Thomas "Vindicator" Green |

Cool, cool.

Arthur Balond, "Blackjack" |

"We should try talking to here, maybe get a heal for her, if she's suffering from some sort of insanity."
"I agree, she clearly needs help. But in the meantime, she's dangerous, unpredictable, and has some powerful magic at her disposal. Don't let your guard down until she's been disabled."

Jasper Gardnt "Steel Sentinel" |

Jasper looks about the sitting area.
"All these works of art must be worth a fortune..."

Melina Tribani |
Melina smiles at Jasper's comment. She is looking forward to his reaction to the art in the common areas is he is so impressed by her personal stuff.
She takes her companions to the library of the temple. While there, she researches Arachnea, and also looks up information on various spiders, since it seems likely she may have to fight more of them. If anyone asks, she vouches for her companions so that they can accompany her.

Balamar Deepsight |

Siege's main concern was the fact it had taken fire to destroy the creatures. Changing back into Balamar's gear, the Dwarf went looking for places that could sell her Alchemist's Fire, and any way of temporarily adding a fire element to her weapon's abilities.

James "El Beasto" Camden |

James goes back into the gambling hall to get de-beastified and starts repairing the wall he destroyed.

Balamar Deepsight |

Balamar had some gold. Quite a lot of gold, in fact. She didn't really need to work, if she chose not to. Buying 5 vials of Alchemist's Fire and a couple of scrolls.

Lauren Kravos, "Scarrow" |

After spending most of the night keeping watch over her stretch of neighborhood, Lauren goes home and sleeps for a few hours, before opening her store up again for business.

Melina Tribani |
After researching, Melina escorts her new friends to the public entrance to the temple. She slips a small (about 3") painting of a cat into Jasper's hand as he leaves. She makes sure that the gatewarden knows these are her friends.
Can Jasper and Timothy get a bonus to knowledge:dungeoneering in the next day or so about spiders from our research? Melina doesn't have knowledge:dungeoneering, but hopefully one of them does.
Melina then spends some time in prayer and then goes to sleep. She rests happily, knowing Shelyn is pleased with her work this day. In the morning, she attends a temple service, has breakfast, and then goes to her art studio for a few minutes. She finds herself painting a group of heroes fighting a crowd of spiders.
Melina's usual time for prayer which grants her spells is just before sleep, whatever clock time that happens to be. If she is up all night, she uses a few minutes before the early morning temple service.

Timothy Fendolas " Psykoblade " |

Timothy had looked much like a commanman, the runes and insignias gone. Clearly of half elven make his regular leather browns and unassuming robes hid his true calling quite well. His marker that designated " Tim's Pottery Emporium "
much like Jasper, the man seemed in awe of the art, but moreso appreciated it as another being that created such.
As they investigated, Timothy tried to be as useful as possible in the manner of which he investigated.
Sorry, Warlocks dont get to know things apparently. Nature isnt a thing.

After which he bows graciously and returns to his shop. In which he prepares for the next day, cleaning up and fixing the broken Vase he left earlier.

Timothy Fendolas " Psykoblade " |

Pretty much any information on Aranea and anything spider-like. We ARE researching for a reason. Oh and to Identify whatever those creatures we fought were.

Sundakan |

The creatures you fought before are...you don't know. Nobody has Dungeoneering. You know they're some kind of Aberration at least.
You find there has been a lot of research into spiders though, some more pleasant than others.
The creatures you fought before are unlikely to appear in greater numbers, but several years ago there was a giant spider infestation in the sewers. ENORMOUS black widows preying on the people of the city.
The guard casters swear they incinerated all the eggs, but what if they hadn't?
You also know that elemental augmentation of spiders is fairly common for hedge wizards who need cheap minions. You're more likely to encounter spiders that SPIT fire, than are weakened by it.

Timothy Fendolas " Psykoblade " |

Tim would have informed Jasper and Melina his findings, apologizing for his lack of knowledge on the creatures specifically but finding the rest interesting.
Work still needed to be done in the morning however.

Jasper Gardnt "Steel Sentinel" |

Sorry. Take 10 on Dungeoneering with my +9 and library +2 for a total of 21.
Jasper flips through a few of the temple's books while remembering some of the trips he and his old master took to look for good materials.

Sundakan |

tHe creatures were Shriezyx. You sussed out everything they could do, eventually. Webs with magical poison, and Regeneration that is stopped by fire.
One tidbit it would be useful to know is they are actively AFRAID of fire, and will avoid it wherever possible. Carrying a torch is not a perfect defense against them, but it will make them overly cautious.

Arthur Balond, "Blackjack" |

Upon meeting with the others and learning this information, Blackjack buys several torches and passes them out.
"Sounds like we'll be exploring the sewers. Wonderful."

Thomas "Vindicator" Green |

ha i'm immune to disease

Jasper Gardnt "Steel Sentinel" |

Jasper Gardnt purchases an Ioun Torch before meeting up with the others as Steel Sentinel.
"THE SEWERS...AN APPROPRIATE PLACE FOR THIS VILE VILLAINESS. WE SHALL INVADE HER DOMAIN AND END HER REIGN OF TERROR!"

Timothy Fendolas " Psykoblade " |

" The sewers aren't all bad Blackjack. They shield the wholesome from the rather unsavory happenings below. However, I find it absolutely odd that such a woman would become a villainous being. Following the same route as the infestation not long ago. "

James "El Beasto" Camden |

"The sewers are no doubt the home of El Terrible! Surely she has slinked off to her master's lair!"
-Posted with Wayfinder

Sundakan |

*Slunk.
After an EYECATCHING and HEROIC transition, our heroes find themselves inside the sewers, ready to confront the dastardly mistress of spiders...and perhaps her master, El Terrible?
The quarters are cramped, allowing only two to walk abreast unless you plan to split up on different sides, or have some people walk in the sludge. They are also very, very dark and smell horrible enough to cause Shade to whimper in pain.

James "El Beasto" Camden |

"Hmmm.. My opponents must train here often, they all smell like this when they step into the ring, WITH THE CHAMP!" says El Beasto flexing mightily and taking up position in the front of the group.

Jasper Gardnt "Steel Sentinel" |

Wait...I forgot I have Darkvision in my armor so nix the Ioun Torch.
"Hmmm.. My opponents must train here often, they all smell like this when they step into the ring, WITH THE CHAMP!"
"Disgusting."

Thomas "Vindicator" Green |

Vindicator draws his blade, which shines brilliantly.

Jasper Gardnt "Steel Sentinel" |

"As far as sewers go. There tends to be only two ways to go...forwards and backwards." The Steel Sentinel seems less boisterous than usual without anyone around to hear him.

Arthur Balond, "Blackjack" |

Blackjack lights a torch, casting an eerie shadow on the surrounding walls.
"I say we try forwards. I think it goes without saying that splitting up down here would be a bad idea."

Timothy Fendolas " Psykoblade " |

Psykoblade revolves the barrels on Waves periodically, as if inspecting the mechanisms while also expecting trouble.
" Our group is large as our Justice true. If the idea of splitting were placed forth the group would be no less than three. Though much more area would be covered. I must warn you all Black Widows and Spiders that launch fire may reside here. "

Lauren Kravos, "Scarrow" |

Scarrow stays in the back of the group, watching behind them every so often to make sure they're not tailed. She smirks behind her mask as the others light various torches-her night vision has always been excellent, for whatever reason.
Humans with Dark/Low Light vision. Love it.

Sundakan |

Well, in lieu of a formal marching order, no complaints if somebody wanted to be the vanguard and I put them up front. Everyone with d10 HP goes in the front.
It soon becomes apparent that above average navigational skills are going to be required to get through the sewers, labyrinthine as they are. The many branching paths soon disorient most of you, and skittering sounds seem to come always from just beyond the edge of your vision.

James "El Beasto" Camden |

"El Terrible has always been a cheat! No doubt he is scurrying about down here waiting for his opportunity to strike. There is only one logical thing to do."
"We must traverse the sewers with our eyes shut to entice him to reveal himself in an ambush!"
El Beasto nods to himself before squinting his eyes shut and matching off down a random tunnel.

Thomas "Vindicator" Green |

I will go first - I have the best AC by a fair margin.

Thomas "Vindicator" Green |

i also have 20 more hp so ha

Lauren Kravos, "Scarrow" |

Kn. Local: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
"Huh. Didn't realize this city even had such an extensive sewer system..."
I've got no idea if Local would be applicable here, I'm just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. Also, Scarrow likes staying in the back of the group whenever possible.

Arthur Balond, "Blackjack" |

Blackjack will be near the front, but behind the meatshields.
"Yes, and I'm sure it's a boon to the city's criminal underworld. You could set up a hideout down here and go undiscovered for years."
Blackjack growls in frustration at the lack of progress.
"This is getting annoying. We should be marking our path, at least."
He takes out his dagger and starts periodically scratching out a "B" on the walls every 100 feet or so.

Jasper Gardnt "Steel Sentinel" |

"I wouldn't worry Blackjack. Like moths to a flame, evil shall sense our righteousness and seek to snuff it out. It's only a matter of time before our foe will appear before us."
