Inwas hoping I could just get Aldern and me. I'm on the road today and I haven't been able to get to the map. If I'd get everyone, or almost everyone, I'll just turtle up and take a total defense action.


@Elena: You go after Jim, Jace and Zie who all move into melee, so you would hit everyone but Raj at this point. Total Defense it is.

Jace heals up Elena quickly, hoping to keep her from death's door, as Jim, Zie and Raj launch into an offensive, but their attacks fail to strike the quick moving undead swashbuckler.

He slashes at the woman as he screams. "Do not fret, my dear! We will kill your friends together!" he cries as he slashes twice with the large razor.

I will take 5 of Elena's damage from Lifelink. I will put a status effect on got on people as a reminder in my posts as I know it is hard to remember.

Jace tends to his wounds and continues to try and keep Elena standing. His face begins to sweat as the Skinsaw Man presses against his defenses. He never knew this amount of pain and it only fueled his anger.

I was thinking Zie could move out of Raj's way so Raj could get up to the fight; with Point-Blank Master Raj can shoot from adjacent to Aldern without eating AoOs, and he won't have the cover penalty any more.

Jim lashes out at the man after he moves into flank with Jace, but the blade of the ghoul is quite quick and parries his first strike.

Fortification, Lesser-High is Good for Jim: 1d100 ⇒ 1

Jim, however, easily dodges the clumsy riposte from the man and cuts devastatingly across the chain shirt of the ghoulish man, however his slash seems to catch on the shirt, causing it to miss the vital section.

Zie flails against the man uselessly as Jace heals up the defensive Elena, repairing most of her wounds once more.

@Jace: 3+8+5 is 16, not 18 unless I'm missing something. Also, you would heal up Zie and take so more damage. I think the health totals are accurate.

I don't know how Raj got three attacks last round, so I'm giving him two.

Raj moves in close and fires his arrows point blank at the ghoulish swashbuckler, but the man quickly dodges both of the projectiles.

The first strike misses as it catches the nearby rock wall, but he grinds it out of the stone and slashes at Elena's torso, cutting her deeply as he tries to finish her off with his bite.

But the half-hearted attempt only scrapes along his meager clothing, not leaving a scratch.

Jace absorbs some of the damage taken by Elena and The Skinsaw Man turns to the paladin as he sees her wounds close. "You cannot save her, pathetic weakling." he admonishes as he looks like he will continue to attack her even if she is unconscious.

Using precise bombs to avoid damage to Elena and Jim. Splash damage is 5. Use a Ki point to add +4 Dodge to AC.


Are you attacking from point blank (thus incurring an AoO)? Also, don't Jace, you and Raj also have to make Splash saves? Also, a crit with a bomb is always 1d6+Int+Modifiers, not the current damage of the bomb (3d6 in this case.)

Sorry, I moved the icon back 5' on the map, but didn't describe it. That should avoid the AoO unless he has 10' reach. Didn't realize the 1d6 vs 3d6, so I will note that. Since Zie moved back, no splash there. And in present state, Intelligence isn't high enough to avoid everyone...(Sorry Jace and Raj) which would have been easier to swallow had I not rolled 3 ones for damage!

Raj got three attacks by burning a ki point during a flurry of blows. Since you missed that and I'm a day late in posting (on the road and entertaining guests yesterday), I'll skip it.

Zie steps back from the group and rewards the ghoulish man with a bomb to the face, but the guy steps the side just as it is about to hit and only takes minor damage. Jace and Raj are also rewarded with the burn as well.

The former, Jace, heals himself up with Lay on Hands as he swings his sword but the lithe ghoul easily steps to the side as Raj fires off a trio of shots, using his inner Ki to move quicker.

Jim's sabre is blocked to the side with Aldern's claw as he viciously strikes the man with his razor, drawing a deep wound, though Jim returns the favor with another slash from his short sword, striking a vital point.

Seeing Elena fallen to the ground, the man grins as his ghoulish venom drips for the tip of his slavering tongue. "Hmm... Who next?" he says, looking directly at Jim. "You seem quite capable!" he yells as he takes two slashes at the man.

Zie steps back in, using snake style to try and dodge any returning attacks. He also uses a point of Ki to make the attacks magical.

Since Jim is down, I don't want to move forward without his post.

Raj fires off two arrows, trying to aim for a perfect shot, but he ends up only landing the second arrow, but it does a bit of damage.

Elena remains paralyzed on the floor as Jace takes a huge swing with his sword, though he finds that the man is quite wily and easily dodges the attack.

Zie uselessly claws at the man, but he seems to not even give a second thought to the man's attempts to attack as he easily sidesteps both swipes.
