Chirrk, the hit would've left you at 1 hp, but an 11 missed, even with you flat-footed, so you're still okay-ish.

Boytoy's chattering pistols drive the miner back, blood leaking through improvised armor.

Talbot forces Chirrk's dagger into the side of the cart, but the baton smashes hard into his jaw, leaving him reeling. Being shot in the side with a laser in no way improves his health. He still grips his weapons with a grim determination, but his eyes are unfocused and his nice jacket is stained with his blood.

Lynn spins to the side as a bullet grazes her armor. It's clear she wasn't ready to deal with them so soon. She momentarily puffs out her bottom lip at the three surprisingly clever miners.

With an impromptu alteration her song changes pitch, causing the wall to vanish in an instant.

In its place, she calls three wavering ripples of force. These vibrations hang around her for only a moment before smashing right into one of Talbot's sycophants. Targeting GREEN with all three bolts to try to bring him down and lessen the incoming damage.

With a harmonic thrum one of the miners topples to the ground. The other two don't think they can force their way through the Starfinders and open fire instead!

Jakt'chit's blast leaves the remaining miners lightly parbroiled, but still in the fight.

Lynn ends her song with a sudden flourish. She raises an eyebrow at the remaining miner and murmurs "Giving up? How about you try waking your pals, and then you lot get out of here." She taps a finger to her lip, smile building "Tasch doesn't need a thief and liar like Talbot to do great anyway."

I figure we didn't overkill any of the miners by much and they could still be resuscitated.

Advice given, she calls back "Everyone OK back there? Our last Tasch-ite here doesn't want to fight anymore." She skips past the remaining miner to check if the charlatan's stone is stored somewhere nearby.

Overkill isn't really a thing in Starfinder when it comes to killing monsters/NPCs. It's possible (read: GM Discretion) if you provide prompt medical attention you could save someone who was taken to 0 hp via lethal damage.

As hostilities end Jakt'chit makes an apologetic bow to the remaining miner and hurries over to the others. He pulls several healing serums out of his pockets and hands one to Nemzo for Chirrk.

Jakt'chit leans over to investigate Talbot. "Is he alive? I believe we made an agreement to bring him to AbadarCorp...." Jakt'chit searches for a pulse and tries his best to stop any bleeding.

Chirrk can have one of my healing serums. I'll roll untrained on medicine to see if Talbot is possibly still alive/stabilize. If he, I'll bind him and then use another healing serum.

@Cwethan: Was hoping that the lack of massive overkill would factor into that 'GM discretion' bit, just from a role-playing perspective.

Lynn skips over to Naboh at the exclamation and gives him a cheery high five. "Nice! Lets grab Talbot and get out of here before we have to hurt any more of the hard-working miners he tricked." She peers in the cart and lets out a quiet gasp. "Oh, they both look terrible! I have a serum if that helps?"

She leans over and does her untrained best to halt the worst of Talbot's bleeding.

Anyone else want to try to stabilize Talbot before we lose him? Unless there's some circumstance I'm missing, Jakt'chit's 13 isn't going to do it, and we have limited rounds to do so (so binding and using a healing serum might be too slow).

He pauses a moment, then spits a long, thin rag out of his cheek pocket, which he uses to bind a gash on Talbot's arm.

Oh it factored in, but for future capture missions it might be worth investing in some nonlethal weaponry just in case :)

You are able to save the miners and stop Talbot's bleeding as well. The fight seems to have gone out him, and even once he reawakens, he makes no trouble on his way back towards Tasch.

Getting him to Philt also proves relatively simple. It seems that Philt has been using his time in Tasch productively. AbadarCorp has long considered the construction of a shipping hub outside of Maro and its various gangs and criminal organizations, and Philt has been taking steps towards this.
He believes that Tasch could serve to staff this shipping hub and provide infrastructure for guards, pilots, and corporate employees. Such construction would also mean gainful employment for all the townspeople, and has gone a long way towards a warmer reception to exposing Talbot's misdeeds.

The drive and loyalty the townsfolk demonstrate—however misguided— has inspired me. If that loyalty is properly directed, it could prove quite... valuable.

Back on the Station, Venture-Captain Arvin is thrilled with the recovery of the Stone, and grimly satisfied with your disposal of Talbot. He buys you all a round at Blast Radius, a popular merc bar, then heads out, not wanting to be the boss at the company party. On his way out he winkingly informs you to get some rest after your night of enjoyment; I'm confident I'll have another assignment for you soon...

Chirrk opens an eye when Gear comes to the cart, and grunts at her comment. "His last attack was particularly powerful, and the cart restricted my movement somewhat...still, it was a worthy fight! I will be fine - just let me drink this Serum of Healing." He breaks the seal on the small bottle and gulps the magic potion down, then climbs slowly out of the cart while the others check Talbot.

Lynn helps out with bringing Talbot and the rest of the injured crew back to Tasch in one piece. After hearing about AbadarCorp's plans for the town, she does a quick loop around to reassure the populace (and get her face and name out there). While she's hardly enthusiastic about the big corp, she tries to spin it positively so that people's spirits stay strong!

Back at the station: Lynn decides to break off from the group before the bar (giving it a skeptical look). Before she leaves she gives the assembled group a sunny smile and says "That was great everyone!"

She slips her datapad out of a pocket and holds it high in the air. "Celebration pic time! Y'all give me a smile, why don'cha?" She switches to the dialect of common spoken in Tasch for that last bit. Centering herself and the rest of the group in the frame takes only a few moments and with a quick tap the photo is done.

She slips the datapad back in and spins to face the group again. "I'll send it to you guys later. Hope we get to work together again!"

Nemzo, quiet up to this point as he observes all of the interactions since Talbot's defeat, sizes up the drink that is placed in front of him. He rolls the liquid around the glass before downing it an a gulp. The android shivers a bit then motions for another round. "Well, I will say that thus far my experience with this organization has showed me an interesting side of biological life. Quite fascinating really. I can hardly wait to see what I find next."
