Your call guys. I'm not a tactician by nature
I moved Krojun on the map. If we're dealing with a single file marching order that sounds good. If we're on open ground, I'd suggest Krojun stand abreast with Staryth so he can take advantage of AoO granted by his reach weapon.
I wouldn't worry too much about guarding the rear with this party. We don't have anyone that's super fragile.
Um... Krojun, you're sort of standing somewhere there's no space to stand. Silvio is balancing on the edge of the pool, which is fine, but Krojun right now would be about waist deep in a dirty pool of fish guts.

Nicolai will feel better if someone is at his back, rather than leaving it exposed.

Agree - the order is just sort of a rough guide. I think we'd try to stand two or three abreast when there's more space. And Silvio volunteers to bring up the rear to protect Nicolai. His AC is decent.
So revised order? Krojun, Strayth, Sera, Ruke, Nicolai, Silvio.

A Knights Tale is a fun movie for us geek types. Not the most cinematic or riveting of tales, but good fun. Also, Wash plays a guy named Wart, and Ironman's Jarvis is Chaucer :D
Chaucer was my favorite part of that movie.

I took a Chaucer class in College because of it. He really is an awesome character. I've debated making a bard after him, but never have because I feel I couldn't do it justice.

I'll agree that Wart and Chaucer make that movie what it is. An all time favorite of mine that gets played via my DVR at least once a month while I work on ongoing campaigns.
Might take me a bit longer to get to my next post. I need to clarify something that's confusing me about the Adventure Path.
I've just seen the part I missed that was forcing me to improvise. Welp, I've made my bed, now I lie in it.
Sorry 'bout the confusion, guys. Guess this is what I meant by "First time DM."
Should get better as time goes.
You have no idea how happy it makes me to hear that.

Not like that Mezegis guy. He's hopeless. =P

Dropping a note to all of my games. I'm out of the loop until Monday, fulfilling my VC duties and running a convention this weekend in Lexington, KY. I'll be back on Sunday but will probably be passed out from exhaustion and getting some rest. I'll see everyone on Monday!
If needed, please feel free to GM control me.

So it's sometimes hard to get people to do this, but one way to improve turn tracking would be to have each person and the GM post the round of combat that they're taking actions in at the top of each combat post. I wouldn't necessarily start that right now, but maybe next combat?
That could help, yeah, if you guys are willing to do it, so am I.
If you think it'll help, I'll give it a shot.
Hm. I'd like to clear up a question now:
Given that CotCT was written as a 3.5 adventure, it follows a rather fast XP progression, and levels might come relatively quickly.
Are you guys fine with that, or would you rather I slow it down a little to something more in line with Pathfinder's normal pace?
(when I say fast I mean it has the party level up from smacking Gaedren. The levels are somewhat more reasonable after that, but that first one is a bit of a shocker for me.]
I'm good with rapid, even disproportionately, leveling. Level ups are generally really good for getting everyone reinvested and focused on the game.

I'm fine with quick level ups as well. You get through the "one good roll from the GM and I'm dead" area quicker.
That too, says Krojun-takes-11-damage-in-one-hit.
Haha, good think it was Krojun and not Sera or Nicolai. You're a big guy, you can take it. ;)

I usually start my homebrew and table top games at 2 for just that reason. I don't like the "oops, I rolled good, guess you're dead" parts of the game (level 1, and high levels when you get death effects) I killed a fighter in a table top game with a random orc. Great axe crit= 30+ damage, do not pass go, do not collect $200.
Yep, Silvio would have been bleeding out in a croc jaw if you hit with the other end, lol.
The croc's tail would probably not have been as strong if it hit Silvio. Harumph harumph.

OMG, it's a cleric of Desna invasion!
EDIT: I call shenanigans over fixing the alias you posted under.
I have no idea what you're talking about, Sera. You must have failed a Will save against an illusion or something.

Just confirming, these are the level-up rules, right?
Max HP at first level, roll for subsequent levels. If you roll under the average, take the average, rounded up. (4 for d6, 5 for d8, 6 for d10 and 7 for d12)
Let there be dice rolling!
HP: 1d8 ⇒ 4
5 it is!

Hey all, I'll set up a loot list in Google Docs as soon as I get a chance. I keep track of the loot in my Kingmaker PbP the same way.

18 posts! Nice!
I crashed early last night. I'll be catching up now.
Now the question is do I pursue my original plan to be a thundercaller by class or just title alone. Do you guys have any input? Do you think our party is lacking for beefiness and I should stick to barbarian?

Play what you want :D We have a paladin and fairly beefy cleric to man the front lines too.
Both could prove useful in this campaign, therefore I shall remain impartial to the decision.
If you try one and it turns out to be unenjoyable or problematic, I'll have no problem with letting you switch back.
Who I am to argue with mighty Sera?
Krojun-takes-11-damage-in-one-hit shall be Thundercaller 1.

Nice. Unfortunately, complete updates will have to wait until I get off work and get to my machine with Herolab on it.

Since we haven't really talked about loot, I thought I'd throw this out. We use this spreadsheet in the Reign of Winter game I run to help divide the loot between sessions. Makes it easier to figure out who wants to put a claim on what, how things get divided, etc. People can go into the negatives and basically "owe" the party fund from future loot if they claim something expensive.
I'm all for using whatever method you all desire.
