC 12 Acrobatics or fall prone. Since you are nauseated you wouldn't be able to finish your movement or attack I guess.

Going to assume Victoria readies for the gnome to become visible.

A dark black cloud spreads out around Orik, Awen, and Bazresh....

fire damage: 10d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 4, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 2, 2) = 35
DC 22 Ref for half
Also, make a DC 22 Will save. If you fail the Will save, you take damage as normal above. If you make the Will save though, you recognize this as a shadow evocation of a fireball spell and by disbelieving it only take 20% damage (7 damage on a failed Ref save, 3 damage on a successful Ref save).

It's shadow magic, so yes - it's all quite profoundly quantum physics-y.

Outside, the statue of Lucija makes for an impressive ornament. An itinerant bard on his way into town passes by and stares at it for a few seconds. Confusing it for a shrine of a local deity or something, he picks a few wildflowers and lays them carefully at Lucija's feet before moving on.

The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

@Insidion: Yes, you could finish your movement while nauseated. If you had fallen prone though you would have had to stop where you were since it is a move action to stand up. But you didn't fall so you can finish your move next to the gladiator. I've fixed the map.

@Orik: if you fall to the fireball, the others would direct their attacks at Baz. You can die from an illusory spell if you think it's real (phantasmal killer anyone?) so I'm sorry but I think Orik just bit the dust.

Coming to a stop behind Insidion, he readies his bow against the gladiator.
Not sure with the haste if I still have an attack.. If I do:

@Insidion: I guess that's ok too.

Only the last two attacks from Insidion connect with the gnome.

@Baz: I don't think you saved against the wall of nausea yet.
Fort: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Acro: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Baz tries to fly at the gnome but is crippled over with sickness as he hits the greenish wall of sickness hanging in the air.

@Awen: Haste increases your movement and gives you an extra attack when you perform a full attack. It looks like with the movement increase you are able to move through the cloud and pull off a regular standard-action attack though.

Awen's arrow clatters off the man's shield.

The gnome steps back from Insidion. "My, you're a mean one."

@Insidion: you see your worst nightmare come to life before your eyes. DC 21 Will save to recognize the image as unreal. If you fail that, the phantasm touches you and you need a DC 21 Fort save or die from fear. Even if the Fort save is successful, you take 3d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4) = 8 damage.

Meanwhile the two mercenaries work to surround Awen and attack.

With the haste added, the shield bash did not hit.

Deeply wounded, Awen drops his bow and claws for his sword. Finally getting it out and pointed the right way, he staggers out from between his enemies, and chooses If one is already wounded, lets aim the attack there. If not, the one more lightly armored. one of the two to cut into.

GM: would you permit an entangle spell considering we are in a cave? I doesn't exactly say there are no plants growing over here, but needed your ok first.

I'm not sure what you mean about stealth/perception. He hasn't been hiding since the first round; he's been peppering Orik with arrrows the whole time. He got behind you and flanked with the gladiator (Nalme) and so he got sneak attack on you.

I would rule no on the entangle. I think this is more of a worked cavern/hall than a natural cave in this area.

yea I see what you mean now.. I was looking at things wrong again. For some reason I only thought that there was one henchman. As for the Entangle, that's cool. Thank you!

will save, rage: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 2 = 8

Wow. Even if I weren't playing up, this has to be one of the most brutal scenarios I have ever seen. DC 21 save or die (~75% chance of dying), with the previous DC X save or be turned to stone, is absolutely insane. With Orik dead, too, we've now lost 3. This could turn uglier still, and is certainly going to be expensive.

Insidion, you will still get a fort save for death or partial damage. While your will save is low, your fort should be better. Roll high - burn any rerolls or favors/boons if you have them .

The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

@Insidion: I think you misread it; as Victoria points out, if you fail the Will save, you still get a Fort save to prevent death. If you make the Fort save you only take 8 damage.

I addressed that above.

Just giving Insidion a chance to use someone's reroll if he wants. Victoria has offered her portfolio for him to have a chance at rerolling that last save.
