Adney again nods and follows along at the ready.

How are you going to open the door?

try one of those square things the talking box gave us to open the door? Adney says looking at it with a bit of consternation.

Sure, better than trying to break it down.

Ba-a-a-arnabas pulls out the cards and begins trying them in the door one by one.

You use one of your cards and the door slides open.

This room is 10 meters by 6 meters and houses the sophisticated ancient equipment. Fourteen ancient windows, inlaid along the north wall, display the transmissions of their respective parts of the factory. Three consoles with
chairs face the north wall. The switches are labeled with ancient writing.

The two doors connecting
this room to the corridors have I.D. card slots located just south
of the doors and are found inside and outside the security area.
The I.D. card slots for the two southern doors are located to the
east of each door.

As you enter the room, you take fire from the chicken and a robot

Ba-a-a-arnabas sees all the wonderful equipment in the room.

Ba-a-a-arnabas puts his shotgun away. Instead he lowers his horns and charges.

charging headbutt damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

I now have increased speed from my oversized legs mutation. Not sure if it would affect the charge or not. Edit: that's got to be a miss anyway.

Deyemi leaps and tears into a chicken;

Klaina once again bravely assaults the chicken with her spear.

Maeve launches a mental blast at the chicken.

Deyemi attacks the chicken but the chicken is mostly able to thwart his attack.

Barnabas runs by the chicken Adney's shot hits

But both Maeve and Kalina's attack miss their mark.

Maeve will advance in and try to get around to flank the chicken.

not sure how much distance she needs to cover.

She stabs the halberd towards the chicken but the long weapon drops low and she misses.

Ba-a-a-arnabas takes a few steps back, and his eyes flash with light and heat.

Trying to use my radiating eyes on the chicken.

Hey, you over-sized drumstick, what's your beef? Maeve tries talking to the chicken, while still trying to skewer it on her halberd.

Unfortunately the walking bbq avoids her attacks.

since I did it I wont change it but with my dual brain I can activate my force field?

Barny hits the chicken and luckily Deyemi was not yet on the bird or he would have been hit as well and his right claw hits.

Kalina's spear attack sticks only plummage

Maeve spear attack misses but you can smell that your mental attack was successful.

Adney's bolt hits a wall.

Kalina tries again with her spear, and again, finds only feathers.

Kalina gasps as she feels the sudden pain that threatens to overwhelm her. She struggles to her feet and tries again to plunge her spear into the chicken.

Deyemi sees something shiny on the ground and pounces on it.

Kalina stabs the chicken but with that stab the chicken goes down..

Sparky is unsuccessful with her attack and skewers a box with buttons on it behind the chicken.

Adney's shot goes wide.

Barnabas put some serious damage on the robot but it is still up.

Ba-a-a-arnabas continues shooting at the robot.

"I-i-i-it's hurt pretty ba-a-a-ad. Let's fi-i-inish it off!"

Kalina hefts her spear once again, this time intent on stabbing the robot. Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 2 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Maeve works her halberd out of the dead chicken and turns to the robot. I thought we were helping them?!

She steps next to Kalina and as she thrusts her halbred at the robot, she reaches out to Kalina with her third arm and touches one of her wounds.

transfusion, healing to Kalina: 1d10 ⇒ 7
transfusion, damage to Maeve: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Adneu tries to shoot the robot:

Maeve looks around at the room in wonder, there was a lot of ancient stuff here! ooh, look at the weird windows! she taps her finger on one of the monitors, then looks behind it and then back at the picture again. Huh?

can anything be learned in this room Barnabas? Adney says as he looks around.
