Hi GM Batpony,

I'm new to all this so please go easy on me, especially when I make newbie mistakes like double posting, blasting to all (if inappropriate) or any other errors.

Hope you don't mind a few questions:

1. I understand that we are using pre-gens for this scenario. You mentioned that you will post the relevant information soon, but could you clarify what you mean when you say you dont require a stat block?
2. Is this messageboard where we will post on a daily basis? Or is this a general discussion board and there is another messageboard just for the scenario?
3. How will dice rolls be done for this scenario? May I know what is ur preferred system?
4. I wish to reassign the chronicle to a different character.

1. I believe Batpony means you don't need to copy all the pregen's stats into the alias if you don't want to, but you should have stuff like AC, Saves, Initiative, HP, and Perception bonus listed.
2. Look just under the title where it says 'GM Batpony We Be Goblins Too', there's a tab labeled Gameplay. That's where the action will be.
3. The forums have a built in dice roller. Type [ dice=Whatever]1d20+100[/dice], but leave out the space to get Whatever: 1d20 + 100 ⇒ (11) + 100 = 111.
5. Bold is used for dialogue, if you say it out loud, use [ b][/b] around whatever you're saying. Again, leave out the space.
Italics are often used to indicate what you're thinking, if you're saying it to yourself, use [ i][/i].
Out of Character is exactly what it sounds like, use [ ooc][/ooc] for that.

It's good form to summarize or link to the rules for any spells you may cast, links are done with
[ url=Put link here]The text that will be the link[/url]
Spoilers are important for hiding things or just reducing clutter, use [ spoiler=Label]The stuff that is spoiled[/spoiler] to get

It is also good form in combat to summarize your actions taken that round, something like
Move 30' to wherever
Swift action to do something
Standard action to do something else
Free action to do another thing

Think he's got most of it summarized for everyone. I'm going to add a little, typical stats blocks you see are like this, placed into the class/level bar for your character profile:
UC Rogue 1 | HP: 8/11 | AC:17 T:14 FF:12 | CMB:0 CMD:14 | Saves F:+2 R:+6 W:+1 | Init:+10 | Per:+6 (+3hidden objects)
I do have access to all of this easily in one page so I won't need it all, but I would like it if everyone could post their HP, any conditions, tracked skills/abilities if any.

Also I'm going to be a cheat and link GM Lithrac's profile page as he has some good PbP tips linked there.

I've uploaded everyone's character info on the "Handouts and Maps" link under my name. The character's backgrounds are on the last two pages but feel free to roleplay the goblins anyway you want! When you're ready please post on the gameplay tab, and we'll take it off!

Chuffy, don't worry about reposting.

Dotting is a to just put a post in the gameplay thread before the game starts so that the system recognises you as a player and subsequently you'll get updates for the thread on the campaign tab in your profile.

It's especially useful to go to that tab to check which of your pbp games are updated when you have multiple sessions going on.

This seems accurate for a goblin gathering. Semi-organised chaos, immediately devolving into cheating, accusations of cheating, counter-cheating, and shouting.

I'm enjoying every minute of it!
