Sacerdos Echthileon |

GM, looks like I've got what I can cram into the title line. I've also added in the cleric spells known I'll start out with for the first session in my Character Sheet. Let me know if it'd be easier to have a spoiler entry on each of my posts. I can always cut and paste it from a save sheet.
Something like this:
0 - Detect Magic
0 - Read Magic
0 - Light
1 - Cure Light Wounds
1 - Shield of Faith
1 - Protection from Evil (Domain)
Wis 18(+4): DC 10 + 4 + Spell Level
Daily Powers
Channel Positive Energy (6/6)
Touch of Good (7/7)
Touch of Law (7/7)

Bedlam looks around as he walks pass some bushes.
I'll just pretend I didn't hear something....
and he continues on toward the small town up ahead

GM please let me know if I am posting too much. I don't want to cause any faux paux as this is my first time in this format. And what is 'dotting'?

GM BigBusMan |

I beleive that dotting is jost showing up and saying your here just so I know they are aware of what is going on, and post as much as you want, activity is good, if the others start complaining ill let you know, but usually they will give you in game clues like looking at you funny, or saying something smartass to you, I think..lol..

It happens. I work Monday until 7pm...someone took this week off so I will be working later than normal this week. Be home after then, eagerly awaiting posts.

Pierce "Spears" Friggens |

All the players have posted, correct?
I just don't want to get too far ahead of everyone.
For the record, I am in the KC area, so Central time. Depending on how work is going, I can post during the day and in the evening as long as I have internet access, or I can post from my phone, as well.

Lorilon Minkmasher |

Worth noting: I'm from Norway, so I'm at GMT+1. (Which also means that English is not my first language, so my punctuation errors and other grammatical errors come from that fact).

Pierce "Spears" Friggens |

No worries Lorilon, had you not mentioned it, I wouldn't have noticed.
I almost said something about not having the oddest name to Carrion, but I figured the gnome and the lady had almost come to blows, so why risk it.
;)

I'm from the UK, so currently GMT+1 too.

Look up Combat Reflexes in the CRB.
You may make a number of additional attacks of opportunity per round equal to your Dexterity bonus.
Additional=1+Dex bonus because everyone receives 1
I learn to read each word of a rule carefully. It only takes 1 word to mess your interpretation of it.

I apologize, my campaign tab wasn't showing any updates. I am here. I am reading in the IC thread to get caught up.
And caught up, apparently, you didn't really need me.
I do apologize, been really waiting for combat to start. I'll check more often and actually go into the thread to check for updates.

Bedlam Bottomland |

I am extremely experienced with 3e, 3.5e, and I have been playing Pathfinder for almost 2 two years now. I absolutely love it and any time anyone needs assistance please ask. I game at my place every other Sunday so I have a lot of scenarios already practiced...lol.
That being said...what and how do I get a campaign tab going? I ALWAYS refresh the threads....lmao!

![]() |

I have almost 10 years of gaming xp (over half DMing, but not consecutive), and anything I can provide I will. I'm far more experienced with 3.5, but I can aid with most anything.
As to the encounters, I would say CR+1 actually, to give an actual threat. There has been a total of 8 damage (2 attacks at 4 each) throughout the party. I like games with an element of danger, not to say there is none here.
Right now there is no organization or tactics, everyone charges in and wastes the enemy.
My players have said I'm a "killer DM" because I make them try, they must work together to succeed, use synergy, and all those items they try to hold on to forever, and never use I make them use. I push them, but I give them the tools to succeed; so long as they use their abilities and know their characters they should be fine, damaged and sometimes fighting for their lives, but they enjoy it.

Gavmania |

Reach fighters really rock once they get to level 4...Whirlwind attack was made for them. Then Lunge at level 6...hitting anything within 15' destroys mooks in no time flat.
Of course they suffer against BBEG.
I'm with you Lord Viper 69, while I wouldn't try to kill off the pcs, I do like to give them a challenge and a well thought out encounter can turn simple goblins into a terror. At this stage, we are still feeling each others styles and capabilities, so having something not too challenging is ok. Just beef them up a bit or add more goblins.

Gavmania |

Well, it's working, sort of. A little bit more combat wouldn't hurt; seems we have a cadre of highly experienced role-players, with well thought out characters that are powering through the goblins a little too fast: I still haven't taken the measure of Spears or Lorilon (not their fault; combat was over too fast), and Sacerdos and Carrion are not martial builds so I would not expect them to do a huge amount in combat. Their turn will come.

![]() |

Probably won't go the Whirlwind attack route, considering I have to get Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack and Combat Expertese. My level 2 feat will be Pushing Assault (So I can hit enemies and push them back with attacks). At level 3 I'll take either Endurance or Cleave and at level 4 I'll take weapon specialization (for the extra damage).

Bedlam Bottomland |

We do need to remind ourselves that this AP is just getting started and GM is absolutely correct. That initial combat was not meant to be difficult. It was to just set the Goblins up.
I read that much when I bought the Anniversary edition last year, but I never had a chance to run it.
That being said, with a party of 7, the apl is higher so the crs need to go up when we actually do get into the 'meat' of this AP...
I am having fun! Thx to all of you....nice group we have here!
