S5's getting all about the subplots; I like it. Though, honestly, this one was entirely picked only because A: I was 99% sure Ashur hadn't played it yet and B: I'm 99% sure Tektite hasn't run it yet. It was pure chance that it was part of the same subplot that we just finished.
It's looking like some measure of diplomacy will be in order and we're lacking in healing so I'll be bringing my inquisitor. I need to get his profile updated.

On second thought, after reviewing my chronicles and recognizing that Marduk has a certain boon that expires in 6 days. I'll be playing him.

I actually don't recall where it takes place (it was almost a year ago!) but Kaer Maga sounds right.
Marduk is updated.
A few things:
1) Retraining exploded my Prestige points but all those new-fangled half-orc racial options are too nice to pass up.
2) Marduk has barkskin and stoneskin now. I'm going to ask for folks to pay for their own stoneskin if they're interested. Barkskin was also expensive but there's nothing you guys can do to help with the cost of that.
3) This scenario had better feature some centaur women.

That or survivability. I originally had everything planned out, but there was a very long hiatus and I forgot what else I was picking up.

ITWF seems like the obvious choice for killing power. A hasted touch-of-raged full attacking Erin in a flank is going to erase pretty much anything.
I like toughness for survivability. What has Erin been taking for her favored class perk?

Gang Up is nice, though less so with our smaller parties. Weapon Focus for Dazzling Display/Shatter Defenses is good too.
Tribal Scars might be appropriate after this scenario.

If you picked up the CHA ioun stone you could take skill focus/eldritch heritage. That's always fun.

I have weapon focus, and 2 ways to get flanks/feint through items. Always wanted to try shatter defenses, but I don't think it would work too well on her. I don't see tribal scars anywhere.

Wow, that is pretty awesome. Flavor-wise doesn't really work for her though.

My favorite EH is arcane for a familiar. I especially like it on rogues.
For two feats you get Skill Focus: Knowledge of your choice, Alertness, another perk (you could take Hedgehog for the +2 will saves), and double rolls on skill checks.

Yep, I'm a fan of Tribal Scars. Shin has it. One of the reasons most of my newer human characters are Kellid.

Ugh, the new APL rules are terrible. We're average 8.75 but because we're a four person party, we have to play down. I need to make it a point to rally for changes next campaign rules update.

Toughness is good, so is EH for a familiar like a hedgehog or a turtle would be good. I'm closing the other thread as we speak.

Burglar, do you suspect we might overpower the mod in such a way as to not be fun? Even though I prefer smaller tables, if we pull in a fifth it'll be easier to get to 10-11.

Season 5 has done a good job at scaling (better than 4 did in my opinion.) Plus, I'm a horrible judge of power scale; I couldn't honestly say. Just know that skill DCs ALSO go up (like they should.) So some of the things you're more deficient in will be even harder.

That said, the final call pretty much up to you, as I don't care one way or the other. I'll just note that S5 Society is trying for a kinder, more "demon-massacre", less "muderhobo for ancient swag rumors", leadership direction (in my perspective.) Probably so all those characters built for knowledge rolls aren't left totally out to dry in lieu of faction missions being more limited, grumble grumble three characters with Bardic Knowledge...
