The thread title may or may not be false advertising.
Welcome, homies, to my second play through of SnS.
Now, for the meaty bits.
Books allowed: Pretty much anything on the SRD, Psionics, and Path of War (can be found on d20pfsrd.com). Magical items for psionic classes and guns aren't a part of the AP as written, so these classes may have to save their pennies to acquire specialized gear.
Specific Bans: prestige classes from Inner Sea Gods. Sacred Geometry.
I'm actually debating a point buy or rolled stats. Let's go ahead and roll. 4d6 drop lowest. Let's see where they end up and then I'll adjust as necessary to bring everyone on a level-ish playing field.
2 traits, one must be campaign. Optional drawback for a third
Rolled starting gold
I'm probably forgetting something, but that should get things started.
GO!

Oh lord Choon, what are you doing to us.
4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 4, 1) = 10 9
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 6) = 14 12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 6, 2) = 14 12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 3, 3) = 12 10
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 4, 1) = 10 9
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 6) = 13 12
Well then..., those rolls disappeared faster than a pizza at a weight watchers convention. This is going to have to be creative...
Which book has the stats and level progression for the villager class again?

Just so everyone knows, doing this campaign was originally conceived by the members an existing party with the intent being to run it with those players. I won't kick anyone out (that's mean), but know that said players have priority in selection.
Angel/Ed: wow. Ok, if anyone rolls under a 20 point buy, reroll.

4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 6, 5) = 18 = 15
4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 4, 1) = 14 = 13
4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 4, 1) = 7 = 6
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 2, 4) = 11 = 9
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 2, 1) = 10 = 9
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 2) = 10 = 8
Oof. Horrible stats.
4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 2, 2) = 9 = 7
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 5, 4) = 15 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 1, 1) = 14 = 13
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 6, 2) = 16 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 5, 3) = 15 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 6, 6) = 24 = 18
I suppose that's better. That 7 feels like an albatross though.
I'm thinking Oracle of Besmara multiclassing into Investigator.

ok that will beat a 20 point buy.

Wow. So that last one was a 10 point buy. Again!
4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 4, 2) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 4, 4) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 2, 4) = 15

4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 6, 2) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 6, 1) = 14
And a 13 buy.

4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 1) = 9 8

Finally! Workable stats! I'm going skald and thinking dwarf.

El Ronza |

Oh, man. The dice gods hate me. Nicoletta is still the only decent set of stats I've rolled...
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 4, 3) = 13 10
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 3, 5) = 14 11
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 4) = 14 11

4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 5, 3) = 18 15
Oh, for f&&~'s sake... 10 point buy?
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 2, 1) = 10 9
4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 2, 2) = 7 6 (f&%! that)

4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 4) = 14 11
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 5) = 20 17
Even if we count that 6 as a 7 for the purposes of determining point buy, that's a 14 point buy.
4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 1, 2) = 7 6 (again?!)
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 4, 3) = 13 10
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 4, 5) = 15 13

That's six points...
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 1, 4) = 13 12
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 4, 1) = 12 11
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 2) = 13 12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 5, 3) = 17 14
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 5, 4) = 17 14
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 1) = 8 7
11 points... Fifth time's the charm? -___-

4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2, 6) = 14 13
19. Urgh.
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 5, 2) = 12 11
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 5, 4) = 15 13
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 1, 2) = 7 6

4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 2, 5) = 9 8
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 3, 1) = 10 9
This is getting ridiculous.
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 3, 2) = 14 11

4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 4, 6) = 13 12
4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 3, 4) = 11 10
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 3) = 13 12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 3, 5) = 16 13
*eye twitch*
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 3) = 13 12
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 5, 4) = 21 17
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 2) = 13 12
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 3) = 16 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 1, 4) = 17 16
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 3, 5) = 14 12
*sigh* That'll do. Any suggestions?

El Ronza |

My local VC has a set of clear GameScience precision dice with blue numbers. I silently cheer each time I see him roll them as a GM, because they're more prone to failure than any other set I've seen. I'm convinced they're cursed.
Then I see rolls like my stat generation attempts above and I sit down to eat my humble pie.

ShadowyFox |

Now I've just got to get the stats figured. Really trying to figure whether the wisdom or intelligence will be his lowest score. Thinking wisdom, as I can see him as an individual who doesn't always think things through. More "we'll deal with the consequences later, as we'll have a good story out of it."
Thinking I've got a drawback decided (Oppressive Expectations), and I know at least one trait (a racial dwarf trait called Zest for Battle). I'm seriously thinking Besmara's Blessing for the campaign trait, but I'm not sure the third trait.

Edward Sobel |

I am making a Stalker from Path of War...
I cannot seem to find any decent pictures to visualize my character.
Human male and everything I find that looks good is mostly female pics.
also need to find a decent back story idea.
Thinking he is out in search of his missing older brother, their father was killed in an attack on our village and he is destined to assume the leadership role. but things get a little sidetracked once he reaches port peril. and he finds himself fighting to survive (dockside brawler trait)
the other campaign traits didn't seems to resonate with me.
for those that want to know I will be a bit of skills and stealth and a little front line. minimal ranged (mostly just thrown weapons) but still proficient with bows and crossbows if needed.

ShadowyFox |

For this guy, I'm definitely thinking skald will be a good fit. I can see the top three stats are Strength, Constitution, and Charisma, especially since his "rage" is based on Charisma, and not on Constitution.
It's definitely interesting trying to figure out how to determine the stats and which should be so low. I can see that Wisdom or Intelligence would probably be the low attribute, but I've never seen a skald played before.

Unbelievably, my S&S campaign I built my Swashbuckler for originally started up. I can't believe it! It's been on hold for four months and now suddenly the GM decides to roll it out. Hilarious!
With that being said, I am considering switching off Swashbuckler since I'm playing one over there. Ronnie had mentioned that previously if you wanted to go that route.
That leaves me clueless where to go now though, doh!
I think Ronnie had said Hunter. I may go Ranger now. Perhaps a Freebooter?
