Brutus snaps at the bow.
Niamh's fast enough with pulling her bow away and after that she just countiues tipping Brutus' leg.
Brutus quite likes that game and snaps at the bow again.
Niamh pulls the bow away again and snorts. "That's not what I wanted you to do!" She protests but stops that 'game'. "I will find something that isn't in danger to be eaten!" Niamh tells Brutus.
Brutus looks at Niamh in anticipation.
"All right. You are a clever dog. Aren't you?" Niamh says and looks Brutus into the eyes. "You just have to lift you're paw from the ground. Then you'll get a piece of that cake. Deal?"
Brutus lets his ears hang down turns around and lays himself besides Abomentolor. "Mrrrrrh" he makes breathing out.
"I know what you think about me trying to teach you the Spanisch Walk without you going away!" Niamh says after him and looks at Tauriell. She thinks for a moment but then lets the idea go.
"You learned a spell to talk with animals?" Gwenhwyfar asks.
"I don't think so. It's probably the crazy kicking in." Tauriell replies.
"Uhm. No?" Niamh replies. "It was just as clear to see as if it would be written on his forehead. The text was 'screw you'"
"I need to take lessons with Brutus that he teaches me that trick. Telling Niamh to screw herself without words in a way she leaves me alone." Tauriell says.
"You're too cute for that." Niamh replies but moves her chair away a bit from Tauriell giving her a glare.
"Read it from my forehead." Tauriell replies looking at Niamh and then turns away as if she doesn't care.
Niamh stands up and leaves the group. "Read mine too!" she mumbles and walks into her room to play her second instrument, the transverse flute.
"I think we should get going before this escalates and I have to pull some ears again." Gwenhwyfar suggests.
"But I didn't do anything!" Tauriell replies in the most innocent voice imaginable.
Just as Gwenhwyfar suggests that the rain stops :)
"Yay! Let's go." Lini says as she jumps up.
"We're not that fast." Gwenhwyfar replies. "Would you like me to put you in your armor?" she asks Jimmy.
"I'll go collect my stuff." Tauriell says and disappears into he room putting that golf bag of weapons back on her body.
"I doubt that will be needed today my dear. We are just shopping and moving stuff about."
"I'm not going to wear my good dress anyway." Gwenhwyfar replies. "But then we can go now?" she asks into the round.
"I think we can be on our way dear."
"I'm always ready." Abomentolor replies.
"I'm also ready to go." Tauriell states as she comes out of her room again.
"Shall we come too? Or are you fetching us after the shopping part?" Carl asks.
"I guess you have to come now. As it's more or less on the way." Tauriell replies.
"Then we're ready too." Carl replies.
"Then let's go!" Lini says and leads the way from the manor grounds to her shop.
After a short walk they arrive at Everything Magic in Lowcleft. Lini unlocks her shop and invites everyone in. She walks into her workshop luring the clockwork servant in. She starts immediately to investigate the construct with a magnifying glass searching for some interface to tweak at.
Abomentolor looks through the wands and ruffles through all the boxes and shelfs. "It is nice to see that there is at least some kind of order in your collection of goods. But I still don't find something about fire. Where do you store them?" Abomentolor asks while reading through the tags on some rings.
Lini stops her investigation and helps Abomentolor before he ruins her organization system "I don't have enough fire items to start an own box for that. There is that wand of scorching ray and I think I have a necklace of fireballs somewhere."
Lini starts looking through boxes seemingly in a random order until she pulls one out of a miscellaneous box. "Here it is. Three fireballs to throw for 1650 gold."
Abomentolor does some calculations and replies "What kind of firealls are these? Large inferno types? For that is quite some money."
Digging in the miscilanious box that Lini just pulled the necklace of fireball from, Jimmy finds an ivory horn with elaborate carvings and silver inlays. "I wonder why this is in a magic shop?" He asks as he puts it to his lips and blows
"I don't think so. My wizard friend told me that the large one is a standard fireball like it is sold on scrolls and the other two are more like indoor fireworks." Lini explains.
As Jimmy blows into the horn the sound of a large hunting horn is heard but as loud as a roaring dragon. This sound could be heard all over magnimar if it were blown outside but all of Lowcleft heard it anyway.
Though surprisingly it doesn't hurt in the ears as one would expect. But all are stunned by the shock from the unexpected noise.
Lini winces at the loud noise and as it's over answers Jimmy's question. "It is in a magic shop because it's magic. If you don't know what you're doing please put your hand in your pockets and leave them there."
She puts her fingers in her ears and pulls them out again to free up her ears as everything now sounds as if she had cotton in her ears. "I have magic stuff here that one could use to blow up the whole shop. So no using of anything inside. Ok?"
"Sorry, It looked like a plain horn. How much would it set me back?" Jimmy asks cradling it in his arms
Lini chuckles "1200 gold. But you should really think about what you use it for. If you use that repeatedly in Magnimar you'll have a lot of unwanted attention pretty soon."
"You want to buy that?" Gwenhwyfar asks startled. "If you use that again warn me beforehand!"
Abomentolor is undeterred on his quest for fire. "Do you have the fiery equivalent of that horn? No stuff for a child's birthday party but something for a big city to remember?"
"Sorry. No wands of meteor swarm here. But I guess you are a few coins short of 230 platin per casting?" Lini asks the gnome.
"It's always the same. You can't have it, it's too expensive, it's too dangerous. One day I will cast a meteor storm of my own!" Abomentolor proclaims.
"Don't forget to invite me to the show." Lini replies smiling. "So do you want the horn or should I show you something else?" Lini asks Jimmy.
"You raise a good point, It is of little use to me now." Jimmy says turning it over in his hands
"What would you like to use it for at all?" Gwenhwyfar inquires curiously.
"To make a noise." Jimmy says with a grin, "Imagine surprising an enemy like I just surprised you with it. Or If we need to call for aid and we are a long way away from people."
Tauriell does a search over the boxes for something she doesn't know always curious to learn something new. But nothing jumps into sight.
"Or if we hve a ship someday and need a horn to make known where we are in a fog." Gwenhwyfar laughs. "But if you like that toy." She embraces Jimmy and rests her head on his chest.
