Well done, Skivane. You have avoided bloodshed from those honorless dogs, he declares, following behind her with weapon drawn.
Just wanted to point this out to show that I should be right behind Skivane, so I'm moving myself up too if that's ok. Assuming that is...
Zuriel holds up the wayfinder hanging from his belt.
I'm Zuriel Heihachi and we are all agents of the Pathfinder Society. That scepter will not do anything--it's a fake. Are you Zamir? We have a proposal for him on behalf of the Decemvirate.
Jhon Doe |
@Mumbly, i think all can talk. As long as all offer him to work for the Decemvirate
Keep the scepter if you like. Consider it as part of your payment if we make a deal.
We know you who you were working for, and we know you have stealing Society artifacts for some time. But it ends today.
If you want to continue living this kind of life, you should change of employers. The Aspis Consurtium will not provide you with more easy targets, but our society can pay you well enough for your smuggler abilities. You´ll no regret of having as as associates instead of enemies

The idea is if we are all in the conversation then we are all notionally assisting a person or supporting a view, if one or two hang back, they can then move in with a counter offer or proposal if the first conversation stalls or goes badly - just keeping all of the eggs out of the same basket :)
Mumbly prefers to wait til more info is out there, then steer the good ship Diplomacy in the direction he needs it to go...
Mumbly makes a show of parking his walking stick whilst he lowers himself into a comfortable position.
"Sorry, my leg, hard to run around on these days - things change in life eh? One minute you are the up and coming captain out of Blackcove and a growing reputation for seagoing mastery - the next you are a one legged sailor with a curse, and hard to find an honest vessel to sign on to, and nothing you can do except grasp the best of what is put in front of you and accept that time and circumstance have good headwinds and following seas - they'll slip past you quickly if they feel like it or you are slow to act. This is a good chance for you to get on the good ship fortune and continue to do well for yourself, think it through - Jhon made you a fair proposal - better than a wooden leg" he taps his peg for emphasis.
Kenji Nishida |
Kenji sneers slightly, but doesn't speak, knowing his efforts will only mostly likely harm the party's efforts.

Because gold is not a true measure of power--the Aspis only care about gold, and look what happened when you tried to rely on them for protection and assistance. The Pathfinder Society is about more than coin and treats their allies very well. With us you will still have wealth, but also security. We dispatched your guards easily enough, and we cannot be bought. And most importantly, with us you shall have the only thing that matters when long years have passed--your name will be written in the tales that are told long after you have perished from this realm. To be remembered and not forgotten, that is wealth beyond compare.
Jhon Doe |
Jhon´s nods silently as Zuriel talks.
To be remembered and not forgotten... I can´t have said it better
GM Bold Strider |
Zuriel seems to convince the man as he nods along with his words. The large cat yawns and pads over to a bowl of raw meat and begins to gnash and bite.
"You make a good point..." the two men spend the next hour striking a deal. The bandit lord drives a hard bargain, but Zuriel feels that he has successfully recruited the man to their cause.
