"Yes ma'm." Gwenhwyfar replies staring at the floor because she doesn't dare to look Mrs. Heidmarch into the face.
"Yes Ma'am. I am sorry we caused you an inconvenience." Jimmy says sincerely, looking at her
"Good."
"That's all." She says and returns to her paperwork.
Jimmy stands and waits for Gwen to stand before following her out of the room
Gwenhwyfar gets up and walks out together with Jimmy. Once the door is closed behind them she walks faster almost dragging Jimmy after her. Once the Manor House lies behind her some distance she relaxes a bit and takes a deep breath. "She always seemed so nice. This side of her is really intimidating." Gwenhwyfar tells her feelings.
Gwenhwyfar walks in silence with Jimmy to the guest house.
As Jimmy and Gwenhwyfar open the door the two things that catch their eye are the empty bottle of whiskey on the table and the run down clockwork servant standing in the room.
No one else is in the room as they are all sleeping in one bed or the other. The doors to the bedrooms are all closed.
Gwenhwyfar takes a look around the common room and the kitchen and states "It looks like the clockwork thingy packed up our stuff from the Crow and brought it here."
"The whiskey and most of the provisions are back here. I wonder where Carl and Ernard are."
"I am not particularly interested in searching for them right now." Jimmy says as he clanks towards his room
"You're right." Gwenhwyfar replies and follows Jimmy into the room. She helps him out of his armor and then goes to bed waiting for Jimmy to cuddle up to him.
It's good to be out of that armor. Thank you." Jimmy says climbing into bed and cuddling up to Gwen
The night passes uneventful. Some clouds come up and it starts raining. Because of this the sunrise can only be surmised as the black sky changes to dark grey and then grey.
Gwenhwyfar wakes up as Destinée jumps onto the bed. Seeing that there is no sun she decides to have her prayer time in bed. She carefully sits up trying not to wake Jimmy. In that position she remains for an hour.
As she is done she cuddles the cat and puts her down on the floor again. Then she wakes Jimmy with a kiss.
"Time for your prayer already?" Jimmy asks groggy
"No. I'm done. I'm going to make breakfast. Want to come?" Gwenhwyfar asks.
Niamh wakes up rather late and hurrys to jump out of her sleeping bag. That doesn't work really well and she hits the ground.
"Grmph." She looks at the bed to see if Daya is still sleeping. As she is Niamh creeps out of the sleeping bag and then hurries to the door... until she remembers that Tauriell has to fetch the breakfast and she, Niamh, has time to practice her playing.
So she walks outside and sits down in the middle of the labyrint with her three instruments and the new papers. Niamh starts with playing her violin.
"You don't have to." Gwenhwyfar adds as Jimmy seems indecisive. "I'm going to make eggs and bacon." she tells and walks to the kitchen starting to cook.
At the usual time the delivery boy from the bakery comes along. After going to the meeting house and delivering the Order for the Manor there he continues to the guest house and knocks. he shouts.
Gwenhwyfar just put the pan on the oven as it knocks at the door. She puts it aside and opens the door. "Hello. I'm sorry but I don't know if Niamh is up already. But I could take it too." she greets the boy.
"Here, take the two apple pies." the boy says.
"What do you get for that?" Gwenhwyfar asks her hands now full thinking about she will get at her purse this way.
"It is already paid. Good bye. the boy replies and leaves with his cart.
Gwenhwyfar places the pies on the table and returns to the hearth. She scrambles some eggs and fries some bacon. She lays the table and as she is done with the cooking she takes a large pot and a spoon. Hitting the pot with the spoon and shouting
She then takes a seat at the table and waits if someone comes.
Jimmy is out of the room in a dash to give her a hug as she sits down. "I am sorry I didn't help you dear. I just felt groggy this morning, like I forgot to do something important. Hmmm." Jimmy wonders aloud
"You're welcome to simply enjoy it. Breakfast is easy to do. It's just nice to have you around. But if you need some more time to wake it's fine." she replies leaning on him enjoying the embrace.
"Could I ask you to please wake me up when you do in future. It's nice to watch you." Jimmy says blushing
Tauriell hears the knocking and grins as it was a good idea to order the goods to be delivered to Niamh. There's no use in letting a delivery boy interrupt her sleep.
But the smell of bacon lures her out of her dreams. As she turns to get out of the bed she drops Abomentolor on the floor.
Drowsy she stumbles to the door and sticks her head out. Smilling a happy smile she takes in the smell "Good morning you lovebirds." She continues to a chair and sits down helping herself to some egg and bacon.
Gwenhwyfar blushes too. "Why would you watch me? What's so interesting about me?" she asks whispering a bit ashamed.
"And we are the lovebirds with you coming out of Abomentolor's room?" Jimmy scoffs as he sits next to Gwen
"The focus on your face as you pray, and when you pray outside, the light of the sunrise playing on your face make for a beautiful scene that I hope to never miss again." Jimmy whispers back
Abomentolor dreams a soft and cuddly dream as someone in his dream hits him with a 2 by 4 over the head. Opening his eyes he finds himself on the floor suddenly awake. "Hey. What's the matter with you?"
Tauriell looks behind her then at the empty bottle on the table and shrugging replies "Must have taken the wrong door last night."
Abomentolor comes to the table too. "Next time you come into my bed uninvited I'll kick you out!" he grumpily complains. But seeing the apple pie his mood brightens. He helps himself to large piece. "Where is Niamh? Did she leave after bringing the pie?"
Gwenhwyfar blushes even more. "Then I'll wake you before I start my prayer I guess." she replies keeping her eyes on her plate.
"I haven't seen her this morning." Jimmy says helping himself to a large portion of bacon
"Apple pie is my treat this morning. I guess Niamh is somewhere in the park. At least if no one else if playing fiddle here." Tauriell adds.
"I can assure you nobody is playing me." Jimmy says around a mouthful of eggs
After some commotion in Tauriell's room Carl and Ernard also come out to have breakfast. "Good morning." Carl greets all and takes a seat. He also helps himself to eggs and bacon.
Ernard does the same.
"So this is where you guys are. I have some more work for you today." Jimmy says to Carl and Ernard
"Well. Not yet. Marry Gwen and give her a year or two and she can touch every string without you even noticing." Tauriell jokes.
"I don't want to complain, but I really hope it's some real work this time and not waiting in the dark again." Carl replies.
"Today it will be lugging things out of the dark and to a warehouse without anyone figuring out what you are transporting." Jimmy says cleaning his plate and taking a slice of apple pie
"What would we transport? All goods we had to watch over, as well as this metal thing" he says pointing at the clockwork servant "And two tapestries in the next room are already here." Carl asks.
"Why, the statues of course, and any furniture or other antiques still in good condition." Jimmy says with a grin
"But we're not moving anything I haven't painted in it's original position." Gwenhwyfar states.
"Of course, also we somewhat forgot to ask Mrs. Heidmarch if she would be interested in the statues and such."
"I'm having some trouble imagining how that should work." Carl replies. "The hallways and stairs are wide in the crow. and if all help to carry them we might be able to move them and not damage them. But do you have a way to get these more than life size statues to the bay? I mean without climbing like we had to on the way in. And I hope you have a better transport than the row boats."
"We almost sunk the clockwork servant yesterday. Not to question you. Maybe you already planned for all that." Carl adds.
"There is a route through the sewers that would avoid most of those issues." Jimmy explains, "It's how we got in and out without going past you."
Tauriell bursts out in laughter spilling egg all over her place. "You remember the slimy swimming pool? I'm not going to help carry a statue through that!"
