Choose one (mental)... I'll think about that later

I'm not sure what class to take at this point. The party doesn't have an examiner, but it looks like my abilities would be best served by being an esper. I also have good stats for an enforcer.

Does Gamma World allow multiclassing?

Suggestions?


If you pick one that has an MP score you will probably want to go with esper, each level will increase all your MP's.

That or pick something that will make being an examiner easier.


Generally Multiclassing isn't really a thing. I would recommend either examiner or any of the others.

Examiners are cool because they can take artifacts and build new stuff.


What things does an Examiner need? Is it mostly IN?


IN helps in the skills and the use artifacts and robot recognition and also is helpful for Jury rig and identify artifacts. You do start with a tech level 4 item or 5 if you are really lucky.

Am I too late for Gamma World? I love me some GW!

If I'm not too late, I'd like to Play a PSH Scout. Or even better, would you let me play a Gren scout? They are really just PSH with green skin and low tech.


Of course you can create a character. If you want to play a Gren that is ok, too. Roll up as if it were a PSH and then I must think on the modifiers for a Gren.

Thought my 14 IN was pretty good but I see there is a 21 and an 18 in the party.

I think I'll go with Esper since most of my abilities seem to be there. For the "choose" ability I'll go with boosting Mental Strength.

Did I roll the right number of mutations? I thought I got 5 mutations, but Deyemi has 8 and Sparky has 11.


Will go with this for my Avatar. :)


Sparky had some really good rolls.

And, we're past a point in the scene where there was a chance for additional mutations from eating berries.

And two of them are defects.

Kalina hails from a tribe of Gren to the east of Far-Go. Her curiosity has caused her to follow in the footsteps of a group of strangers that she spotted while out hunting. She has yet to approach the strange group, but her curiosity is rapidly outweighing her caution and it is only a matter of time.


Both characters look good. Kalina for being a Gren, I will allow you to have another +1 to your Int.

We are using the 4th edition of Gamma (1992/4) not to be confused with the most modern edition based on D+D 4th edition.
