Gwenhwyfar Yongisdottir |

"Sure I have. But if you don't then it has to work without training. Or you could go and ask Tauriell. Maybe she has some training. Or she could do it better with her shard."
"This will be changed into a hospital and we are going to fix them." She then gets heal healing kit out and prepares what she needs to take care of these troglodytes. Also she uses her heal hex to close their wounds and prepares some bandages with salves to help wit the healing.

Tauriell |

"I think Gwenhwyfar knows best what to do. But if you're not willing to do that, I could. Maybe I'll learn something."
Tauriell puts her stuff down and asks "Tell me what to do."

Gwenhwyfar Yongisdottir |

Gwenhwyfar explains the basics to Tauriell and shows her how to apply the stuff from the healers kit. Together it would be possible to tend to the remaining dozen ill patients.
Gwenhwyfar takes the whole day to tend to them. Only in the night she leaves it to Tauriell to have a look. But the troglodytes also sleep then so this should be enough.
Heal: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
Heal: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
Heal: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19
Heal: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23
Heal: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Heal: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32

Tauriell |

Tauriell does like she is told. She is not able to come up with real empathy for these strong smelling creatures but it is interesting enough to learn something to keep her at it.
Heal: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Heal: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Heal: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Heal: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Heal: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Heal: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Jimmy Fiddle |

"I have learnt a thing or two about injuries lately. Let me lend a hand here." Jimmy says to Gwen as she tends to them
Heal: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Heal: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Heal: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Heal: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Heal: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Heal: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Heal: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
What can I roll to identify the worst off and closest to dead?

Niamh Mugin |

Niamh switches between playing her transverse flute and her violin. After a while she asks Abomentolor to light up her torches and starts juggling with them. Acrobatics(Juggling): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23
Niamh swallows two flames.
The halfling carefully takes some powder into her mouth and blows it into the flame. The flame kind of explodes and Niamh claps her hands in joy before she swallows the last flame and continues to play her instruments.

Gwenhwyfar Yongisdottir |

As Gwen dis a lesser restoration on all of them and a successful DC 15 Heal check for a whole day cures 4 points of attribute damage none of them will die. But removing the disease would allow us to move on, while doing the heal stuff would have to be repeated until they get well on their own (two consecutive saves)
"Thank you for your help Jimmy." Gwenhwyfar says smiling at Jimmy as he volunteers.

Abomentolor Goblinburner |

Abomentolor really enjoys the show. "You're good. It's no magical fire but it is fire. You got the right priorities." he compliments Niamh.

Gwenhwyfar Yongisdottir |

Gwenhwyfar casts remove disease on as many patients as she can.
CL Check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
CL Check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
CL Check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
"This is an improvement!" Gwenhwyfar states as the result of the combined care of Jimmy, Tauriell and herself are four more healed troglodytes and and vastly improved health on the others.
She leads the healed ones into the large cave that they no longer have contact with the sick ones.

Foxy Quickpaw |

Assuming you cured the ones that didn't benefit from the heal check special care then there are 7 ill troglodytes left that are now back to a constitution of about 7 to 10 and have a dex to allow them some movement again. That would allow for four days of adventuring without anyone dying. And even a chance of about 36% each that they get well on their own.

Azoresh |

Azoresh can't do much to help with taking care of the sick. In their tribe no one did. They either got well on their own or they died or Uggilo offered them as a sacrifice to their demon god.
But she stays around and sometimes in the way to learn about that. As she really liked when someone cared for her. And she hopes that her tribe will change for the better now.

Gwenhwyfar Yongisdottir |

Gwenhwyfar sits down outside the cave in the sun and thinks about how to get this tribe set up for a new path. Sitting there in prayer she decides to go the bold route. She tells Abomentolor that he should bring all the troglodytes to the large cave.
As all are assembled she asks Niamh to cast tongues on her. She climbs on the altar and uses this hour she is able to speak draconic to explain the basics of the faith of the Dawnflower, how to bring good to the world and not to be evil.
She performs a rite to consecrate the cave to Sarenrae. Which is only symbolic as she is not able to do the real magic rite. She then appoints Azoresh as their new spiritual leader giving her the wooden holy symbol of Sarenrae she got from her mother as a child. She sheds a tear while doing so partly because she has to give it away and partly because of the hope it might bring to this tribe.
"<You are now tasked with guiding your tribe for good and not evil. You are not the chief. Someone else will bear that responsibility. But you shall pray to the Dawnflower to receive her blessing for your tribe and guide and aid them on the new path you all start walking on now.>"

Foxy Quickpaw |

The rest of the tribe is interested to see what this human has to say as they are wondering what they want and only got second hand information from Azoresh about them wanting to help.
Most find this concept of being good for no reason strange but they are used to doing like they are told and getting healed is better as being sacrificed so they are not opposed to the new doctrine. Some argue why it hat to be Azoresh but if the mighty human cleric says so it's not up to them to question that.
As Gwenhwyfar is done the assembly breaks up. Some stay to see if more is said or done some shrug and go back to their caves.
There will be a cheesy happy end for all that :)

Foxy Quickpaw |

Yes it is. I thought I wrote something about Gwenhwyfar getting up and preparing spells before she healed the patients. But either it was only in my imagination or I accidentally erased that part of the post. For simplicity and the benefit of the troglodytes we simply assume you used the three LoH before prayer time and get your new ones after. So feel free to cure six more.

Jimmy Fiddle |

LoH, Cure Disease: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
LoH, Cure Disease: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
LoH, Cure Disease: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
LoH, Cure Disease: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
LoH, Cure Disease: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
LoH, Cure Disease: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
After prayer time Jimmy has a look over the still ill Troglodytes and does what he can to help them

Gwenhwyfar Yongisdottir |

These mercies are rather powerful aren't they?
"I hope this is enough to give them a start in the right direction." Gwenhwyfar says to Jimmy. "Do you think they'll make it?" she asks as it is hard for her to have faith that her one time intervention will be enough to break the traditions this tribe has lived with for maybe decades.

Tauriell |

Tauriell joins the two and asks "What are we going to do with Uggilo, the croco and this other dead guy. They start to smell rather unpleasant and I don't think it is healthy to have them lying around."
It is not really a question more the attempt to get someone else to take care of that problem.

Niamh Mugin |

Meanwhile yesterday
___________________________________
"Well then." Niamh leads out of the cave into the tunnel and walks straight ahead. "This way is okay for you, isn't it?!" She asks Abementolor not really expecting an answer. They are walking past the now dead solifugids and follow the tunnel.

Foxy Quickpaw |

The rough cave walls give way to a chamber of worked stone, with walls made of blue-veined white marble. The ceiling is supported by columns masterfully sculpted to depict voluptuous warrior women wielding two-headed guisarmes, with each column unique and strikingly detailed. At the center of the room, a ten-foot-square shaft leads down into the darkness below.

Foxy Quickpaw |

The dancing lights fly into the shaft and disappear in the darkness. There is still some faint light emanating from where the lights should be and the ceiling is somewhat lighted by that. But the shaft remains completely dark.

Initiative Statue: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Initiative Statue: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

Foxy Quickpaw |

Niamh is too slow. Before she can act the columns start moving and attack with their swords.
Attack Niamh: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Attack Niamh: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Attack Abomentolor: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Attack Abomentolor: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
As Niamh runs away the columns don't follow.

Abomentolor Goblinburner |

Abomentolor is unpleasantly surprised as he is hit by a sword out of the darkness.
Initiative: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
He follows Niamh into the tunnel. As it becomes clear that they don't follow Abomentolor stops and throws a fireball into the room.
