I've got a 2nd-level Fighter or Thief (not "Rogue" - THIEF!) for lower-Tier, or a 4th-level Occultist for higher-Tier.
I suppose I've got some other characters in range, too, but I'm not satisfied enough with them to commit any further.

On balance, I'm presently leaning toward the Fighter for various reasons, but my Thief could be really good for this too (and I assume he and Redelia's Investigator would be veering on the redundant side together, but who knows?), so I'll wait to see what the others offer.

Hello! I missed my name in the gameplay thread! Sorry!
I have a few first level characters I can bring. There's an effeciency-loving secretary (investigator), a paladin with imposter syndrome, or a cleric with some very screwy heritages (a mostly human, dwarf-blooded oread). The secretary might be the best fit for the scenario, but the cleric or paladin can also work if party balance calls for it.

It sounds like there are lots of us with several characters to bring, and one person has to pick so everyone else can, like a string of dominoes. I've heard this one is very heavy on the roleplay, so I will bring my druid, since she has a much more developed personality. She uses a bow, and her little dino, Blarg, is a solid front liner at this level.
GM, the character profile needs to be updated to 2, but I will do that later today. The level up is already done on paper.

Aright I think I'll bring my secretary as Redelia isn't bringing her investigator. She might overlap skillwise with Sirius the theif, but she is much more interested in helping if she can.

A few things about her, though. I like to stylize her as being on the mission to verify the information being sent back in reports, and therefore she doesn't like to be too directly engaged with things, such as enemies and what not, instead prefering to help from the sidelines. If this doesn't work, she can readily change.
Second, efficeincy is her biggest driving principle after the big three. As such she's liable to start bossing people around if the group is really not handling things well. Again if this is a problem, let me know and I can easily tone it down/get rid of it.
I'm really excited about this and am looking forward to playing with everyone.

I was updating Angela's character sheet (I've made some stylistic changes recently) and discovered I don't have a copy of her most recent chronicle sheet. I've messeaged the GM and am waiting to hear back from him, but she should be ready to go otherwise.
Also she is going to sell and buy somethings with the money from her first chronicle.

It has every chronicle but hers, unless it's not showing up for me, which is a possibility.
Edit: I decided to check it on a different computer (my work computer doesn't play nice with drive and my phone wasn't showing it) and it showed up... Apparently my phone doesn't like that file in particular. Sorry for the bother!

Who wants the 2 elixirs of hiding (+10 Competence bonus to Stealth for 1 hour)?
Who wants the 2 scrolls of disguise self? I think I'm the only person who can use them without making UMD rolls.
Who wants the Shiver sample? Sheela does NOT want to use it unless absolutely necessary. She'd prefer Charm Person first.

As stated, I just took an elixir. I initially took both, but surprisingly, Angela's appears to be little, if any, better than mine.
I have purchased (assuming I'd have had the time) tear-away courtier's clothing and jewelry (of course, given that the price of the jewelry is the same as what I made on my Day Job roll, I can only conclude that I stole it), and a Traveler's Any-Tool - a total 335 gold already deducted from my sheet.

Aaargh, I just discovered problems with Blarg. I used software to build him, and it looks like his HP are wrong, as is his number of tricks. His natural armor may also be wrong, so who knows what else is. Do you want me to fix him now, or are we too far into the scenario?

Argh of course it's the first few bits of the note in the cipher!
It looks like one of the letters (the cipher for the 'P' in 'production' is a cursive 'z'. It could be a '3' as well, but then that would suddenly complicate this cypher!)
Koani It looks like there might be a few mistakes with the cypher you posted earlier, shouldn't it look like this?

Ahhhh, sorry for getting a response back to this so late! I saw it earlier, but didn't get something in then and blitzed it.
But in response: Japan is hard for me to desribe in a few words but i'll try. It's an amazing country, and it'll probably challege the ways you see things. How large should a room be? How polite can complete strangers be? How can people be in such close proximity and be so disconnected? How can a country pour so much into English education and get such mediocre results? (Ok, some of those you won't encounter as a tourist as much...)
But when people have said it's a country that can combine the very old with the extremely modern, they were not lying. Take for example Ginza, the luxury class shopping district of Tokyo, in it's center is a famous old building with a clock tower that wouldn't be out of place int eh late 1800's early 1900's, two blocks away there's a brand new modern design 8-10 floor shopping mall.
If you do come to Japan, I would recommend getting out of Tokyo (if that is where you go). Tokyo is the largest, the most famous and has the most to do, but it is not all that Japan has to offer and can be very different from the other parts of Japan.

I grew up in Silicon Valley. I'm no stranger to the Winchester Mystery House.
How polite can complete strangers be?
A couple visits back to San Francisco ago, I forgot how to get back to my hotel (on foot), so I asked a random guy on the street for directions. He whipped out his iPhone-or-whatever (and mind you, this would have been several years ago, when they were less ubiquitous) and looked up the directions for me right in the middle of the street. Maybe that's not so atypical, I'm not sure. Groups are mean and stupid, but most individuals are kind.
How can people be in such close proximity and be so disconnected?
Well, autism's one way (did I mention I'm from Silicon Valley?); in all seriousness though, urban life in general is actually much more conducive to individualism than rural (where people are sooper-dooper friendly, but only so long as you conform).
How can a country pour so much into English education and get such mediocre results?
I'm sorely impressed that the rest of the world is as good at learning English as it is - and whatever their results, I don't see how they could possibly be as cost-inefficient as what America gets for most of its spending priorities....
