If I just take Benson's rolls, that'll be good enough, everyone helping is icing on the cake.

The party works together, releasing the seedling from its tether. The seed is warm to the touch and... it seems to pulse with life. However, immediately afterwards, a trio human-sized and shaped plants appear near the exit.

DC 19 Kn: Nature:

These are yellow musk mothers; a variation of the yellow musk creepers that can spawn yellow musk 'zombies'. They can release a spray of entrancing pollen at a target within 30'. Those who fall victim are helpless as they then move towards the yellow musk mother to allow it to insert tendrils into the prey's brain and start feeding... The tendrils also have a large reach.

The newly formed plant humanoid thing is a yellow musk spawn, a zombie-like creature made of twisting vines covered in orange flowers. they are faster than typical undead zombies, but otherwise fight as similarly. Luckily, they do not have any resistances to weapon types.

Meanwhile, Marduk helps Benson by pummeling his surprise attacker!

The next plant then looks at Aspex and shoots a spray of pollen at her!

Alright, apparently it's a thing to lose a player during one of these games <_< hopefully things are good with Aspex's player.

@Benson: My fault on the map, I forgot to remove the Yellow zombie after botting Wyeth's attack; I moved you up a bit closer to attack the Yellow plantman thing.

Benson moves up and cuts the nearest plant person while Aspex reloads, jamming her crossbow.

Strangely, as soon as Benson gets into his position, the vines around the seedling cradle begin to wilt...

The yellow plant thing creates another spawn, behind Benson, and it attacks him!

You can choose to move as your first swing was all you needed

And with that, calling combat as with all of the parent plants defeated, no more spawns will arise, although I realized I missed Benson again...

The party makes short work of the last plant zombie, although the plants in the cave begin to rapidly wilt.

Marduk finds a couple of goodies the party missed while being mystified by the seedling. First, there is an amber necklace that lies on the ground. Additionally, the half-orc also finds that the seedpod next to the cradle contains a sweet-smelling syrup that seems useful, which is attached to a vine that is different than the others.

Necklace is non-magical, but does have material value!
