Gwenhwyfar steps back as the woman comes closer, unsure if she should hinder her to approach Jimmy.
"I have to deal with nothing. But you sure retained your stubborn character. I'm not going to call you Jimmy, Mrs. Fiddle." Tauriell retorts.
"What are we going to do with me?" Jimmy stops as he sees Gwen step back. Looking down he notices what he isn't wearing. "Somebody please give me some bloody clothes. Please." Jimmy says sitting down on the floor, head in hands
Tauriell puts down her backpack and fetches a camouflage shirt out of it. She throws it at Mrs. Fiddle. "Try not to ruin it. It isn't made for your size and I want that back."
"Thanks." Is all Jimmy can say as he sits there. He runs his finger across the cut on his throat as he looks at his body
Gwenhyfar's eyes get wet. She approaches Jimmy and lays her hand on his shoulder.
Jimmy continues staring. He can't take his eyes off the body before him. "Thanks." He says flatly
"You're welcome." Gwenhwyfar replies also not sure how to call the woman.
She pulls on the clothes Tauriell gave her and moves over to her previous body. She sits next to it, as if she cant believe what has happened, placing a hand on it's arm.
"I don't care. If you want to be called Jimmy I'm fine with that. And if it's any consolation I think that change is an improvement." Abomentolor states looking at the woman.
"I can hear water, go get wet." Jimmy says without turning around
"What for?" Abomentolor asks.
"I felt telling you to go drown in a hole was a bit much."
"Just five minutes a women and already getting b#%!&y?" Abomentolor replies.
"How about I kill you and then see how b##*+y you feel?" Jimmy says grabbing the ranseur from his corpse and turning to level it at the gnome
Tauriell takes up her blade again. "I suggest you put that weapon down again before this escalates and someone gets hurt."
Gwenhwyfar moves back out of the way.
Abomentolor takes a step back and with a grim look on his face asks "Wanna find out how this would end?"
"That someone is going to be that f*+$ing gnome who doesn't know when to shut his mouth."
Gwenhwyfar uses her slumber hex on the woman.
Jimmy passes out
Gwenhwyfar places her bedroll and her blanket at the closest wall. She then picks up the woman under her arms and drags her to the place. There she leans her at the wall in a sitting position. Then she wraps the blanket she sat her on around the woman's legs.
Sitting down in front of her she waits for her to wake up again. As she does Gwenhwyfar greets her with a smile. "Welcome back. Please stay here with me. We need to talk."
"Jimmy or not. Are we going on now?" asks bored
"Why not. Where to?" Tauriell asks.
"That was a bit mean." Jimmy says to Gwen, "I fear necessary though."
Abomentolor grumbles "Runelord Big Tits here suggested I go drown myself. That would be that way." He points to the left corridor where the noise of gently running water comes from.
Niamh follows the way of the water. "He or she, no it stands just a bit next to itself."She tries to comfort Abomentolor before she remembers she isn't very good at it.
"It was a really gently way to end this fight before it began with no one getting hurt. Well maybe your feelings. But I wouldn't want to see how Abomentolor would have ended it." Gwenhwyfar replies.
After a pause she asks "How are you feeling?"
"That is a nice way of putting it. Jimmy standing next to his dead body." Abomentolor grumbles. "But that's Gwenhwyfar's problem now. What do we have here?" he asks looking around.
The wide corridor has a row of columns in the shape of a beautiful woman running in the middle. At it's end the hall opens here onto a balcony overlooking a subterranean river flowing to the east. The waters of the river are dark, while the walls and ceiling above are a breathtaking array of earthtones, the natural stone polished and smooth.
"I feel that that gnome needs someone to show him that he can't act the way he does all the time." Jimmy says still pissed. "Besides that I don't really know how I feel. How are you supposed to feel in a situation like this? I am happy that I am not actually dead, but I did die, and that freaks me out."
Jimmy pauses for a moment, "I saw you step away from me earlier." leaving it at that
"Yes aren't you proud of me? The last time a naked woman approached me I ran away without looking back." Gwenhwyfar jokes to cover her embarrassment.
"Well I wasn't exactly naked, just mostly." Jimmy says chuckling
"Are you gong to jump or shall I push you?" Tauriell asks the gnome as they stand above the river.
"I'm not sure if the water is deep enough. If his neck breaks before he drowns it wouldn't be correct. Except of if only the result counts..." Niamh tells Tauriell.
"And about teaching Abomentolor good manners. That is a noble endeavour. But it would have been hard to do while you were Jimmy in body and mind. I don't think you're in a position to start with it now."
"He is always bearable towards us. But I think you being part of us got at least a question mark to it with you dying and returning in this body. Abomentolor is the same as ever. He just treats you like someone he doesn't really know or like."
"Anyway, he is going to piss someone off who he can't beat, and he is going to get himself, and all of us, killed." Jimmy moans, and goes silent for a while
"Well I suppose to you I'm not me am I." Jimmy says, voice laden with sadness.
"You look into the world from your new body and nothing seems to have changed... as long as you don't look down at yourself." Gwenhyfar replies a tear rolling down her cheek.
"But from my perspective everything has changed. The Jimmy that saved me, that kissed me, that shared the most intimate moments with me lies dead behind that sarcophagus." She sobs and wipes her cheek with her sleeve.
"And looking at you while you know all this feels like looking at a stranger who spied on all that uninvited." she adds her eyes flowing over with tears while she keeps looking into the woman's face.
Abomentolor steps back from the edge suspiciously eyeing Tauriell and Niamh. "If any of you don't keep your hand with yourself I'll burn you all."
"What are we going to do now? I don't want to jump down." Niamh determines and looks down at the river to hide a grin.
"It looks like our gnome's sense of humour died too at that sarcophagus." Tauriell grins.
Abomentolor gives Tauriell a glare.
Niamh looks the gnome over. "No, I know this mood of him very well."
"I am sorry Gwen." Jimmy says as he looks at her, eyes hopeless.
"What can we do? I love you, but I understand that for you, I am an imposter. "
Tauriell chuckles. "You also have a bad case of dying humour?"
"But I'm not going back to that drama." Looking down at the river she decides that it wouldn't be too hard to swim in it and climbs down the balcony into the water.
Or she tries. Tauriell slides down the polished stone into the river.
Which is only three feet deep.
"I meant he had that mood before." Niamh corrects Tauriell and tries to climb down next to her.
But also failed.
"Not an imposter..." Gwenhwyfar replies struggling for words "I believe you that it's you inside. But I can't embrace you, I can't reach you, because this body is in the way."
"I know. It's the water that kills his mood every time."
"But you two can come down here. The water is nice and if you stand I can grab your hair every now and then to lift you up for breathing." Tauriell suggests.
