GM Burglar, I can’t access the Excel map at work. So this is based on guess-work and the ‘pretty’ map.
Liked the M is for murder comment, Súrë.
Luisila is frustrated by the number of tactical options she has.
I can’t see a way of healing Big Bad Bird’s victim, without healing Zynep the Fair. #5
She calls out. “I want to heal the fallen man, but not with three opponents still up. He’s going to have to take his chances this time round. BUT, if we can drop Snouts on Pesh and Spider-Maarv, #1 & #2 we can all gang up on Zynep the Fair. I’ll feel a lot better about my channelling including Enemy Zynep then.”
She decides to *cast* Bless and move ahead the equivalent of 30’ North-North-West onto dry land.

GM Burglar |

Now that I'm logic-ing through it, I don't think you Ranger/Druid-esque folk have to actually roll if its a trick they know; it's a free action to handle, so you can spam it until you don't roll that 1-or-a-2-that-fails. It's only if you have to push them (or handle a not-animal-companion animal) that action economy matters.

Yeah, after my first screw up I double-checked the rules. It's a free action and DC 10 to command them to do a trick they already know. I can't fail that with the +4 HA bonus for being its master so I won't bother rolling anymore. You only have to use a move and the higher DCs to push them to do a trick they don't know. I wondered why I never remembered rolling HA before when I played him the first time.
