Welcome Pathfinders
I do like having headers. I'm not overly picky as long as you have HP, AC, CMB/CMD, Saves, and Perception modifiers. If you need help with formatting it, I have a link in my profile. Please make sure your profile is complete.
If you have a dayjob, go ahead and roll it now. If there are any special nuances with your character I should be aware of, be it strange combinations or an obscure ability/trait, please share. It's better for us to get any confusion handled ahead of time vs in the middle of the game.
Finally, go to the map link above and fill in your initiative and your preferred location in standard marching order. If you don't fill in these two sections, I'll have you go last in initiative. I do tend to use block initiative format.

Changed my place in marking order to the front, since it seems no one is thrilled about that location. If someone would like to lead, be all means speak up and I'll move. I'm not picky

Currently encountering a great deal of problems posting. It's actually very strange as my PC isn't able to connect to paizo's site through my home connection and neither is my phone using the same connection. I can access the site perfectly through phone but only it I disable its connection tomy home's Wi-Fi. Everything else works fine so I suspect this to be an issue with the site and my IP but I can access my account just fine if I use my phone without my home's internet connection. I got no warnings of bans or anything else so I'm wondering about what's happening. Can't really keep up posting unless this situation is solved

I just discovered the gameplay thread had been connected this whole time. Shoot! I'll post something post haste.

![]() |

Wait, does Angela not have an action? Her initiative seems pretty good but she isn't on the turn order list.

![]() |

The maximum damage is 2d6. That 3rd damage dice changes the entire combat: Baltzar is conscious and, pending Fort save, at the very least able to move out of AOE zones, others aren't spending time on trying to drag him, and, I believe, everyone would still be conscious round 2, including Dr. Whiskerton having his full two actions in round 1.

![]() |
Baltzar just pointed out that I put an extra dice into your trap. I believe that the only real fair thing to do is to roll the combat back to the beginning of the encounter. I'm giving the group the option to either go with the dice rolls in the beginning of combat i.e.: Initiatives, saves, and 2d of the original damage, or reroll all of it. Please post here either "stay the same" or "reroll" When I get a consensus of 4 I'll go back and get the combat going again. Thanks your understanding, and pointing out the typo...

Stay the same
But before that: who's got the alchemical goods? We need them thrown at the swarms, so we need to know who's got them, there was a lot of useful stuff there IIRC.

![]() |

Stay the same, since I know I can channel us up. Baltzar took a portion of the alchemical items. I'll have to double check, but I believe one fire and one acid.

![]() |

Wait Baltzar didn't take all of them? Angela would definitely have picked up an item or two if he hadn't. Oops, and just for posterity, what kind of action is it to search an ally?
Edit:
Baltzar collects the book, the tonics, and a flask of acid.
"These supplies might be useful later on," he points to the tanglefoot bags, "Especially these."
Baltzar starts to look around the old man's table. Beside his workbench is a rack of alchemical substances containing 2 acid flasks, 4 alchemist’s fire, 2 smokesticks, 2 tanglefoot bags, 2 thunderstones, and 4 vials of filth fever tonic. Sitting open on the workbench is a large tome titled Toxins and Countermeasures, written by Giacomo d’Enzinas. The alchemical materials on the workbench constitute an alchemist’s lab, plus 240 gp worth of raw materials for Craft (alchemy).
I guess he didn't. For some reason I thought 'tonics' meant 'everything,' oops. Angela is definitely running back after this fight is over. Those should be very useful.

If we could regroup and reset here, I think we'll be fine vs the swarm. I have a couple things I can do vs the swarm and I believe our channel does as well.
I have a breath weapon and an aoe explosion that hurts everyone (including me) within 10 ft.
I blame paizo's site issues last week for our lack of cohesiveness. :-P

I think a lot of people are still confused by the map (possibly me, too) I think the gm has set it up so that there are three different levels: the original map and walkway, then to show the walkway extending further to the left he put in the green arrow, but people had already moved beyond that level and thus the red arrow showing the third iteration of the walkway, Stonelance and Yelek are on that level. Angela was 40-45 feet away from Stonelance and Baltzar as of the current map is 50-55 feet away. His light wouldn't reach that far, but Angela's torch does.

![]() |

I was confused by that, too. But then I looked further back and he had stated a double move from pretty much the edge of the map. And he was also confused by the map, and specifically said he was "keeping at least 30 feet" from them.

![]() |

Yay! Nasty river brought me into range of heals (I think...) :-D

![]() |

Well, running is the only thing Yelek can do, and seeing how we left a lot of useful stuff back I think it's a good idea doing so since you now have a light source different from Yelek's torch (one that does not ignite things).

![]() |

Same with syl'las, she is a precision damage dealer, looking for flanks. However, I do not have the carrying capacity for flask. In character though, she doesn't carry things like that. Two risky on espionage missions.

![]() |

What kind of half long are you? I thought they were helpful.
The kind that doesn't have the gp for an acid flask. *starts wailing in the corner.* :P

![]() |

Assuming everyone was nearby when that channel went off , everybody has full hit-points! Now we need to figure out str damage and diseases. We should have the filth fever tonics from earlier and I think we still have 2 to 4 alchemist's fires (did Baltzar use his own?), 2 acids, 2 smokesticks, 2 tanglefoot bags and 2 thunder stones. If no one objects Angela is going to take an alchemist's fire and a tanglefoot bag.

![]() |

Well we should be ready! If Angela's plan is too much or problematic feel free to skip over it or have enemies come from both sides (it only works for one direction...) Also is there a check for reinforcing the doors?

![]() |

Checked with GM Hmm and we are free to send a plea for a replacement to the lodge recruitment page. Looks like our GM dropped from the other one he/she was running as well...
Here's hoping we can get back on track quickly.

![]() |

Thank-you RePete! I've heard back from a majority of people about this and everybody seems to be wanting to find a new GM I'll get a post in the Lodge thread asking for a new GM.

![]() |

Our previous GM had the map link in his/her header.
Can't get link for you at moment as I'm not near a computer. :-/
