True, and Hydros also can manipulate ice, and apparently to my understanding you can manipulate the water and such in the air. Most of everything doesn't require a specific source to work with.
Cool. Now that I think over it, I don't think there is a single setting in this AP that doesn't have some kind of water nearby. I could be forgetting something though.
GM, I was wondering if I could reskin Riverfolk to reflect Ausk growing up on the boats? I'm going to keep with the Adopted plan, so I can go the route of Zest for Battle dwarf racial. Gonna go Barroom Talespinner too. Now I just need to determine which of the two drawbacks to go with, update stats, and this ol' boy will be done.
Well that and his gear decided. I think that he's got a good chance of doing real well AND being fun. :)

Well, almost up to date. Just have to spend the gold and decide the feat for him. Thinking I'm either going for Skald's Vigor (which would give fast healing 2) or Arcane Strike (which gives me a +1 on damage with a swift action; and then every 5 levels it increases).
Either one could be real good. Thoughts?
If it was me, I'd be all over Skald's Vigor. Fast healing is bloody good. On the other hand, arcane strike sets you up for riving strike, which is amazing.
I've finally settled on plain old daggers. Weapon finesse, two-weapon fighting, and two-weapon defense. Focusing on thrashing dragon and scarlet throne disciplines. Wooooooooo.
Hmm...I think that Skald's Vigor would probably be the best first one to go with, and eventually I'll end up with the Arcane Strike stuff. Survivability is very important.
And I just noticed that, when it comes to making Ausk afraid, after level 2, it's going to be VERY tough. A +6 versus fear, between class and racial traits.
