Welcome back everyone! I need a few days to get settled and I'm sure you could use a few days to take a break and buy gear and then we'll get started.

I'm thinking about either the bard or the paladin. With two clerics in the party I felt like a lot of dead weight. With the bard I could throw some halfway useful spells and keep the party buffed, and with the paladin I wouldn't be terrible in combat and provide some support. Suggestions?

Well, we've pretty much got all of the bases covered: Wizard(s), rogue, barbarian, cleric. I think the rogue & barbarian did a pretty good job of keeping melee covered, so extra buffs never hurt, but it's really open, so play what you think you would enjoy the most.

14 gp. I didn't think about it last game, but if I can stop by a shop and sell a couple of the items to pick up a shortbow and some arrows, that should work, right? I think there are a few things in the gear list that I could part with and have it not be too detrimental.

Someone pointed out to me that pregens can sell equipment to get rid of conditions, etc, so I don't see why you can't sell a few pregen possessions and buy a shortbow for the duration of the scenario.

I'm going to give the paladin a run and see how it goes. I've got a newbie one I am running in a Jade Regent adventure that just started, so I'm curious how some of the class abilities play out down the road.

Yeah, I thought about selling stuff after the encounter with the harpies from Kortos. I'll be sure to sell some stuff between getting our assignment and shipping off.

Okay, so Miss Elizabeth sells her Tanglefoot Bag for 25 gp and adds that to her 14 gp that she already has. She purchases a shortbow and 20 cold iron arrows, leaving her with 7 gp remaining. I've updated her character sheet to reflect this.

About to hit the road this morning and head to a wedding up north. I may be able to post later today but if I'm not able I will be back in town Sunday evening and will be able to pick back up then.
Have a great weekend all.

SO at this point it occurs to me that instead of offering gear that one of us already has, we probably should have offered something we found along the way, such as the flail. I don't know if it would have made a difference, but I hate for someone to lose wealth for the sake of this. Then again, we could just go after the dragon, but I'll warn you that beyond a Haste spell, I may not be terribly effective against it.

I hate giving treasure to monsters! LOL. But having said that, we have the flail and the spellbook, both of which should be fairly valuable. Barring that I think an offering should come from the excess goods of a Pre-gen, so it doesn't hurt one of the regular characters.

Yeah, I forgot about the flail and spellbook. I was just thinking of the wand and the aspis badge. Handing over a wand of dispel magic seems like a really bad idea. If someone wants to off up the other stuff instead I'd be ok with that. The flail is much more valuable in terms of gp.

That has to be the least amount of combat I've ever seen in a PFS scenario! :)
Well, I'm not sure if you know Kyle Baird (or his reputation) but that is probably a good thing. :)
PFS # 9783-1

Since there are no day jobs and you all get the same things on your chronicle sheets, here it is:
I will need PFS numbers from everyone. For those of you who played pregens, let me know who you would like to apply it to. If you want to have me cross off the gold and give you 500 GP to put the credit immediately on a new level 1 character, let me know and I'll put up another chronicle sheet for you.
Thanks everyone! Hope you all had a good time and see you The Rats of Round Mountain Part II: Pagoda of the Rat
