Ugh, okay, I've changed my mind about the elven translator. Anything I type in comes back about 30% english. Its vocabulary is just too limited. It isn't obscure words either, "sail", "disappear", "seem" for example.

If we're going to use the translation style for other languages let's use something from Google translate. It's robust enough. There is a sort of "standard" list for use in games that circulates on the boards:

I think you have to make a DC 10 swim check to move one-quarter speed, to get into melee underwater.

@Fenna: You might want to consider using Studied Target instead of making your 2nd attack this round; It would give you a net +3 to hit, +1 damage, and you'd have the +1 to hit, +1 dmg for both attacks next round.

We're going to be fighting ankhegs. The young do 2d4 + 1d4 acid + grab.

The adult (which was in a different spot) does 2d6+4 + 1d4 acid + grab. Burrowing underground, it bursts forth and attacks.

I'm sorry for the posting delays everyone. My job occasionally requires me to appear in court. The prep for that, along with the time spent being there, adds up to a very big chunk of time. It's about the only time I have to take work home with me.

I had to go at the end of this week, and now I'm sick with a fever. Hopefully I'll be getting back to normal tomorrow, but today I'm just sleeping.

As a GM, I'm specifically interested in where the gladius you found is and whether or not the colonists (or Urram) may have noticed it being worn.

I'd never specifically said so, but I figured Fenna would keep the sword herself. It's not the type of thing she normally uses, but a magical sword could be handy in a pinch so best to have it within reach.

@Urram: For you reference, I think that the fields that we're in the process of clearing are those marked A15 and A16 on Fenna's Colony Map (link at the top of the page). The adult ankheg is at A13 "pitted land", to the north of the settlement.

I think Kari's Kinetic Blast can damage an incorporeal creature.

The kineticist rules state: "All damage from a kinetic blast is treated as magic for the purpose of bypassing damage reduction."

There is a FAQ stating that "counts as magic" for purposes of bypassing damage reduction allows an attack to damage incorporeal creatures.
