Appearance:
Broad-shouldered with blond hair and blue eyes, Jasper is a strongly built man by which his Profession demands. Gruff with a dwarven accent passed down from his parents. As the Steel Sentinel, he is a heavily armoured titan in gray armor with a menacing full helm whose eye slits are lit with an intimidating red light.

Backstory:

Jasper Gardnt as a babe was abandoned on the streets by his mother for a reason he never learned. Fortunately for Jasper, a proud dwarf smith had taken refuge from the rain in the alley he had been left to die in. Finding the dirty cloth bundle with no one else around, he took it upon himself to raise the human child. Under Ungrim Irongrip's tutelage, he became an accomplished blacksmith and a bit of an oddity as a human practicing dwarven metalworking.

One fateful day, Ungrim never returned from the markets and on the following morning the City Guard came by to inform Jasper they had found his body in a well.

Alone, he was unable to keep up with the volume and quality of work Ungrim provided. In time he was forced to sell the Smithy for a smaller one. Jasper was outraged when they couldn't find any evidence and closed the case. He took matters into his own hands and ever since then he has searched for lawbreakers in the hopes of finding the one who killed his adopted father.

In his move, he came upon a unique gauntlet left behind by the dwarf. When he tried it on on a whim, the man was surprised as the gauntlet's metal extended up his arm to cover his entire body. After the initial panic, he found that merely wanting to take it off caused the armor to disappear entirely. Conversely, wishing to be clad in steel caused it to reappear. Armored in the strange suit, he took on the name of the "Steel Sentinel" and began his vigil.
