He drags himself out of the room and throws another fireball in.
Tauriell takes out her wand and casts invisibility on herself. Then she sneaks in carefully feeling around with her blade drawn. Until she steps on something. She bows down to feel what it is.
Tauriell moves to the corridor again and whispers to Hector "come in and smash the lights." pointing to the panels at the wall. She casts invisibility with her wand. She sneaks back in with her blade ready searching the room.
Hector stomps in and starts smashing light panels.
Hector continues to break light panes.
"Let's wait here for a few minutes." Tauriell suggests. "You'll see an interesting effect."
Abomentolor fails another save and drops unconscious.
Gwenhwyfar finally arrives where half of the group stands in front of a room around Abomentolor who lies on the floor.
"What happened?" She asks looking at the gnome.
"Poison. He felt weak and then he fell down. I guess he needs some kind of restoration. But you're the expert on that." Tauriell replies.
"Do you know what poison?" Gwenhwyfar asks while checking on Abomentolor.
Tauriell searches one of the fey if they still have some of the poison.
"It's that one. If you can identify it?" Tauriell suggests.
Gwenhwyfar gets up again and takes the vial from Tauriell. She looks at it, checks the consistency, opens it and carefully waves some air to her nose to check on the smell.
Gwenhwyfar takes a pouch with diamond dust and casts a spell that imbues the gnome with golden light.
"That should fix him. Are we done now? I didn't have useful spells to start with, but now I almost don't have any spells at all." Gwenhwyfar tells her dismay clearly showing.
She also spends her heal hex on Abomentolor.
Abomentolor opens his eyes again. Lying on the floor his corners of the mouth retreat to meet with his ears. "I'm glad to see you." he greets Gwenhwyfar. "We won, didn't we?"
It's hard to stay stern when confronted with such a smile. Gwenhwyfar smiles back. "You'll get yourself killed someday with your ruthlessness."
"I got myself killed already. How about you learn how to raise the dead. It may come in handy sometime." Abomentolor replies mischievous.
Gwenhwyfar wants to scold Abomentolor for taking this not seriously but then she stops. That's not some abstruse idea. It may actually come to pass rather sooner than later. She will gain healing power that beats even death. Now her smile becomes mischievous too. "Once I did I'll ask you to be the test object for that."
"And now get up. We need to get out of this dungeon and rest. That last one of the mercenaries has to wait. It's no use if we are beaten and lost too." she says offering the gnome her hand to help him up again.
"Yep. This gnome has only enough fire left to start a cosy chimney fire." Abomentolor replies, taking the offered hand and getting up.
"Are you in a hurry? Because I want to see what happens to them." Tauriell objects.
Tauriell picks up a handful of the dust and let's it run through her fingers. "As evil these creatures are - but they are beautiful in death."
"I want to check the last room on our way out." Jimmy says.
"That is interesting, what is happening?" he asks as the fey dissintegrate
"Well, not every creature starts rotting and becomes worm fodder after death. These fey become glowing dust. You can even use that to fight shadows." Tauriell explains.
She gets up and sighs. "But I guess we have to spread some more death in these dark rooms." She gestures Jimmy to lead.
"Ah, you're too starting to ignore my sound advice? You noticed that even Abomentolor agreed to call it a day, yes? What are you going to do if there is some serious threat in there?" Gwenhwyfar inquires upset.
"Did I miss something? Are you already married?" Tauriell asks with a grin. "He'll do what we all do. Run in, hope for the best and trust in you to patch us up again."
"There was a door, I plan to open it, look inside, and close it again." Jimmy says walking to the door
"Cool. Show me." Abomentolor demands standing five foot away with crossed arms.
Jimmy does what he said
Hector looks at the glowing dust and picks a handful too. He notices the tiny daggers and collects them. Then he follows the others.
"Can we go now, now that you got that out of your system?" Gwenhwyfar asks.
"I am curious as to where our last mercenary is. Abomentollor, are you completely our of fire, because it's plant's in there so I imagine they burn well." Jimmy says
"What do you think how far we'll get with a few burning hands and some more of my elemental rays? Would be good enough for half a dozen goblins. But not more." Abomentolor replies.
"How about I open and close the door before and after you throw a ray in?" Jimmy suggests
"Did you see someone in there, or why are you so intent on burning plants?" Gwenhwyfar asks feeling somewhat ignored.
"What are we talking here? Cutting daisies? Or a direct path to pushing daisies?" Tauriell asks as she didn't get a look.
"Well there is a giant pulsating tree thing."
"Sounds like fun. Let's save that for later. I don't want to do the best encounters early." Tauriell replies "I've had bad experiences with plants. Especially large ones. They tend to eat me."
"Yes, sure ignore me. Have fun all you want. You'll find me in the library when you're done." Gwenhwyfar says and leaves foaming.
"Are we going in now or not?" Hector asks. This standing around makes his back hurt.
"Gwen!" Jimmy shouts running after her
