I have the kitty amounts in Chavana's profile, as well as a "trust" for Darpan as well (I should note that Masterwork materials for his longbow are on a good list... perhaps even a magical route (the Masterwork Transformation spell from UM, with GM approbal, which Chavana is able to cast.).

If he can magically improve his bow, that is good, as it is rather special to him and 'upgrading' it would be the route I would prefer! I did not even know about this spell Chavana...thanks!!!!

I would not have a problem going this route. However, to get further enhancements you would obviously need to get someone with the skill to do magical enchanments to it.

Have you figured out a timeline on the Armor? If it can't be done in a reasonable amount of time in Sandpoint then he'll probably have to make a trip to Magnimar after our next loot split.

It will take the smithy a month at least, could be longer depending on how the work goes.

Hmm... I think it might be best to hold off on ordering. Depending on how quick things progress a month could be a few levels or none. Ulrich isn't willing to wait that long and will take the chance that he will be able to come up with the full amount soon and make a quick trip to Magnimar rather than tie his cash up in a long-term project right now. He does buy a glaive though.

Gelgish is in pretty much the exact same situation with his Mithril chain shirt...a quick sojourn to Magnimar may be in the offing sooner rather later.

We went through the same thing with our son in the NICU for a week. I will advise you to milk the NICU nurses for all the knowledge they have. They were amazing for our son, truly angels on earth. I learned how to swaddle like a champ from them. Baby Burrito!

Alright, back at home today. Baby still at the hospital and while still in the "critical care" section things are looking better everyday. I should be back to some more regular posting (at least once a day or in some cases every other day) while we wait for the baby to come home from the hospital. In any case, thanks for the warm wishes and being so understanding of the situation!

Having been through the nightmare of watching a child in the hospital, I am glad to see you and yours are doing better, GM. Great news to hear!

Yeah we have been talking with them a lot. This is our second, though the first didn't go through NICU, so we at least have a little experience. Luckily my wife is clinical too so she can talk the same language with them.

I know we've slowed down a bit, but I'm running into a bit of an issue with my house.

Yeah things have been a bit crazy on my end and I know summers always slow things down a bit for the PbP games. In any case, sorry to hear about the issues with the home, but glad you are able to get them resolved!

I just recently cam across this spell and thought...wow!! But you still have to pay gp for the casting (in special ingredients and such, I suppose) so it still costs pretty much the same, just can be placed on existing items.

Yep. I am fond of it simply because, if you prepare it multiple times, you can have masterwork weapons in a couple of hours. Quite handy if you need them within a day, but also handy if you want to advance your starting weapon.

Helpful for Gelgish too, because I envision his weapon as a rarity even among dwarven clans. Hard to imagine where he could buy one out in Varisia. This way, he keeps the same weapon his father gave him before he left and simply keeps enchanting it more as funds permit.

Same with Darpan...not too many daikyū outside of the Dragon Empires. As a gift he would not part with it lightly, so making it more powerful is the next best thing...next stop....magical!!!

Just a heads up launching another Kickstarter tomorrow so been a little occupied the last couple days, should be back into the swing of things tomorrow or Wed.

How's the KS going?

Wanted to give you all a slight update. I am CRAZY busy with this Kickstarter stuff. It is paying off as we are 550% funded but it is eating up almost all my time. On top of this our other side of the company (which I directly head up) is launching another Kickstarter next month that I am prepping when I am not doing work on the currently running Kickstarter. As such my normal, usually daily posting rate has been knocked down to closer to once or twice a week.

I am still very interested in continuing this campaign but I wanted to check interest with the rest of you. I don't see my time freeing up again until close to December through about Feb or March and then convention session stats up which will take away a lot of my time once again.

Ouch, that's quite a while. Still, I'd still like to continue the game when/if you're able. I'll stop checking game threads though, so once you're back and available just shoot me a PM and I'll be ready to roll.

I will remain lurking here, I'd like to continue this as well.

As would I...maybe we can do something until he returns...start a different game or something...just to keep us all together...if you are interested.

I'm fine to wait... we can re-evaluate in December.

I'm packed for running a game (Council of Thieves), and I'm in one other game as well. I'm a bit tapped for time to run a second game. I'm okay with a second game with this group, but I don't want to see this game go away, either.

What kind of suggestion do you have for a secondary game for this, Daniel?

Not too sure...was just thinking out loud....something we could pick up and put down relatively easily, I would suspect. I had an idea for a GURP's game maybe...

I've not played GURPS. Might be a bit hard for me.

What about another mini-campaign? Something lighthearted? Or we could go completely dark and play another campaign alongside this one.

Hey just jumping on to say the end is in sight. The new Kickstarter I launched today for the project I am heading up ends Nov 25 so I should be jumping back into the saddle around that time.

Greetings all!

I am back from my hiatus and ready to jump back into things. However, before we jumped back in I wanted to go over a couple of things and get your input.

First off, we are in the midst of the holiday season with Christmas just around the corner. As such I know I will be travelling near that time and I expect many of you may have plans as well. So I wanted to see if we wanted to jump right back into things now or wait until the second or so week of January to official start back up. In either case, I am going to be reading through everything and put together a synopsis of where we are so that we can move forward as well as doing some prep work for book 2 since it is on the horizon.

Second, as things have slowed down quite a bit over the last couple of months I want to verify interest from everyone and see if we need to make any adjustments of look for new people. Once we do start up in full again I would really like if we can try to return to a 1 post/weekday and 1 post/weekend pace if possible. We have made some great progress and there has been a lot of great story, but there is still a lot to go through and I definitely want to see us get there!

Finally, I wanted to say thank you all, or those still here, or sticking it out. It has been a blast so far and I sincerely appologize for the delays. I am looking forward to getting back into gear with the PbP scene and continuing to advance these stories!

Well Darpan is here for the long haul...we can play and when it gets busy we will slow down again...I think we will all be busy over the next month or so, but lets get going anyways....thats my 2cp worth!!

Two cases that I expected to be pleas of guilty over the next two weeks are now apparently going to be trials. I will try and sneak a post in every now and then but am likely to be very unavailable for the next couple weeks.
