When you get a chance, please post here with the following information:
-Player name
-PFS#
-Faction
-Day job
You can also use this discussion thread to talk about any OOC things.

Well, that was remarkably painless to get set up!
Name: Stephan W. Pfuetze
PFS#: 7275-5
Faction: The Exchange
Day Job: None
By the by, I know The Confirmation doesn't have the old faction quests, but I plan on having Nikolai partake in them. A lot of them were fun, and I like the idea that Guaril is forcing Nikolai to do extra stuff for him in exchange for not telling the Sczarni back home where he is.

Thanks for running this one. I've never done The Confirmation, btw.
Player name: Will send PM
PFS#: 174458-4
Faction: Sovereign Court
Day Job: Craft (Alchemy): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

I've done the Confirmation less than 10 times.

I'm not really available today but will return to regular posting after tomorrow or so. It may take me a bit to catch up on all my games.

GM, I just discovered that if you use Google Slides instead of Google Drawings, mobile users that can install the Slides app can move their tokens from that app.

Thanks, I'm using Drawings for now but I will look into that (never used Slides).
Sorry for the delay in updating--I had a good Father's Day, and I hope all of you fathers did too!

Sorry to leave you all hanging like that. I had regular gaming night. Just got back and had some time to think things over. I don't think I've 'got' it, but I'll make up a large'ish in-character post. That way we can wrap this up, whether I got to the solution or not.

I agree with GM Bauers' comment in the gameplay thread. I've had some more time to think about the puzzles today and just made another post with a crack at the last three. I'm a bit confident about the coins, I don't see many other options regarding the fish, and the pebbles are a bit of a crapshoot. But I've had my fun with it, so feel free to join in. It was frustrating, in a good way. :)

Animal companions are never smaller than Small unless modified by some spell or effect.

Seleena, can you please post the following:
-Player name
-PFS#
-Faction
-Day job
I'm filling out the chronicle sheets--I think we'll finish this tomorrow and I'd like to send these out to you guys. Just need your info. Thanks!

GM Bauers |

Kazzak, you posted the wrong PFS number, but I figured it out. Might I recommend to all of you to put your PFS number for your character in the profile in case something like that happens, to make it easier on your GMs?
Seleena, your character is coming up as a "Core" character, so it's saying your prestige doesn't count...
Chronicles coming in a couple minutes.

![]() |

Huh? It should just convert her to non-Core...

GM Bauers |

I put it in and it came up as Seleena, but Core. It might just be a reporting problem with the system, I'm not sure but I'm sending you a chronicle regardless.

![]() |

Well, I registered her as Core (no reason not to when you first make a character--a Core evergreen might open up before a non-Core one), but you can switch from Core to normal at any time. I understood that happened automatically to any Core characters that participate in a game with non-Core characters.

GM Bauers |

I assume it's just a glitch in the reporting system. Let me know if you need anything further from me.
Thanks for playing, everyone! I will keep the thread open for a day or 2 so everyone can get their chronicles. Can you please post in this thread to let me know you've successfully downloaded your chronicle so I know when to close the thread?

![]() |

I've also got my Chronicle. Thanks GM for hosting, and the others for playing. I really enjoyed myself! It's actually one of my first games on the forum here, and the one to finish first.
I like the medium, but it takes some getting used to the pace of the game. On the one hand PbP lends itself better for some in-character chat and roleplay among the party. On the other hand, the story also has to progress at a decent pace. I think we struck a decent balance? Although I hadn't quite expected the scenario to be over already. The minotaur felt like a suitable 'end boss', but we still had some clues and one part of the dungeon left to explore.
As I said, this was one of my first PbP games here. Any suggestions or tips/tricks, feel free to suggest them to me. On the mechanical side of thing, I'm slightly reconsidering going Inspired Swashbuckler. As we have seen, only piercing weapons can be a bit of a liability. :)
About the Core character: I think I read that earlier a lot of Core characters accidentally got switched over to normal due to reporting, without the player being aware. I can assume that they changed the reporting to account for that and to avoid Core people being stuck with a normal character unwittingly.

![]() |

Yes, if I recall, there's a half of the dungeon we didn't look at. I forget what's in there, since it's been awhile since I've played this one. Probably 1d4 tarrasques. :-P

![]() |

You can still use non-piercing weapons--they just won't recharge your panache or work for certain deeds.

![]() |

Part of the replayability of the Confirmation lies in only exploring part of the cave each time.

He seemed fine to me. What makes you want to change?
