Hmm, strange. I guess the mayor's worries get a chance at being solved early. But let's see whats going on first.
What roll would determine their relationship?
He let's Grey Hoof catch up to him before announcing himself to them in a friendly manner. "Hail, friends. Oh, sorry to intrude, your music caught my attention down the way. Magnificent, a true delight I might say. But it sounds so sad. What seems to be bothering you?... If you don't mind me asking?"
Diplomacy(Influence): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
I guess sense motive, to see if anything untowards would be going on?
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
As Grey Hoof nuzzles up besides him, "Oh and this is Grey Hoof. And I am Demari."

Surprised as Lily starts coughing, she realizes something is amiss as the sorceress leans in to whisper to her. Eyes widening as she hears the warning, she plays along, giggling as if Lily were whispering something completely different.
Bluff: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Her fingers drumming against the table in an almost military cadence as she mumbles an arcane chant, the blade dancer closes her eyes for a moment. When she opens them, Lily can see a shimmer of silver within her irises as her vision shifts into the magical spectrum. She slowly looks, first in the direction of the bard, then around the room to determine who else may have been affected by the magic being cast about the room.

Why am I talking to a drunk as if she would understand... Great not in here...

He does his best to catch her before she hits her head. "Just my luck." He tries to wake her and gets some water.

As you speak up, the flute playing cat-folk looks up, you notice a strangely one-sided blade with a minor curve to it on his back. Then before you can entirely finish, he vanishes into thin air. The girl stands up. She has shoulder-length black hair, green eyes, and freckles across her cheeks and nose. She looks surprised.
You didn't notice anything particularly wrong with the scene, it seemed to be someone playing an instrument, with a rapt one person audience. However the Mayor's request echo's in your mind.
Please, don't hurt him, he is a friend. I just enjoy listening to his music.
As she finishes, you hear a laugh from right next to you.
Please, Aria, no one in, or even near this village could catch me, much less hurt me! Just let me know, I'll knock em out, and this would all be just a dream, or some crazy drunken story to the town.
the girl shakes her head. Father would believe him, even if he didn't. She seems to believe the invisible mans claims to strength. She does however sense that you have no immediate hostile intent and asks the cat-folk lad to show himself again.
handle animal: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Hmph, if you say so. When he reappears , he is sitting on Grey Hoof, scratching the elk's neck.
The girl speaks up again. My name is Aria, Aria Lefay, my friend goes by Katsu. Katsu (kha-tssu) tips an imaginary hat towards you As he leans back a bit on the Elk. Pleasure I'm sure. Will have to ask you not tell anyone bout me now though. the way he says it seems both a request, and almost an order.
I am actually gonna start trying something new, I'll be providing a, at least similar image of any NPCs I actively name for better visualization .
The cat-folk, just imagine more realistic looking fur and hair :/
The girl. just imagine freckles
also-
Brom, the innkeep
Anna, the drunken halfling... when she's not drunk.
Brom places a heavy hand on Dalen's shoulder. Ha, HAHA I like you, what say you to 16 Gold pieces, and the promise of future purchases if you so desire eh? And if you ever have a drink you want to try, Ask brom, he will help you.
Just in case I wasn't clear lily, you have a -good- hunch it was the bard, but aren't -entirely- sure. which reminds me
The bard
@Serill, you manage to catch the girl, A pair of glasses fall out of her clothes, and you see what may be a journal slip about a quarter out of a small bag she was carrying as well. She doesn't seem to wake, perhaps far too much drink?
@Anduriel, You notice a Moderate magic aura emanating from the Bard similiar to a spell, some of the wealthier looking tavern-goers seem to have minor magical trinkets, but nothing that particularly catches your eye. Nor any that matches the amount of magic energy emanating from the bard.

Exclusive (DC 20): The animal takes directions only from the handler who taught it this trick. If an animal has both the exclusive and serve tricks, it takes directions only from the handler that taught it the exclusive trick and those creatures indicated by the trainer's serve command. An animal with the exclusive trick does not take trick commands from others even if it is friendly or helpful toward them (such as through the result of a charm animal spell), though this does not prevent it from being controlled by other enchantment spells (such as dominate animal), and the animal still otherwise acts as a friendly or helpful creature when applicable.
Grey Hoof being too young to bear a rider, smart enough to know common and indelibly bonded to Demari, has taken a slight offense. Grey Hoof immediately sits on his rump, and shakes to let Katsu slide off. Hoof turns to look the Catfolk in the eye.
Did I mention, Grey Hoof has a child level intelligence.
"You should really ask for permission, before climbing on someones back," Demari says as he reaches down to help Katsu up.
"But greetings Aria, and greetings to you as well Katsu. I don't mind keeping your tryst secret, it not my place to judge. But I hear tell that the Mayor is quite up in arms about people disappearing into the forest for a spell before returning hours later...I do hope that it's just you two? Am I right?"

thelizardwizard |

acrobatics: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31
The cat-folk lets out a grunt before tumbling backwards and lightly landing on his feet. Then looks at Grey Hoof with a smile I like him. He's cheeky, reminds me of me a bit. He takes your outstretched hand and shakes it. He then remarks with a smile. Well, he never said no.
The girl sighs and basically face-palms. She has walked a little closer, but has kept a fair distance still.
At your response Aria goes red in the face and mutters out Haha n-no we are just good friends. I play the flute as well, so we take turns playing out here. Normally no one bothers to check it out if they hear it. As for that its just us, I hadn't heard about those happenings, though.. Katsu has had me out here most evenings with him for a couple weeks now.

Anduriel Silverthorn |

As she studies the situation, Andi frowns, the potential danger immediately evaporating the pleasant buzz of the alcohol.

Damari Wilder |

Demari gives a slight grin as he says, "Sure...just a couple of troubadours trading ballads. No harm in that. Did sound like a sad tune though, hope nothing is weighing on your mind to much?"
Wanting to start a good dialog with the two, and maybe keep them on as contacts in the future. Demari offers, "My services as a Cleric of Erastil are always available. If you ever need to talk, I have the simple practical wisdom's of Old Deadeye to share. Plus I'll be holding a BBQ at the temple soon. Just as soon as I find some game. I hear tell there is Boar out and about near dusk"
Thinking he maybe rambling on a little too much, Demari shifts the subject. "But I did have a favor to ask. I'm a traveling Cleric, spreading the good word, you see. New to the town. I'm trying to learn more about the area, is there anything that people have been concerned about lately. Strange travelers, mysterious events or particularly gossipy neighbors that need someone to talk too?"

Diamondust |

Serill mutters to himself, stuck with a drunk girl in his room. "What would the others think if they came in here right now..." He picked up the glasses and her bag. Even more curious to him. He examined them...
Appraise?: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20
...before returning them to her bag. He wondered what would cause the need to fix such a handicap. His transmutation studies suggested a disease or perhaps a straining of the eyes. If she really can use spells why doesn't she try to fix her eyes with it? This made him curious as to the fact of her alleged spellcasting and he spoke the short phrase and with one hand on his blade to focus the energies for Detect Magic to see any auras she might have left.

Alistair Wellington |

Leaning agaisnt the bar, Alistair finishes his drink and starts to make his way through the crowd of people towards the bard. He does some small talk with several groups as he makes his way to the bard. He stops halfway as he asks a serving girl for another drink and points to the table where his companions are sitting.
On their tab

Lily Frosthood |

Lily also giggles along with Andi, trying to keep up the charade. As Andi whispers to Lily, she glances to see Alistair making his way towards the bard. She turns back to Andi. "Shit, I think Alistair was caught in the spell. I've got an idea, I hope this works." She giggles again before getting up amd walking towards Alistair. "Honey, where are you running off too? You said you would stay with us until the end of the night." She pouts.

Dalen Felder |

Dalen ponders the offer for a moment then grins and holds out a hand for a handshake.
"Done! I'll even help carry these in for you," Dalen says, "but I would like to know if you're still interested in the grain I have as well. I have six sacks of wheat, four sacks of rye, and four sacks of barley. I will let you inspect them before you make a purchase, of course."

Elaina Tirel |

Elaina keeps her eyes peeled, but has no idea what to look for. As far as she knows, everything is fine.

Alistair Wellington |

Alistair smiles brightly and takes Lily's hand in his. He looks deep into her eyes and with a gentle touch of his lips to her hand...
Why my Lady I would never leave you alone and I will be with you two till the end of the night. I will be over very shortly, I just want to talk to my friend over there for a few minutes. He points to the bard.

thelizardwizard |

Katsu gives you a worried look before shuffling you further from Aria. Then whispering.
Yes yes, That's nice, I would not be welcome at your BBQ however, not everyone is as... accepting as you seem to be. But I know about what concerns the mayor here, its why I've kept Aria out with me, late in the evenings. I can protect her from... whoever they are. I've already fought one of their members, at least with me I know shes safe. Please, I'd rather not worry her so please don't tell her about it. Its not something that is talked about in town often either so I'd take care about asking too much about it specifically. He pauses a moment.
As for anyone new.. that bard at the local inn came here no more than a week ago. Other than that, more people pass through here on a daily basis than live in my home village. Oh! I saw the bard chatting with some folk that came through here in a hurry about... 3 days ago. They left in as much a rush as they came in though.
@Serill You detect that the book is indeed magic, if you opened it you saw more than a few spell formula scribbled across its pages. The glasses also radiate a minor enchantment. It seems that the glass in the glasses is merely there to hold an enchantment of magic, and not to function as most other glasses do. She also has a very minor divination aura slowly fading from around her.
@lily, sensemotive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
you draw the attention of several merchants, including the bard he seems minorly suspicious for half a second before his face shifts back into a friendly and happy appearance. He speaks up.
Now now, no need to hog the man all to yourself all the time! Surely you get plenty of that on your travels. Come, let the man sit and talk among friends. You yourself are surely welcome to chat as well!
Lily- will save please
You suddenly almost laugh at the thought of this fine fellow possibly being anything but your friend. His words make sense, and while you don't feel compelled to sit and chat, it would feel more like accepting an invitation from a good friend. Note, you don't feel compelled to explain your business or the like, you merely see the Bard as a good friend, and would treat him as one.
You again feel a similar sensation attempt to intrude on your mind. However one again you manage to shake it off, you note it struck while the bard was speaking and gesturing with his arms and hands in a flamboyant manner
slieghtofhand: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30

@ Dalen, Excellent! he grabs your hand shakes it, and then Pulls you into a crushing hug. After a moment he lets go and rubs his chin for a moment. Hmmm, I normally only purchase already made goods, however, I could perhaps use the wheat for bread. How much would you ask for the wheat my friend?
@Eliana, Two very drunk mercenaries wander stumble over towards you. Hehe, what's a pretty lady like you doing here alone? That's just not right is it Jerry. The other man grins, No, no it ain't, pretty lass like her needs someone to protect her, and show her around I'd say! Come with us little lady we'll have a grand evening!

Dalen Felder |

The young knight almost wonders if he should have worn his armor for this. Brom has him lifted off his feet as his breath is squeezed from him, and he can't help but wonder if this was some elaborate ruse to have him killed as lights begin to flash and his vision begins to swim.
"Happy to be of service," he gasps before the burly innkeeper lets him down so that they can continue, and so he can catch his breath.
"If you want, I'd be willing to share a recipe for rye bread if you want. It's dark and hearty and goes well with stews and rich soups. I'd bet that you'd be able to sell it for double of what your wheat breads will go for. All I'd ask in return is that you'd consider buying some of the rye," Dalen says as he brings over a sack of the wheat kernels and opens it up revealing fifty pounds of golden wheat after a few moments.
"As you can see, this wheat is in fine condition and will keep for years. I'd be willing to sell it for seven silver a sack," he adds to answer Brom's question about cost.
Diplomacy (If needed.): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Well, at least the profit will be pretty good, and maybe Dalen can convince him to buy some Rye after all. :D

Elaina Tirel |

Already nervous and praying that Damari or Dalen would come back soon, Elaina isn't any less uneasy at the sight of the two drunks coming her way. If it had been two drunk farmers or shopworkers, she'd have been fairly confidant of her ability to handle them if they kept on, but two drunk mercenaries would be dangerous, and she wasn't so sure if she could get away if it came to that.
In any case, she'd be certain to mind her tongue. This was not the time to be throwing barbs, no matter how well deserved. Besides, she isn't sure they'd be sober enough to remember them, so why waste her breath.
"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I'm waiting on one of my friends to get back," she says as politely as she can, hoping that honeyed words would salve bruised libidos as she looks about to see if any of the rest of the knights are close enough to help her if she needed it.
Perception (Looking for help!): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

...to find out what sort of glasses they are. He checks on her again making sure she is fast asleep before taking a look at her book with the help of Read Magic.
He surmises that she must have used a Locate Object spell to try and find her way back to her room, being quite familiar with divination himself.

thelizardwizard |

@Elaina The brute that spoke first attempts to wrap his arm around Eliana's waist and pulls her close to him. His grip is firm, but not particularly to the point of being overly forceful. Aw, comon now, ye got two real good friends right here.
Jerry, the one that was behind the first agrees with is friend. Ya, and trust us, we will be lots more fun than whoever ye came here with. comon, have a drink or three with Me an' Ben 'ere why don't ye?
Eliana doesn't see much, she notices that some of the few people out where she is at see what's happening, however they either don't understand what is going on, or simple pretend not to notice.
@Dalen Brom eyes you for a moment. Ha! very well, let me try this bread of yours. If it is as half as hearty as me, I'll buy the lot! He wraps his arm around your shoulder, Come, show me! he leaves the small building behind his tavern and begins walking towards the Inn again.
@Serill, you find the glasses have a permanent enchantment of Greater Detect Magic, as well as a minor enchant that functions much like a normal pair of glasses would, except you think It might work for just about anyone, adjusting itself based on what their vision needs.
The book is filled with several spells focused on divination and transmutation. Dotted with evocation, abjuration, and conjuration ehre and there. You notice a distinct lack of necrotic and enchantment spells. Some are spells you have been attempting to learn yourself but however have remained -just- beyond your grasp. Basically 3rd level spells, if you spend time looking at an particular spells let me know and I'll send you a list of them.

Serill Elamaer |

Fascinating. A very useful and powerful item indeed. To test them out he places them on and studies Anna to see if his guess was right at the last spell she used.

Serill Elamaer |

After making a quick note in his mind of the different spells in her book he replaced it back inside her bag and put it safely on top of the table he was reading at before she barged in. He takes the glasses and walks out into the hallway. Let's find your actual room so I can get some proper sleep tonight Anna. Making sure no one is around before he tries them on he then looks for auras coming from rooms other than the three he and his companions had taken. If he finds one he knocks first and if no one answers he enters.

Dalen Felder |

"Certainly!" Dalen follows the innkeeper after grabbing a small sack of rye flour from the stock of food he had for the trip. Once back in the kitchen, he begins to show Brom how to make the rye bread he made when he had the chance to use an oven in his travels.
Taking 10 Profession(Cook): 10 + 5 = 15
GM, I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but baking bread from start to finish can take a few hours, minimum. There are some recipes that require two to three days because of how long it takes to prepare and proof the bread. Basically, Dalen's not going to be available for a while.

Elaina Tirel |

I thought Damari and Elaina were in the inn. Oh well.
"I'm sorry," Elaina tells them as she tries to pull her wrist free, "but I'm not much of a drinker."
Dalen, where are you? I could really use your looming presence right now!
Grapple to break free if needed: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Serill Elamaer |

If he sees an aura in another room by using the glasses he thinks it might be from a spell anna cast some time before. Basically he is trying to find her room for her.

Damari Wilder |

Demari listens to Katsu attentively, trying to commit the details to memory.
"Hmm. Can you tell me more about these...members you confronted? Where they seem to operate and when, if possible. And these people that talked to this bard, did they have anyone else with them? Which way they seem to have traveled?"
Demari continues on asking about things that may be vital for the investigation. Hoping that this gentle cat man, may be an allied with the Order's cause.
"And worry not, about Aria. I'd rather not a gentle soul in this. If you ever need assistance let me know. I'll be happy to help!"

thelizardwizard |

I know, but brom is just that kinda guy. Also, we'll use that, however before you get back to the kitchen you had to re-enter the inn, which I had assumed Eliana and Damari had not been to far from. Sort of, out front, and to the left. The same side you are actually going to be returning from.
grapple: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
@Dalen, as you and brom return to the front of the inn, the rye sack carried on your shoulder you notice Eliana with two rather drunken mercenaries. One of which starts pulling her, more roughly this time. He seems to pull harder than even he had intended and causes her to stumble after him. You can clearly see she had tried to move away from them. You also do not see Damari with her.
@Serill Unfortunately, you don't notice any Magical Aura's on the upper floor where the rooms are. You do see the final fading threads of magic that She had cast before coming up trailing down the stairs.
@Damari. Is it Damari, or Demari? Katsu nods. I know where they are at, I managed to follow one back there. But even I am not as foolish and proud as to try and take them on there. They have, from what I can tell, a decently large number of people. I might could run them off, but I can't risk that. If I got caught, or, killed, well... He glances towards the girl. Anyway, they seem to operate out of a relatively large network of caves in the large hills nor far north of here. As for the folk and the bard, I didn't pay much attention, not thinking much of it. I never saw anyone with them that seemed out of place but, I didn't look to much into it either. Last I saw was they headed out on the road to Umber.

Alistair Wellington |

At the comment directed to lily, Alistair stands tall. His eyes narrow as his head turns to look at the bard. His voice rising a tad.
Apologize...
Alistair turns his whole body and squares his shoulders. His voice has gotten even louder, not shouting but those around him hear him. His smile is there but under those pearly whites lies a bit of anger. His companions know that he does not like when people disrespect any women and that comments like these have gotten him in several fights. He seems to be calm though and kinder than normal. His hands rest gentle on the hilts of his blades.
I do not take kindly to the disrespect of any women, friend or not. Your childish back alley banter is not deserved nor is it proper conversation. Here I thought we were friends and you go and do something like this. I seriously hope that you had just one to many to drinks and used poor judgement. Now I ask again for you to apologize to lady....and the I will be happy to talk to you about everything and anything.
His smile gets bigger.

thelizardwizard |

@Alistair, He holds his hands up and shakes his head with a smile.
Meant no offense dear friend, merely saying that she likely gets plenty of time with you on your travels. Ah, not meaning that kind of time, either. he says after a moment.
I honestly meant what I said as well. She's more than welcome to sit and talk with us as well. The more the merrier!

Anduriel Silverthorn |

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 17 So damn close
Andi moves up to the other side of Alistair, leaning against him and flashing Lily a grin, her vision still noting emanations of magic. "While that's true we kind of want his attention right now. And you seem to be holding court over here quite nicely. Do you really need that much attention?"

Elaina Tirel |

Elaina cries out in surprise as she is pulled forward and stumbles a few steps before regaining her footing.
"Lemme go," she tells them as she tries to pull free.
Grapple: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
With a desperate tug, she manages to break the grip one of the drunks had on her and scurries back a few steps, her eyes wide with fear as she started looking for a way to escape.

Dalen Felder |

Dalen has already dropped the sack of flour and is hurrying towards Elaina when she manages to break free. The friendly expression he had worn while talking with Brom is now a furious scowl. Just as Elaina is looking for ways to escape, Dalen puts himself between her and the two drunks. Even out of his armor, he is imposing and glowers down at them from his full six and a third foot height as he growls a single word.
"Leave."
Intimidate (Oh why did I not put ranks in you!): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

thelizardwizard |

Eliana manages to wiggle out of the mans grip, causing him to almost fall over due to the sudden lack of resistance. Then, as Dalen imposes himself between the men and Eliana, they start to slowly back up, before turning to run away, only to bump into Brom. Brom had always seemed big, but now you realize he stood As tall as Dalen. His muscled arms and hands came to rest on the mens outer shoulders. His mouth is in the shape of a smile, however, it is certainly not a friendly one.
intimidate: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25
I do not tolerate Ruffians in, or around, my inn. Now, I invite you to return and apologize for the problem you caused. He forcibly pushes the two back to Dalen and Eliana. They both whimper an apology and try to scurry away only to be held in place by Brom.
Now, little lady, what should we do with these two? He offers a wink to Eliana.
@Alistair and ladies.
the bard's eyes light up.
Oh ho! Now I would love to chat with him even more. I am interested in how a remarkable man as yourself got so lucky as to travel with two very lovely ladies as yourselves. Why don't all of you sit and chat! It won't take long after all, besides as I said before, the more the merrier, here, let me buy you three a round of drinks. I work for the innkeeper here, so I can get you all some of the good stuff. He rocks back and stands up. Bouncing a little as he does so. shouts of wanting the good stuff too. Of course friends, I clearly meant a round of the best stuff for all! But only if our new friends agree stay and enjoy the party for a while! You hear several of the traders shout their sentiments as the bard invites you to sit and chat.
Alistair, you unfortunately still feel compelled to sit and talk to the bard. Though the urge is not quite as strong as before.

Serill Elamaer |

Sighing at failing to find anything he heads back to his room and back to his book, watching Anna out of the corner of his eye for her to wake up. I could always just Drench her...

Anduriel Silverthorn |

Anduriel smiles, while making direct eye contact with the bard. It's clear the smile doesn't reach her eyes. "So charming and persuasive, if i didn't know any better I'd swear you were magic." Andi says fawning over the man. "Like those old fairy stories where one of the fey come and drinks and eat with humans winning them over with glamor and mind magic. You're handsome enough to be one of the fey." she says just loudly enough for those not already part of his group of hangers on to hear, depending on the superstitions nature of small towns. "I've heard they can resist being the center of attention."

Lily Frosthood |

Will Save Part 3: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Lily stands next to Alistair, letting Andi speak before she chimes. "Your offer is greatly appreciated, but we have all had a hard day of travel and rest calls to us. Perhaps another day Master Bard." Lily doesn't speak with any anger or frustration in her voice, but she speaks with sincerity.

Damari Wilder |

It's Damari. Stress and exhaustion, melts my brain at times
Having a solid lead for moving the investigation forward, Damari happily shakes Katsu's hand, quite vigorously. "Thank you, friend. I'll check into these cave dwellers promptly. And set some question about on the road to Umber. Now if you ever need me I'll be around town for a few days. I'll stop by the grove around evening everyday. If you can't come to the BBQ, I'll bring the BBQ to you. Here take this."
Damari hands off a small whittled holy symbol of Erastil. A small bauble he made on the road to Aldur.
"It's a small gesture. But a true follower of Erastil, will give shelter to you. If you can't reach me, send someone with this and I'll fly to your side. Before I depart is there anything I can do for you?"

Elaina Tirel |

Elaina, shaken by the event and reminded of how she wound up among the Order of New Dawn, is hiding behind Dalen and has trouble finding her voice.
"S-send them away," she almost begs, and barely avoids adding a "please" to the end.

Dalen Felder |

Dalen, hearing Elaina sound so meek and feeling her tremble behind him, softens his expression as he glances at the top of her red head.
Looking back at the two drunks and letting his glare return in full force, he calmly, almost casually, asks, "do you have a lawman in town? If so, I'd say just give them to him and suggest they be made to scrub every chamberpot in Aldur until he feels their crime has been made good. There's no excuse for treating someone so roughly."

thelizardwizard |

Also lily, I apologize I meant to give you an additional +2 on your save for being suspicious, but It doesn't look like it would have helped in the end.
Brom nods. Very well. He turns them around, smacks both on the back of their heads and shouts. And don't you come back to my inn. I'm not as forgiving as the lass
As Dalen speaks, brom nods. Perhaps, though It may merely be a bit too much drink in them. They'll not cause more trouble here. No need to worry.
He turns back to the two of you with a big smile. Well, come now friends. Dalen, you still need to show me your bread! and you lass are welcome to stay a night in my inn for free! He walks behind the two of you and puts an arm over each of your shoulders before staring to walk towards the inn. As you get closer, you see Alistair standing, with lily and Anduriel on either side seeming to fawn over him. While they appear to be speaking to the bard.
@Alistair and Co. The bard chuckles and shrugs before speaking.
Surely my lady you give me far too much credit. I'm no closer to the Fae than any elf, gnome, or.. half-elf. besides, say I was, what harm have I done? Provided a fun evening for people weary of travel on the road? He laughs again. If I had the ability and magic you give me credit for, I doubt I would be here, and not in some highly lavished place working those same magics. However if you truly wish to retire early I will not keep you! However you say you had a hard travel here, I cannot help my curiosity, from where did you travel?
@Damari, Merely forget you saw us here. That's all. If you are brave, or foolish, enough to want to find the ones I spoke about come find me. I'll show you where they are. And there is no need to, er, check up on us, every evening. He offers a smile and a nod before walking back towards Aria after taking the holy symbol.

Dalen Felder |

"I think my friend already paid for her room when he paid for all of ours," Dalen says, wishing he had a chance to see if Elaina was alright without the friendly, if overbearing, innkeeper around. Instead, he reaches behind the man to give Elaina's shoulder a comforting squeeze. "I know she has a sweet tooth, so if you happen to have something sweet on the menu, I believe that'd help cheer her up," he offers instead.
He gives a wink at Elaina as he stoops to grab the flour sack he'd dropped on the way back to the inn.

Elaina Tirel |

Elaina stiffens when Brom wraps his arm around her, but Dalen's hand on her shoulder eases her a little. Enough, anyway, to be comforted by the thought of getting something sweet.
Dang it, he knows me too well.

Dalen Felder |

As Brom, Elaina, and Dalen walk into the tavern, the young knight sees Three of his companions gathered around the bard and begins to wonder what's going on.
"This looks like trouble," he mutters before turning to look at the innkeeper.
"Do you know who the minstrel is," he asks, "and what did those three order," pointing to Alistair, Lily, and Anduriel, "because I don't remember the Lily and Anduriel fawning over Alistair like that on the way here."
Sense Motive(What have I just walked into?): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Elaina Tirel |

Elaina, also wandering what's going on here, tries to get a read on the situation.
Sense Motive(What's going on?): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

Dalen you get the feel of a mild confrontation here, it seems to be a subtle one or mild one however.
Bwhaha! of course, I have some special treats stored in one of my back rooms. Very sweet this stuff is. You can have some for free.
Once entering the room. The Bard looks to Dalen.
Oh? You know these three? They aren't normally like this? He cocks his head back to look at Alistair Anduriel, and Lily. Well, I've known good drink to allow love to blossom forth. I apologize, perhaps you don't have the alone time I thought you had. He spies Brom as he walks in.
Ah! hello there Sir Brom. I'd say our business is better than ever!
Brom takes a look around at the patrons So it seems! So Dalen, these are friends of yours? Well then, any friend of yours is a friend of mine! Ah but my manners. This here is my newest partner. A Mr. Davien Solaar. I provide the food, drink, and beds. He provides good music, tales and other entertainment for our guests! He's been very popular since he came here two weeks ago. Right lads! He shouts out a question to the other Inn goers to have a fairly drunken response of agreement. He also seems to be oblivious to any sort of confrontation going on. He continues to move to the bar.

Anduriel Silverthorn |

"Apology accepted, though I'd expect one in your profession the poo be perceptive enough to take a hint."Anduriel says to the bard, her meaning clearly going beyond her actual words.

Alistair Wellington |

However if you truly wish to retire early I will not keep you! However you say you had a hard travel here, I cannot help my curiosity, from where did you travel?
Alistair nods towards lilly
She is a simple traveler and as it is known...travelers tend to not stay in anyone place for long. They tend to come and go from here or there. Never really anyplace specific.Oh? You know these three? They aren't normally like this? He cocks his head back to look at Alistair Anduriel, and Lily. Well, I've known good drink to allow love to blossom forth. I apologize, perhaps you don't have the alone time I thought you had.
That was what you assumed and you know what they say when you assume something....
Alistair will nod at the bard.It has been a long road and my friends here wish to retire for the night. I will escort them to their rooms and come back downstairs to talk to about my travels Lord Solaar.
There is a slight glimmer of anger in his eyes..

Lily Frosthood |

Lily perks up when Alistair mentions bringing them upstairs, but frowns when he mentions not staying. "Perhaps we will change your mind when we get to the room." She turns with Alistair, her arm interlocked with his. As they begin walking she spots Dalen and Elaina. "Did you two run off without us?" She playfully winks. "Why don't you come with us upstairs?" With her back turned to the Bard, she motions slightly to make sure they follow.

Dalen Felder |

Dalen looks torn between confused, bemused, and aggravated after hearing just a little of what was going on.
Okay, so Anduriel and Lily are not happy with the bard for some reason, and Alistair is not happy with them? What in the world happened while I was gone?
"This is going to be a long trip," he mutters under his breath before turning to Brom and handing him the bag of flour.
"Brom, would you mind taking this to the kitchen while i make sure my friends aren't about to start a fight in your inn," he asks before turning to Elaina and beckoning her to follow.
"Alright you three, let's just step away from the drinks and cool our heads," he says calmly as he herds Alistair, Anduriel, and LIly up to the rooms Serill had picked out for them.
Once he's out of earshot of the bard, to Alistair, Anduriel, and Lily (Elaina is close enough to hear)
"What were you three thinking," Dalen hisses. "Just how much have you three drank to think that was keeping a low profile?"
