Here.

Can you put the dice converter table in the short campaign description which appears just under the campaign name on each page?

Male Human

Here as well.

Preservationist Alchemist 1 | HP 8/8 | Fort 3, Ref 5, Will 1 | AC 17/14/14 | CMD 11/8 | Perc +7 | Init +3

Just to let you know, a despair will cancel out a success. It just won't be a failure with despair.

It is a weird one to say sometimes. I generally go with "a wash" when there are no successes or failures. So in this instance you would have a wash with advantage and despair.

Male Wookiee

I for one am very excited to have this game underway =^^=

I converted wrong and wrote despair instead of failure.

So glad no trandoshans... that would be awekward :P

Hehe, well it really depends. About this time frame there would be tensions but there would not be outright confrontation on sight. Though, someone decided to be a silverback yes? So depending on the Trandoshan that may very well equal a very terrible situation frot with danger.

If I was playing my other character in this campaign...well it'd be hard to have good relations since he does possess a wookie pelt as a trophy and a Rykk Blade.

No worries on the mistake, I was just clarifying rules a bit since I saw a moment show up. I've played a fair deal of this dice system so I can help people learn here and there if needed ^^.

So i accidently made a silverback wookiee... haha

One thing I've never fully understood for a Selonian that this system doesn't cover because few species have a tail at all, let alone use it in combat...can I basically apply a brawl weapon to the tail, I'd be fine with having to spend a bit extra to do so but it would be helpful.

Go go Ferret Foo

Savage Rifts RotRwT

I would rule it as more fluff than crunch, based on the fact that unarmed anything is the treated the same way. Whether it's on your hands or tail is of no consequence crunch wise.

Preservationist Alchemist 1 | HP 8/8 | Fort 3, Ref 5, Will 1 | AC 17/14/14 | CMD 11/8 | Perc +7 | Init +3

Awesome, melee combat is dangerous enough without having no way to really up your damage. So being to add a few points really helps ^^

Ifrit

Brawling is kind of Kutishek's thing, probably even after he has a tricked out bowcaster. It will take a while before his ranged (heavy) skill catches up with his brawl.

Preservationist Alchemist 1 | HP 8/8 | Fort 3, Ref 5, Will 1 | AC 17/14/14 | CMD 11/8 | Perc +7 | Init +3

Zeylud is going up the brawling tree and will eventually get to add his medicine rank in damage. (So at some point he will get like a +5 to his damage, but all in strain)

Tarkazza is the group melee character. Brawl.melee.lighsaber. yah. I hit things hard. =^^=

Speaking of the bow caster. When i have 500cr to spare the auto-cocker would be nice

Male Human

Far as I can tell, between Kutishek, Tarkazza, perhaps Zeylud and even Caleb, there is more than a single melee character. I will give you that the Wookiees -being Wookiees and all- are the closest thing to it though.

Actually, do we have ranged characters?

Male Wookiee

My cousin wookiee seems to want to go ranged heavy

But i dont think we have a dedicated ranged combatant

-Posted with Wayfinder

Male Human

I am guessing the resident Smuggler might be using a blaster more often than his fists.

Also, you may find it handy to fill up Tarkazza's profile with his character sheet information like I have done for Caleb. It may be handy for the GM as well. :-)

My brawl is already good, I just want to have the flexibility to shoot at things as well and have a decent chance of hitting things.

Updated =^^=

Male Human

Kutishek, given your Brawn, methinks your Lightsaber and Melee skills should be GGGG.

Preservationist Alchemist 1 | HP 8/8 | Fort 3, Ref 5, Will 1 | AC 17/14/14 | CMD 11/8 | Perc +7 | Init +3

The good doctor will be a Brawl/Ranged Light for combat. But will not use killing force.

Male Human

Caleb will be using a blaster pistol, but probably will not be investing much, if at all, on improving his Ranged (Light) skill. He will be spending XP on Brawl (since Jedi do know a thing or two about hand to hand combat) and of course Lightsaber if or when he makes one.

Combat-wise he will use a blaster pistol and unarmed attacks, depending on the situation. I am guessing he will be reserving his lightsaber for when it is needed, as use of such a weapon might have some pretty serious repercussions. ;-)

Also, should we move along? Or has someone not had the chance to post yet?

Nebten's Sheet

So I'm just assuming we all know Wookie. Or do these Wookies have speech impediments that allow them to speak Basic like Chewie's cousin =v)

Let's just stick to they speak Wookiee, i dont think we need a spoiler every time we want to say something

Soak 2

What die roll did I get wrong?

Nebten's Sheet

The end cap for dice rolling is [/dice]. You typed [/d]. Simple mistake.

I'm fine if you guys speak Wookie, but if nobody in the party speaks Wookie, then there might be an issue.

Hey guys. At a LARP this weekend. Will be back on Sunday. So hope to catch up and reply then

=^^=

I think Wookiee can be understood by a few people. Since there isnt a language trait or feat

I'm sure there is something like a translation collar in effect or a wookie translation app for your datapad/commlink.

Male Human

Far as I can tell, and unlike previous editions such as D20 and Saga, it basically goes by the movies and TV series and all, where everyone can understand everyone while speaking their own language. I mean, check the interactions between Han, Chewbacca, Greedo and Jabba, for example.

Savage Rifts RotRwT

What Castor said. This edition presumes everyone speaks everything but the most obscure languages, or at least enough to get by. Shryriiwook, Huttese, Bothan, and Basic, among others. Some, like Lekku, Ewok and Arconan would take a roll...

Nebten's Sheet

DM ShadowBloodmoon, a god-send for PbP DM's is the Lazarus add-on for either Foxfire or Chrome. I know it doesn't work for IE but not sure about other browsers.

It saves what you type depending on the field in which you type it. Man, I wish I would have had such an add-on when I started PbP DM'ing 15 years ago.

RPGSS voting started the server rarely enjoys the first few hours of voting.

Male Human

Although I do not have Lazarus, I have gotten used to copying my post as I write it, and especially once it is finished, but before I click on Submit Post. Then, if it all goes well, I simply delete the copy (sometimes I just press Copy without pasting it somewhere, just keeping it ready). If something goes wrong, I simply Paste it and try again.

Male Human

Browsing about in the FFG forums, I found a guy that has made Specialization trees and Force powers PDF handouts for EotE, AoR and FaD (the recently released finished core rulebook, not the beta). You may find them handy.

Click me to find them and take a look.

Savage Rifts RotRwT

Those are nice... I might have to print me some of those... I had thought about the copy paste thing after the fact. Need to make a habit of it. It worked fine today though!
